I mention before that I might require the original footage of Loonatics, well guess what?
This anonymous friend of mine just gave me the call that he somewhat captured a footage from the original Loonatics. It should arrive here in 3 weeks, then i'll try to grab some screenshots, if anything else..I guess...
I have a feeling that this might turn into something else, you never know..so stay tuned folks!
Whoah! You mean someone out there really does have some footage of the original animation for LU?! Awesome! Can't wait to see it when you get it Zadavia! Hopefully you do get it and it doesn't get lost in the post or something. How much footage did your contact say s/he had btw? A couple of minutes? A few seconds?

Well it would be interesting to see what kind of story ideas WB would have had if they used these characters. I probably wouldn't have come up with many ideas with those characters. And I have now had this image in my head about what would have happened if they kept the old Duck as the weapons expert in the improved cartoon.
The old Duck carries a machine gun and jumps on top of some rubble with guards surrounding him.
Old Duck: DIE DIE YOU ! MWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
Danger Duck watches in horror as the old Duck goes mad with the gun as he spreads blood and gore everywhere.
Duck: He is so not going to star in any of our episodes. He'll kill everybody off before the episode even begins!

And Lexi was the 'disguise expert' i believe. So does that mean originally she would have been involved in more covert spy and infiltration missions? Hmm...
Initial concept Lexi: I get to wear a different disguise every episode! Wheee!
Tho' i do think that the first character concept for Tech would have been interesting too. From what we could see in the background of the S1 opening sequence, the original Tech looked to be quite a daredevil! He was driving that fancy red winged car straight toward a giant monster's mouth! I'm sure he had a plan, but that did seem a rather risky thing to do.
Like i've said before, i think the initial idea for LU would have resulted in more fast-paced action animation sequences and dramatic stories. Reminiscent more of Swat Kats perhaps.
I've been wondering when something like this would happen!! I can't wait to see what the original show was gonna be like. (and who would do the voices etc.)

Yeah, they both Number one in my books. Maybe it is cause the first episode I have seen of Loonatics was Family Business. Also they both have great character designs, I mean look how fluffy Tech tail is LOL. Plus both have great personailties. So I like them both.
