I've seen some boards talking about Tech's betrayal (), but what about Ace? It would be more of a big deal with the team leader betraying everyone. Warner Bros. has been doing team-leader-betrayals in almost every show (Teen Titans, Xiaolin Showdown. Okay, that's not almost every show, but whatever) And Ace hasn't been "the hero" in a while (think "I am Slamacus" or "Family Matters" or "A Creep in the Deep" or "Cape Duck." I could go on and on with this.) Anyone have an idea?

Well none of us assume that Ace would ever betray the team because he's too loyal to Zadavia and everyone else to do so and he has the role of being a leader for a group and he's got to stay strong in the mind if he needs to continue with his role. The only way that Ace can turn evil is by mind control. Unless BV comes back and takes Ace instead of Tech or another new villain who has the ability to control peoples minds comes along, I very much doubt Ace would betray the team.
And besides, he knows how it feels to be betrayed himself thanks to Deuce and Pinkster.
I'm with Akira. Tho' the idea of Ace betraying the team would be a shocker indeed, i find it one of the most unlikely betrayal choices. Ace has the all important role of being team leader, the others trust him fully. If Ace were to betray their trust, then try to come back onto the team, it'd be pretty difficult for him to resume the role of leader again and earn their trust back. Leaders can't let their teams down, and Ace would seem to be the perfect leader figure who understands this. He's loyal to Zadavia and the Loonatics. I don't think Ace has the personality to go traitor, he doesn't seem to be dissatisfied with anything about his job really.
The reason the possibility of Tech going rogue has been raised before, is partly because he doesn't hold such a pivotal role as that of leader in the team. The main reasons probably tho' are that Tech is the most intelligent, hence would be one of the most well prepared to face his team mates in a confrontation, and he has serious, focused personality traits that could rasie the possibilty of him concealing aspects of himself.
But as you say Zadavias spirit, leaders have been seen to betray their teams in some form or another in Teen Titans and Xiaolin Showdown. So who knows?
I think the biggest shocker of all would be Lexi. Think about it: Lexi, going bad, even if only temporarily? Of course, she`d go bad for a sympathetic reason, not because she got tired of superheroics or decided to have a little fun.
I actually think that Ace's betryal would be the shocker. He's always so dedictated to the team and it would be like breaking a promise, except a huge deal.

There has to be at least one anti-Tech, to keep the delicate nature of the Loonatics Unleashed fandom in balance, and that anti-Tech must be very dedicated, or have an accomplice to join them, as so to make sure the Techies don't take over.
You think the letter was my only plan? AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Foolish anti-Tech! I have other plans for you! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! And i'm not telling! *Suddenly my mobile phone rings and i answer it.* Hello? NO, i said you're to impersonate Ace and make it look like he's gone bad! Now get the job done! I ain't paying you to be sloppy! *Ends conversation, then i realise what i've just spilled out too much info. to kaejae.* Oops...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! YOU CAN'T DO THAT! THAT'S NOT FUNNY!
Although, I am doing street theatre in my performance studies exercise sometime soon, so you never know. Should Ace betray the team, I might try to fit the song in there somewhere when we start the topic. So I wouldn't feel so silly doing that. But anyways, I once dared myself to try and perform card tricks in for the public with my sister as my glamourous assistant. Not one person wanted to see our tricks.
Ace betraying the team... That can only occur if he's really p***ed off at the team for treating him like garbage (Duck would make this happen in less than 5 min, no offense to the Duckers, if any).

If Ace betrayed the team, I'd lock myself in my room and scream.
Ace: uh....is runnin' away from the tower, during a week where there people bein' murdered left and right by some mysterious person, considered betrayal? me: um.....maybe, I dunno. Why? Ace: Uh...no reason. -puts earplugs in-

Leaders can't betray their teams.It ain't right.Plus it's not in Ace's character. He's 100% loyal to Zadavia & the Loonatics. He'd never betray them.
But your theory about Tech being the most logical one to betray his teammates does have some grounding to it.
Tech would probably do confront his teammates whenever something were to happen. His aspects of conceiling his past among his teammates & most trusted allies do show his unique characteristic features.
Hopefully we can have an S3 betrayal by one of the teammembers. You know what would be awesome? Optaimatus betrayal! And he never goes back to the world of good!!!!! If that happens, I'll be so eternally happy that I'll get a job selling cellphones to get enough money for the S2 DVD!! Flexa: You'd do that anyway, smart one.
the only way ace would betry the team is that he had a dark side (dark ace) then he proboly betry the team hay that dark side is a good idea for my new story
