I know WB would not do that to their most popular Looney Toon characters, but wouldn't it have been cooler if the Loonatics were the villains and they always defeated the good guys who were traditionally villains in Looney Toon shorts (eg. Sylvester, Elmer Fudd etc.)?
I can imagine Duck and tech as bad guys actually.....

Maybe one day they'll come up with a rivalling group of evil counterparts for the Loonatics! *Imagines the Loonatics being transported to another alternatte dimension and meeting evil versions of themselves...*
Duck: I hate to hit such a pretty face but...*Throws a power orb at evil Duck look-alike, but evil Duck blocks it.*
Evil Duck: Good thing i don't mind hitting pretty faces. *Punches good Duck.* Hmm, actually, i do feel kinda bad hitting my own lovely mug...
H'm, I can't really see Rev being evil... he's too nice. x3 It would definitely be interesting if they could meet their originals though. o__o; Those things... with pointy arms... ah yes, interesting indeed. xD
I was considering working on a fan episode where Ace winds up in an alternate universe where Acmetropolis is a dystopia (or anti-utopia), his friends` counterparts are living unhappy lives one way or another (from being dirt poor to imprisoned), and Ace`s counterpart himself is the evil emperor. Oh, and the "villains" are actually the good guys, or at least better than the emperor. In short, there would be an Evil Ace. But, the impracticality of that plot combined with the clichetic villain idea sort of turned me off that concept.
The alternate timeline concept reminds me of the "mirror universe" in Star Trek. I think it could make for an interesting episode, although the concept is neither fresh nor particularly creative. Not being a complete 180° from the 'normal' Acmetropolis would make it less cliché.

Well, it isn`t a complete 180, but there are many differences:
Ace is the evil emperor of Acmetropolis (resulting from not joining the `Tics when he had a chance, later allying with Optimatus, then betraying him after Acmetropolis was conquered due to a lack of heroic influence)
Lexi is dirt poor and lacking in self-confidence
Duck is a hardened hero, but imprisoned and depowered
Tech is a daredevil stunt biker (at least on the surface), retaining his powers for his dangerous performances
Rev is simply insane
Slam is Evil Ace`s chief enforcer, retaining his powers for helping Ace keep his iron-fisted rule over Acmetropolis (he, too, is more or less a prisoner though)
Zadvia is nowhere to be found (what do you think happened to her?)
Many of the villains (possibly Season 2 villains in specific) have formed a sort of Resistance to try and liberate Acmetropolis from Evil Ace`s rule
The episode would have involved Ace beginning to doubt his abilities as a leader (likely resulting from some recent devastation), and wondering if the `Tics would have been better off without him. Towards the end of the story, he would have found resolve to continue leading the `Tics after helping to defeat his evil counterpart, seeing that, for better or worse, the team, and indeed the world`s better off with Ace as the leader.
All in all, though, I`m likely to scrap this one, since there`d be far more practical ways to show Ace that he`s a good choice for team leader, plus the alternate dimension plot has been used to death, like you said. It wouldn`t go so far as to make the `Tics the villains (heck, the "other" Loonatics would have wound up forming a team again under the good Ace`s leadership to help the Resistance, albeit still altered from their primary selves), but still, I can do better.
I didn't mean to come off as criticizing you specifically. I was talking about evil alternate reality storylines in general, and it was pretty clear that your idea wasn't just a 180, though I am glad it prompted a more detailed description of the scenario.
Tech as a stunt biker? So incongruous with 'our' Tech, yet so perfect considering his regen abilities. Rev going insane is a nice touch. I dunno, the product might not be your best work, but there are enough twists to keep it from feeling too "been there, done that", and I'd enjoy reading it. You should keep it for a rainy day.

Tech as a stunt biker, i loved that idea too! As Skifox says Crossfire, maybe if you're ever really dry on fic ideas one day, you could use that alternate reality one. I myself had an idea that put the Loonatics into very different situations in their futures too.
The fanfic sounds cool, Crossfire!! PLZ don't scrap it!! I was thinking of making an Ace/Lexi fanfic with the alternate universe with the evil counterparts thing.

I'll give them bonus points if the evil males have goatees.
