At first I thought each episode was 2 months (1 year passed after 6 eps), but then in ep. 14 Duck said they worked together for only 1 year. Then in Pinkster, the t.v. reporter said that the Loonatics have been protecting Acmetropolis for "years." How long have the Loonatics been together?
I suspect that by the second season, the Loonatics will probably have been together over a year, perhaps approaching 2 years. But that's just my guess.
Well, "The Comet Cometh" was their one year anniversary exactly (the six eps in a year that you referenced). Beyond that, I think the interval of 'Acmetropolis time' between eps is probably random to a degree, meaning "Secrets of the G.S. Sword" could have been just a few months later, making Duck's comment perfectly valid. 'Years' is a pretty vague term, but I'm in agreement with B_O, that it's probably been about two years.

Guys.... even if they protected Acmetropolis for a couple of years you must realise that they are growing older! For example, if Slam was 26 when he started (i'm taking him as an example because he looks the oldest in the group) he must be then 28... and that's not very young.

True. The Loonatics don't seem to be getting any older. And I highly doubt that a 30 year old anthro can still be making tornadoes. What is Acmetropolis supposed to do when all the Loonatics are in a senior home or something? *imagines*.............
Hmm, i personally think all the Loonatics are somewhere in their early to mid 20s. But yes, even they will be subject to the deteriorating effects of time! Except maybe Tech, coz some us have a theory about how his molecular regeneration may prevent his body from naturally ageing and hence preserve his youth! Much in the same way as Wolverine's healing powers do. And if that was the case, then Tech's gonna be around alot longer than his team mates! Tho' i don't think his powers would ever be revealed to give him that kind of immortality on the show, but i like to imagine.

BUT! If you can recall correctly... The Mayor was presenting the Loonatics the award NOT because they'd been fighting crime for a year, but because it was the anniversary of the meteor's impact... And the Loonatics DIDN'T band up together straight after the meteor hit, because in 'Menace of Mastermind', Tech stated that the goings-on between him and Mastermind happened "a few months before Zadavia put the team together"... We should assume that this was AFTER the meteor hit, as such a catastrophic even would require recovery time... So maybe when the Mayor presented the Loonatics that thingummy, they'd only been doing their job for a few months... Therfore, When Duck later stated that they'd been "working together for a year", it actually WAS a year by that time...

ep 6 wasn't necessarily 1 year after ep 1. it could be they got their powers and met each other a few months before ep 1. How much time between eps can vary. Some may be just days apart, others weeks apart, some may be months apart.
