i wached the music villan again and tech looked nearves near the end and when bootsy looked at him after the captured zadavia he shook his head and looked mad i think he might have betrayed the team in some way or another(why tech why why can't it be duck or something why)

Tech may have been mad because Bootes called him Ugly Coyote. Why would he even work for Rupes or Optimatus? There might be three possibilities to it:
1. Rupes may have threatened his friends. 2. He may have known something about Tech, and is using that secret to blackmail him. 3. Rupes may have made a promise, to restore Mallory to the way she was before the accident.
I wouldn't exactly jump into conclusions Kari. Well, okay I'll have to watch the episode again and pick up on those details you said. I don't think Tech would betray the team cos:
1. He's too solemn a character to do that.
2. I don't think Tech's the sort of guy that would trust a villain.
So for now, I don't think Tech has betrayed the team.

I'm not so sure about that third reasoning involving Mastermind Stella. Seems a bit random. But i do agree that Tech looking mad at Bootes was not necessarily a sign of him being a traitor and keeping some secret from his team mates. Bootes had just captured Zadavia and was making a demand of Tech for a guitar weapon in exchange for her. Of course Tech's not gonna be too happy about having to do what a villain tells him!
But mind you, the possibility of a Tech betrayal did occur to me after watching "The Music Villain" as well. I typed this up over in the 'beliefs' forum:
"I was left with a shocking thought in my head after watching "The Music Villain". What if Tech really is revealed to be a traitor in the finale eps?! There were things in this ep that raised potential suspicions in my mind. Firstly, how on Earth did Bootes gain access into Zadavia's underwater base to lay the flower trap for her?! Surely their are security measures in Zadavia's underwater base?! A logical explanantion is that Bootes had help from the inside! And Tech comes to mind! When Bootes made his first transmission to Zadavia, Tech was seen at the computer tapping away in the background. At first i thought Tech was just trying to trace Bootes' transmission signal, but he did that during Bootes 2nd tranmission later (after he had captured Zadavia)! So unless Tech had 'twice' being trying to trace Bootes' signal, the first instance could have been him sending Bootes and co. access and location information to the underwater base! Hence allowing Bootes to break in and set a trap for Zadavia!
And then it was rather convenient that Tech knew exactly what kind of guitar Bootes was wanting! Bootes didn't really give much information about what design and specifications he wanted Tech to build into his guitar (in amongst his funk jargon!). And how could Bootes have been so sure that Tech would have being tracking his signal's origin when he told Ace to ask Tech about the drop-off point?! Too convenient.
And it is also notable that none of the Loonatics ever managed to get direct hits at Bootes and his band save for Tech in all their confrontations! Tech was the only one that ever managed to strike them in all their battles! Tech managed to push back Bootes and his band with his EM powers in the first concert scene, but then was knocked back by Rupes (which he somehow knew to shield himself against!); after the cosmic guitar was handed over to Bootes, Tech's gluco-gel shot was the one that made contact and stopped the band for a while; and in the final fight, Tech's deflector device backfired the band's firepower, taking them out.
What if all along, Tech had just been enacting out an elaborate plan to create and pass a cosmic guitar to Rupes who would suck up Zadavia's powers with it and then free Optimatus? Aside from that, Tech could have been making sure that his 'team mates' wouldn't stop Rupes' progress in all their fights! I'm half thinking Tech's treachery is a possibilty in the S2 finale now! Ludicrous as it sounds! Tho' i could be completely wrong as well."
Of course, i might have just being over-suspicious of what i was seeing in typing the above!
Or another idea that has popped into my head for the finale eps was that of Tech somehow sacrificing himself for the safety of the team. What if he made a deal with Optimatus to give himself up to him in exchange for him leaving the other Loonatics and Zadavia unharmed? Or there's always the scenario i came up with before:
"Imagine seeing Tech being sucked up into a wormhole portal, followed by Optimatus, who grabs onto Tech's legs, but Tech's hand is caught by one of the other Loonatics or Zadavia who valiantly try to pull their friend back out.
Tech: Let go of me! Save yourselves!
Ace: Never! Tech: It's the only chance we have to banish Optimatus! You have to let me go!
*Ace's grip on Tech's hand begins loosening as the force of the wormhole pulls Tech further in.*
Tech: It's been an honour working with you all. Farewell.
*Tech lets go of Ace's hand and he and Optimatus are sucked into the wormhole, which closes after them. Ace, Zadavia and the other Loonatics stare in disbelief at the now empty space in front of them. Some of them lower their heads in sorrow.*
Rev: He's...gone...
Dramatic huh? Not that i think it will happen tho'."
All that's probably wishful thinking from me though.
I looked at Part two of The Music Villain. Tech did look like he was at Bootes's mercy, but that is probably because Tech knows that Zadavia's life is in danger. As for being nervous, Rupes said he would find the dog of equal power. Tech may have already realized that Rupes was talking about Optimatus. Still, there were somethings that didn't seem right.
1. Tech was looking at the two mant rays at the beginning. I could only see the back of him, but I can tell he seemed out of sorts about something. When someone is paying attention to a pair of animals outside, it means they are thinking about something.
2. How did Rupes know where Zadavia lives and her email address?
3. How did Bootes know that Zadavia was in the audience?
4.How did Bootes get into Zadavia's base and planted that flower?
5. How did Tech know what kind of guitar Bootes wanted?
6. Why didn't Tech mention of a fail safe ealier before they took on Rupes?
Now would be a good time for your logical explanations, Black Oracle.

Those are fair questions and points there Stella. I was thinking about how Tech seemed thoughtful and introspective at the beginning as he looked out the windows of Zadavia's underwater base at those manta rays too! That got me wondering what was going through Tech's mind at that time as well! Of course maybe it wasn't anything in particular, but you never know...
A few of those questions i raised before as well. And they could be potential points for suspicion. But then on the other hand, they could be explained in less accusative ways too. Bootes knew Zadavia was in the audience for his concert becuase he invited her in the first place! Perhaps Bootes was able to break into Zadavia's HQs using Rupes' Frelengian technology (since we know he's from Freleng too). Tech is already familiar with the construction of guitars and so Bootes expected him to know what he wanted in a "cosmic guitar". Maybe Tech 'has' built a flaw into that guitar of his, we don't know, that could come up at some point in the finale eps. Or maybe Tech was just in such a worry over Zadavia's safety that he didn't think to put a weakness into that guitar he built?
Well, we`ll have to see if even the mighty Guardian Strike Sword can match the power of Rupes and Optimatus combined. Provided it isn`t re-taken by Deuce (though not likely; unless it`s a surprise towards the end, I highly doubt Deuce is going to return. But you never know).
Also, I suspect that Tech might eventually lose his powers, likely to that curium. They`ve used his smarts an aweful lot this seaon, but we only recently saw his powers in use again. Plus, if there ever had to be a confrontation between Tech and any of the other `Tics, having that molecular regeneration gives Tech a bit of an unfair edge, since he`s virtually impossible to kill (not that I`d want any of the `Tics to die, mind you!), much less defeat.
Also, I think it would depress Tech if he never grew old (watching his friends waste away while he was forced to stay young, thus eventually leaving him with no-one), although I have a hypothesis that he might still be able to age even with his regenerative pwoers.

Tech lose his powers?! NOOOOO!!! He wouldn't be a 'super' hero anymore then! *Sniff.*
And maybe Tech can still grow old with his molecular regeneration, but i just thought a long while ago that'd it'd be really interesting if Tech's healing powers worked in a similar way to Wolverine's in that it prevented him from ageing, coz his body would constantly be regenerating and renewing itself from natural deterioration. But that might not be true in the show.
I do think though that Ace's guardian strike sword will play a big role somehow in the finale eps. Maybe Ace will get a power boost from it or something.

Shock, horror, disbelief, denial and anger. Lexi would probably be in shock, Slam would be speechless with surprise, Duck would think it was a joke at first (hence denial), Rev would be hurt and confused and Ace would probably be the first one to react with vehemence and anger.
Ace: You betrayed us all! Why?!
Tech: It wasn't supposed to be this way. None of you were supposed to know! But you all left me no choice!
Something that reminds me of: What do you think would be the `Tics reaction if Ace displayed a great amount of rage or anger? Perhaps pent up for quite a while? I`m sure he would be a formidable force.
I'm sure most of them would be a formidable force if they were were having a major outburst of anger. But i can imagine it might be more frightening and distressing if it's your leader that's losing control of himself!

Even Rev? I hate to say it, but I don't think he'd be all that strong if he lost control...unless he started running around the world and turning back time or messing up with weather or something! My god...Rev has some abilites of villians with his super speed!
I'm convinced Rev can do more than just run around really fast with his super speed. If you think of the Flash in Justice League for example. If Rev got really angry, i'm sure he could give a decent walloping to the receiver of his anger!
No, I'm serious. Especially you, Black Oracle. You made me actually want to see that on the S2 finale!
At least, the drama was intense until oddity mentioned the Ace/ice cream gag.
I suppose Rev would be shocked at first, then hurt, then plain old hell mad. Like uncontrollably mad. Like unable to talk to someone without going into a dramatic rage mad. Like it was all his fault mad. Only why would he feel that? Maybe 'cause he's been getting on Tech's nerves a lot lately.......
*gasp* I just did 4 things!! I made a new fanfic idea, I scared myself by imagining Rev hell mad, I made myself a new theory for why Tech would betray the team, AND I made myself want to see this happen even more in the S2 finale!!!
But they better not make tech betray the team, end the season, plan to put the resolution in the 3rd season premeir, then cancel the show.
Well, be sure to look for my Rev hell mad fanfic on fanfiction.net as soon as I finish The Beginning!
Black Oracle wrote:I'm sure most of them would be a formidable force if they were were having a major outburst of anger. But i can imagine it might be more frightening and distressing if it's your leader that's losing control of himself!
Thing is, I`ve always viewed Ace as the most potentially angry one, strange as it may sound. Slam could be capable of anger, but he doesn`t seem the type to hold a grudge like some of the others (of course, we all know Slam`s deeper than we think). Duck could have outbursts, but he`s usually too quick to anger to truly burst out in rage (I found out that rage actually occurs with normally calm people, and requires a huge build up of suppressed anger).
Rev, like Slam, seems too mellow to build up so much anger (but, again, how do we know for sure?) Lexi could be potent, but she always has that compassionate heart to help level herself out (she seems to have the most sensitive heart out of the `Tics, to me anyway).
But what about Ace, who rarely if ever shows true anger? He gets annoyed, and he gets defensive, but has he ever truly lost it? What if Ace is hiding some past grievance or sorrow behind that almost cheeky smirk and chipper demeanor? What if some loss finally overloaded him? Perhaps he loses an old friend`s life, or maybe he gets emotionally wounded by some travesty?
Then, it becomes too much, he can`t take it any more, and he explodes, seething with anger and possibly hatred, exposing a dark side none of the others ever even dreamed he was burdened with. Ace, filled with fury, would be unstoppable, considering his sheer determination and diligence, turned to a relentless drive for revenge. If Ace ever felt rage, good and evil alike would cower.
Er...sorry if I freaked anyone out there. Point is, we have to consider what aspects of each Loonatic would be influenced by anger. Ace has perhaps the strongest drive and determination of any of the `Tics, a nigh-unbreakable will that could substitute for simple strength and energy. That kind of will power put in the hands of a raging person can be...dangerous.
No, I meant the thing about how Rev annoys him all he time which could LEAD to either... 1. Tech betraying the team. 2. Rev thinking that it's his fault that Tech betrayed the team. 3. Both.
