So much movie-coolness in this fanvid Martiangirl! Excellent work! Great choice of mood-setting music and the descriptions presented heart-stopping shocking scenarios! If they ever could make an LU feature-length movie, i'd want it to be of this kind of tone and scale! Fantastic fanvid Martiangirl!
My gawd. That was so sexy. Martiangirl, that reeks of crazy awesomeness! It looked so authentic! Geez, now I'm wishing for an LU movie! You had me convinced that there will be one coming out with that piece of work!
Holy shiznit. I don't even know what else to say! I'm going nuckin' futs over how great this is! I hope you have plans for more 'trailers'!

After seeing this, i totally wish there was an LU movie in the works too that would be of this kind of grand scale! Tension between worlds and erupting wars resulting, and in the midst of all the chaos, the Loonatics would be fighting for all their worth with major consequences and shocking surprises! *Dreams away.*
Oooooh! I know! Plus, add in a drama factor to that!
*gushes*
I was watching it again and again.... and my sister stepped into the room...
Me: LOOK! LU MOVIE!! Sister: *squeals and watches trailer* Me: :D Sister: *finishes watching* Me: Heeeeeeeh.... I lied. There is no movie. Sister: Aww. =(
I'm horrible like that. LOL!!
But watching this again, I love the part that shows each of them getting hit the meteor's radiation! And as everyone else has probably said... the music is such a great mood setter for this one! It's looks so professionally done! Again, awesome work Martiangirl!

Oh kaejae you're such an evil sibling! How could you trick your sister like that? Tsk! Tsk! And i also like the part which showed all the Loonatics just as they were being hit by the meteor radiation. Coupled with the exploding music, those scenes were fantastic to watch! Martiangirl, i hope you make more fanvids in future! Now i wanna go banging on the WB's doors for a cool LU movie!
Martiangirl, your movie trailer is brilliant, awesome, great.
Is the music self-made or from a soundtrack from a movie? I like it.

Shucks thank you all! I'm glad you all enjoyed the trailer! And for those who missed it, "The Hunter" as well as the Melvin Martian LU commercial is now up on dailymotion.
To answer your question, Mario, the song is from the movie "Requiem for a Dream". However this particular version was specifically remixed for "The Lord of the Rings: Two Towers" trailer a while back (so it's more fast paced). I heard it said that if you put that music in the background, you can make absolutely anything look more dramatic and epic. I guess he wasn't kidding.

Very nice. Very, very nice. Actually, shortly prior to watching that movie, I had one of the ideas used in there in my head, for use in the future of my season. Good work, Martiangirl. Loved the music. See? I knew they should make a movie, and thanks to MartianGirl, more of you agree with me. Once more, outstanding work. You used all the right footage, and you`ve left me with a very epic feeling. I was half-convinced some of that was original footage, which would have been even more incredible.

Hi!
U R welcome.
Do you know if this song is on the soundtrack of Requiem for a Dream or The Lord of the Rings The two Towers? I love epic music.

The slower, less epic version is available on the "Requiem for a Dream" soundtrack. The epic version used for the trailer is not available in any soundtrack, though many fans have been requesting it. I heard rumors that they may release it at sometime in the future, but this is all unconfirmed. So for now, the only place you can get it is on the web from other fans who have ripped it. Sorry.

Hi!
Thanks. I will search for the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack and maybe I will find it.
And from the epic version for the moment I have your movie trailer which I have saved on my computer.
Loved the movie trailer!!! I loved how you showed the Loonatics the few seconds before they got hit by the meteor's radiation, AND how you showed them in the exact same order sporting off their new powers.
I now know the actual song being played, after some research. It`s called Lux Aeterna, which is Latin for "Eternal Light" (I like that translation). It`s so popular, it`s essentially synonymous now with Requiem for a Dream, the soundtrack the base song is stored on. They used a sped-up version for the trailer of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, titled Requiem for a Tower, ostensibly the most popular version of the song.
Congrats once more on the trailer, Martiangirl. You`ve made us proud.
THAT WAS UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!!!!!!! SQUEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! I WANT AN LU MOVIE SOOOOO BAD NOW!!!!!!!!!! I LUV THIS SOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!
A few months ago I had not seen any of the S2 episodes when I first saw this and as I watched it, all I could think of was 'Oh my god! This would be an AWSOME movie!'. When I found out that it was fan made I was impressed yet dissapointed. Impressed by how realistic it was and dissapointed that it meant that there wasn't an LU movie after all. And even though I've now seen all the S1 and S2 episodes and now know that its fan made, whenever I watch it (at least 2-3 times a week!), it seems like I'm seeing an actual trailer from WB about a LU movie! Its like, I've seen those scenes before but while watching your trailer, its like seeing them for the first time! If they did this sorta thing for an LU movie, I think that it would interest people.
Keep it up Martiangirl! And Thank you so much for making it!
