Haha, ah, well, I'm a bit complicated when it comes to this pairing. I am a Tech/Rev fan, but can only think of fluff between them when I have them in their cute human forms. I can't really see them as a pairing as they are ^^;; But still I say TECH/REV FOREVER!! XD Mawhaha.

Although a relationship between traditionally predator-prey critters is cute, I don't really see them as a couple. Matter of fact, I honestly don't see any convincing seeds of potential homosexual relationships between any of the Loonatics. Could just be me though. The Loonatics is, currently, just not a romantic show. The closest you get is Ace/Lexi and even then...

But I'm always open for well-written possibilities and if anyone can write a convincing coupling of Tech/Rev I wouldn't be too bothered by it or anything.

I really don't like the idea of Tech and Rev being a couple. It just doesn't seem right; in fact, I wouldn't want Rev to be part of any slash pairings. I mean, I respect slash people in real life, but I just don't feel right about Tech and Rev getting together that way. I would hate to see Tech to also be a part of a slash pairing, but I am more concerned about Rev, actually. I like it when they are best friends.

Tech and Rev are awesomeful.
But... I can't support them as a slash pairing.
I will confess to having read Tech/Rev fan fiction, but it starts to disturb me when it gets to the kissing and stuff.
I definitely can't see their relationship ever going past "brotherly" in the show.

But of course, for those who choose to have odd fantasies of Tech and Rev fluff... they are entitled to the freedom to write fan fiction.
At least it's not a /completely/ unbelievable pairing though.

As far as the show is concerned, so far Tech and Rev are brotherly.

Personally, I feel that too much got read into Tech's wink in Weathering Heights. I feel that Lexi got rescued first because she's a girl. Ace was being gallant.* Tech knows that and winked at Rev about that point. It was a cute joke.

*As in how men are supposed to take the time to open doors for women. Men aren't obliged to open doors for other men. Tech and Rev basically got the door slammed in their faces.

First post, yay.

Anyway, I'll first admit that I'm a big TechxRev fan. It may not seem plausible to others, but how many fangirls truly understand the real workings of a male/male relationship? I don't think anything's really going on in the show itself, but a good amount of meaningful relationships start off on the road of extremely close friendships, which is something that both Tech and Rev have; the jokes, the winking, the free play, the subtle little moments here and there. In real life, significant relationships begin with that, until one or both individuals realize "I really do care for this person".

Again, I don't think the show has had them cross that line (it's a kid's show, after all), but they're at least close to it, and I think that's what all of us TechxRev fans adore. And this is all from a guy's point of view, by the way biggrin

Very well said! If you dig through old threads enough, you'll find that I've used my perspective as a gay male to defend this pairing from time to time. It's too bad gay characters on a kids' show would cause such an uproar. There's a real spark between those two. I wish they could act on it.

You should give a shot. If the fic isn't up to the level you want it to be, just leave it for a while, then go back and revise it with a fresh perspective. It doesn't have to be perfect after one sitting.

There's an icon gallery out on the main site, under "Other". XtreamCrazy also has some icons in her DA gallery.

You might want to ask Miss Cali for access to the naughty section, too. There's a growing amount of stuff there for Rev and Tech fans. ;)

Speaking of the pairing, I support it but I wouldn't want it to happen officially. The reason? Being a HUGE Tech fan, I would really like to see him with a girl, because being a girl, I could fantasize about them and sorta experience it from her point of view, almost in first person. Something I can't do with guys.
This is why i'm also a Texi. =)
In general slash is not of my interest for the reason I stated above, but Tech and Rev are a big exception that i really like and don't mind seeing in fanart and fanfictions. I actually seek the stuff. Heck, I do draw the stuff! XD

Currently, I view Tech and Rev as great friends--but I can understand and accept them developing their friendship into a romantic relationship.

I almost always prefer friendship romances over instantaneous romance. Love based on lust tends to ephemeral but usually, love based upon a great friendship can be for life.

Okay, I think I've cracked.

A completely separate and off topic project has ignited my writing abilities again. While working on that side deal, I believe I've come up with a fanfic
idea that I want to use for a short bit of Tech/Rev writing. Now I haven't seen every episode of the series (yet) and I haven't scoured every fanfic that's already out there, so I'm hoping this idea hasn't already been grabbed up, but here it is.

Unfortunately for Tech, it's his birthday. Despite his attempts to keep the information from leaking out, it manages to become known and grabs all of the Loonatics' attentions for the day. But the big question is: What do you get for the city's smartest coyote who can make just about anything he wants?

I'm outlining individual ideas for each Loonatic right now, and what they would end up deciding on. I wouldn't mind hearing a few ideas, though I'm pretty sure I'm already set on what Duck would give him hmm

. Of course, Rev will end up giving him the best gift of all (not that, you perverts evileye

). But yea, any suggestions for the others? I'd love to hear 'em.

*hopes this story concept hasn't been used already...*
