the FDA has ruled that cloned meat is safe to eat.
in light of this, would you eat cloned meat?
let me say for myself, the anwser is no. yes, sure, it's declared safe NOW. but who knows,no problems may surface untill like ten years later. i'll stick with non cloned meat thank you.
well..i might eat it and maybe animal rights activists will support it but maybe we should save that practice untill the last generation of cows are left, that way we can see if there are any problems with it.
I'm a little late to this, but I say yes, because we have been eating cloned meat and vegetables and fruits for years now without any side effects. We've all consumed it, because undoubtedly something cloned must have sneaked into our food supplies.
Cloning is (at its core) nothing more than replacing the nucleus of a "baby" cell with an adult cell. No altering is done--the only risk we have is that the newly created (or cloned, rather) cell might be unstable. And if it's unstable, there could be some potential harmful side effects.
But look at it this way. Dolly outlived the sheep she was cloned from.
My classmates did a presentation on cloning. They found out that Dolly was named after a person named Dolly, who was well known for her large 'endowments'. XD
I don't feel like eating cloned meat right now. I want ice cream. XD
