Hah! I couldn't resist and read the [In Search....] spoilers too. ^_^;;;

I gotta see it, to believe it. I have a hard time picturing the Loonatics leaving Acmetropolis. Such a situation really does sound like the end of the series. Well, I hope the ending is a set-up for a new beginning with a secondary series such as Loonatics Unlimited.

Anyways....

I loved how Danger and Lexi's banter in The Fall of Blanc was reminiscent of an old married couple.
If In Search of Tweetums is the end ... besides, Tech and Rev's camaraderie, I'm sorely going to miss Danger and Lexi's companionship.

To say true... something say to me that it can happen that Lexi wont be with Duck (NNOOOOOOOOO) nor Ace... maybe with someone else...

The problem I have with Danger being shipped with [insert random character other than Lexi], is that it'll come across as an attempt to get Danger out of the way of Ace/Lexi. IMHO, it's a tactic only slightly less offensive than killing him off. Why can't Danger simply remain friends with Lexi? I would rather witness Danger and Lexi's friendship as the natural end stage of their relationship than to read about him being dumped into an unnecessary romance in order to kill the possibility of Danger/Lexi.

I loved how Black Oracle handled Danger in Forbidden Love. She played up Danger's friendship with Slam. I feel that if an aspiring writer doesn't want to have Danger anywhere near Lexi then [as a suggestion] him or her could utilize Danger's friendship with Slam. It'll give [a woefully neglected] Slam some story time and it'll give Danger a means of staying away from Ace's property.

Personally, I don't have anything against Duck shiiping up with another female, but I don't want it to be a duck. Especially not a Melissa descendant. Two ducks will be just too much and Melissa was a real pain (at least in Baby Looney Toons).

I wouldn't mind Duck with Zadavia, but I just thing that Zadie has too much of a low opinion of him for a relationship to work out. Duck/Weathervane? She's too much of a bad girl to hook up with a Loonatic. 
Duck/Misty Breeze? He just has an infatuation with her, and later on in Season 2 we see that he probably got over her (in 'Family Business' he called her a sucker for buying Robo Amigos).

Personally, unless it`s Ace/Lexi (and even then) I`d rather they don`t show anyone get together with anyone, season 3 or not. If they paired Lexi up with someone else, then I`d feel like I was being some fanboy who wants the pairing to turn out his way. Besides that, Ace/Lexi is a pairing some of my stories would hint at now and then; if it was never meant to be, that effectively nulls a quarter of my storyline ideas. 

Rather than abandon my projects and leave you guys with an empty promise, I`d prefer to live with perpetual ambiguity to leave a window open for us fans. But, if a pairing had to happen, I`d want it to be Ace/Lexi.

Quick question for Tyranee: Although I know there`s not a snowball`s chance in Hades that you`d ever become an Ace/Lexi shipper, would you accept Duck pairing with someone else? Like, say, a Melissa descendant of some kind? Just curious.

Maybe this isn't the end of the series. Maybe they are going to announce the rest after the last ep of this season. But then again, if they were planning to make Ace and Lexi hook up together in season 3, then it's in Duxi interests that this doesn't happen.

Someone already made a fan vid with that song.... and it's Ace/Lexi. Seriously, how can Ace be a bad boy? The only bad boys I can see in LU are Duck and (perhaps) Tech. OK, since Texi pairings are more unlikely, it makes more sense to be a Duxi fan vid.

In the season 2 Duck is shorter than Season 1

he was shoter than Lexi... but that musg... when she is talking about the Hunter he look short... like he normally look when he is next to Ace...

And he is not the only one... Ace is taller...

But is good to see for one time the girl is not the shorter...

The heights always get me confused...

I wish I had the means to do screenshots. There's a part in Cape Duck during Danger and Lexi's exchange over the flowers sent to Danger. Danger looks like he's staring at Lexi's breasts. (The position of his hands looks like he’s going for a grab even though he pulling his hand away.) It's probably due to a quirk of animation ... but the funny thing is that his eyes eventually gravitate up to her face. All the while, Lexi has an angry look on her face which makes those stills even funnier.

Is something that someone come from the future to destroy the Loonatics, so, the Loonatics childrens go after him (except Tex)... that because in the future his parents are fighting and they know the big impact of the Loonatics from the past see themselves from the future.

The reason that villain go to the past is because in the future the Loonatics are more powerfull, have more powers... and he doesn't know much about them...

Is funny... because after they go more in the past when the Loonatics were kids (and Duck changed Lexi diaper)... and to the future...

At the end, is D'angelos who do something that delete Loonatics memory...

The leader of the team is Asia, second is D'angelos (he used to be the leader before Asia became Leader)...

Is something like that.... And Asia never show the half of her face (she have her hair there), because when she was 7 years old it happen the black week, where almost everything stop existing, this half of her face suffer an attack (Duck save her and is that because he has a big scar on his face)... no doctor could do something for her face...

Well... I'm saying to much... I'm spoiler... let me see if I can find someone that can help to me to traslate this story...

The job of superheroes is quite dangerous. Something grave could happen to any of the Loonatics at any moment. I have a theory that Duck wants Lexi's stuff because heaven forbid if something were to happen to her, he would want some article of clothing or some object to remember her by. I speculate that Duck could have an article of clothing from his [biological] mother than he cherishes. He might even put his mother's article of clothing on (such as a scarf) just so he can reminisce about her love, her essence. Perhaps, Duck might care for Lexi more than he lets on, perhaps even to himself. Maybe having something of Lexi's (like Duck might have from his mom) makes Duck feel strong and gives him a sense of security. Duck wanting Lexi's stuff probably means that he loves* her.

I just hope (for the season finale) Danger doesn't revert to the level of jerkiness that he exhibited in It Came From Outer Space. That episode had to be the most ham-fisted plot driven episode I've seen from a series in a long time. Danger was a jerk in Cape Duck but at least it stayed at a level of comicalness. (Also, Lexi blasting Duck's posterior makes everything better. ) He was a sociopath in Outer Space.


Hypothetical question:
If Danger and Lexi were to have children, what kind of children would they have? Platypuses?

That's so in-character for Duck, it's scary.  I applaud you.

IMHO, the Loonatics are all currently in friendship mode. For me, I don't feel that Danger/Lexi moments take anything away from Ace/Lexi moments and vice-a-versa. Personally, I enjoy both friendships. There's no reason that Lexi has to be an exclusive friend to any of the guys on the team. Sure, there's the male/female dynamic but I don't believe that every interaction between a male and female has to be romantic. Right now, for the show, I'm going to enjoy the various friendships that the Loonatics have with each other. If a romance occurs with any of the characters--well then, so be it.
