Here are a couple:

Tacking on the zeroes:When you have 3x4000,it's simple.First you just do 3x4 which equals 12 and then attach the three zeroes and,you get 12000.Try it with other numbers.

Making tens and adding the ones together:Say you got 45+78,first you add the four and seven together and make them into tens so,it's 40+70=110 and 5+8=13 put them together,equals 123.

Noticing the nines:Okay,you have $39.99x6.First you add one to $39.99 which is $40.00 and then take away 6 so now you have your answer,$39.94.The dollars are challenging but without the dollar signs,the answer is 3994.

Halving and Doubling:This is only used for mulitiplication.This only works with even numbers not odd numbers.Okay,6x65.You have to cut the number 6 in half so you get 3 and double 65 so you get 125 and mulitiply them...3x125=375.Here's another one,23x4.Halve 4 and you get 2,double 23 and it equals 46 and just mulitiply again...2x46=92.Try it.It's very easy.
