METEOR!!!

In school today, there was this small talk about a meteor!!!
Long story short, in about 29 years, a meteor will come close to the Earth. There's a slight chance that it will enter the Earth's atmosphere. If it does, 80 years after, it will crash into our planet resulting in tsunamis and earthquakes which will result in the wipe out of the entire human race.
When I heard this, I was like (a) Woooaaaaahhhhh and (b) the guys at LUO are going to love this.........
Well, it was 656 years too early, but I guess if a small piece of the meteor hit earth and started "knocking it off its axis," then "this cosmic event" will release "supernatural forces unleashing a new kind of hero; the Loonatics."
XD Just a thought...
No worries. Scientists are trying to find ways to hit the meteor so that it will change its course and avoid Earth alltogether. Although it IS an interesting concept.....

I remember hearing something about this meteor before too. I just hope the worst case scenario doesn't happen! Somehow i think it's unlikely that we'll all get super powers when a meteor hits Earth! More likely we'll all just be dead... Although, it's cool to imagine, hmm...

Wasn't there a topic about this before?

I keep thinking up of this solution -

gather all the trash on Earth, gather all nukes and stuff, use trash to fuel rocket carrying nukes to space, have nukes detonate the meteor, all done. And if the meteor still comes if we do that, less chance of wipe-out and more chance of superpowers.

But no one listens to me anyway.

what if me,the oddity,black oracle,akira,matian girl and zadavias spirt got sucked into a wormhole
and was sent to acnetropolis,i would be a bunny,eh oddity would be an oddity(what ever that is)black oracle would turn into and oracle,matian girl would be a martian and zs would be a spirt,(not likely to happen though go into acnetropolis and becoming loonatics or at least meeting the although it would be cool)

How about an old-fashioned Greek chimera, a lion/goat/snake that can breathe fire, or perhaps a Japanese nue, a monkey/raccoon dog/tiger/snake that can turn into a black cloud and fly?

Hmm, an aquatic animal...  Is there something about you and Adolpho you'd like to share with us?
