Any fans of this show on this board. I have to admit this season is shaping up to be so cool! For those watching it right now, anyone besides me notice that Paul Dini (the creator of Harley Quinn) is the writer for this episode? You know it'll be good!

I watch The Batman when i can over here in the UK too. I've seen the old B:TAS, some of the new adventures of Batman eps and Justice League. Yes, i greatly admire DC comic superhero shows! Batman is probably my fave superhero of all! I agree that the latest season of The Batman has been a joy to watch. The depth of writing of the show never fails to please me!
Superman has his moments. But yeah, nobody beats the Bat! I hear a version of the Justice League and later Superman will be making guest appearances on "The Batman"
Harley Quinn is just as cute as ever! Though I enjoyed her origins in "Mad Love" a bit more.

Yeah her voice is just so...cutesy! Even tho' she's a deluded Joker-lover, you can't help but adore her. She comes across as so child-like and fun-loving, but that front always serves as a distraction for her 'punch-line' if you will.
And what was it that they are supposed to be working on with Justice League? "Final Frontier" is it? A Superman death story perhaps?! And S4 of The Batman will have some of the Justice League appearing as well apparently.
For "The Batman" S4 will have Justice League (but no Wonder Woman because the creator doesn't want her to be in anything where she isn't the star or member). S5 will have Superman, Lex Luthor, Metallo, and other Clayface. I'm still hoping for Two Face sometime down the road.
There are two JL movies in the works. The first is Justice League: Final Frontier. However, that will not be in continuity with the DCAU. There is also a Death of Superman animated movie as well, which may or maynot be in continuity (though I hope it is since I think Bruce Timm is working on it).
There are also rumors that a Justice League live action movie is being penned for the future!
Now if only WB will cave in and allow Bruce Wayne to make an appearance on Smallville, I can die happy!
2007 is the year of the Superhero!

You mean they already have plans for a S5 of the Batman? Well not surprising i guess, it is a very popular show! Now if only we could get confirmation of a 3rd season for LU too!
Don't think Bruce Wayne will be on Smallville any time soon tho', of course, they could always change their minds at some point in the future.
Well, I read that the producers and writers have been trying to get Bruce Wayne on the show for a while, but the big wigs at the head of WB won't allow it for some reason.

Maybe they don't want to overuse Batman in all their superhero shows.
Knowing WB, it's probably some stupider reason, like they don't want Bruce Wayne in Smallville because they are afraid people will see the new movie about his origins and think they are connected to the show somehow.
Same line of thinking is what resulted in the Bat-Embargo. When JLU came into being, all Batman villains were banned from the show because WB was working on "The Batman" and thought that kids would be confused to see two different versions of the bad guys (but apparently wouldn't be to see 2 different versions of Batman). Really, do they think kids are that stupid? Give them more credit than that.
Superman had a new movie last year with a sequel in the works, is star of a live action show, had an animated DTV movie last year, will be in 2 new animated DTV movies this year, and is getting a guest spot in S5. And that's not counting his own animated series and starring role in JL/U from the mid 90s on. Apparently, he's not getting overexposure.
Would one episode on Smallville with a young "still stuggling to find his role and is not-yet Batman" Bruce Wayne seriously kill them? They already threw comic book continuity out the freakin' window on that show anyway. Since when did Clark know Lois before he moved to Metropolis? Or knew all these superheroes while he was still a teen? I don't think Oliver Queen was Green Arrow around at the time. And Cyborg shouldn't even be alive considering that he's a teenager/young adult when Superman is already in his 30's-40's.
EDIT: I can't believe I forgot! Superman is also a main character in "Legion of Superheroes". Superman seems to be WB's favorite these days.

Good points about Smallville there. Well, the writers had to have something interesting happening in the show i guess, and Lois Lane, Green Arrow and Cyborg fits the bill.
It wouldn't surprise me if they changed their minds about Bruce Wayne later on.
I doubt it, unless Smallville lasts a really long time and they are starting to run out of ideas. They made an announcement a few days ago that Bruce Wayne was effectively off limits.
On a much more depressing note, I just discovered this.

You mean there could have been a pre-Batman series focusing on the early development of Bruce Wayne? WAAAAHHHH! That would have given us so much insight and depth into the origins of the Batman! That really would have been a TV series for WB to produce! No doubt it would have been very popular! Oh well, WB loses out!
No, the fans are the ones who lose out. WB obviously doesn't care since they dropped it and never looked back. And that pilot episode sounded sooooooo coooooooool too! Harvey, Selina, Bullock, Barbara, Gordon, Lucius, Montoya, they were all there! And Alfred sounded hilarious with his dry sense of wit!

I wish you hadn't informed me about that Bruce Wayne series possibility now! I feel like i've been deprived! Oh well, such is the sad outcome of alot of good TV possibilities.
I used to really dislike this series (this version of the Joker STILL grates my nerves) but I'm actually really enjoying this season a lot. I really enjoyed Two of a Kind. Hynden Walch does Harley perfectly-- I almost didn't notice that it wasn't Arleen Sorkin voicing her.

I think The Batman's Joker definitely looks more 'wild' than the earlier ones. A good and a bad thing in my opinion, but i don't mind the new version at all. And yes! Walch is like an exact replica of the earlier Harley Quinn voice-wise! I thought there was very little difference! Walch does Starfire and Madam Rouge in Teen Titans as well right?
And Kevin Michael Richardson is the Joker if I remember correctly. I've seen this show once or twice, but not enough to really get a feel for it. I've never really been one for big superheroes...well, except for movies.
