I just had one today at 3:30. Got hit by a car, yessir. It was my fault mostly, I wasn't crossing at a crosswalk, and bam. I was hit. Yeah, funtime. Was taken to the hospital and had to wait for about 3 hours. My parents came in and my mom was really distraught. I felt really bad, but it was nothing serious, a few scrapes, a few bruises. I just need to take Tylenol for the pain and such. So yeah, that was pretty much my day since 3:30. Had to wear a hospital gown, so glad to be back in pants again XD So don't worry too much about me you guys, I've got enough people worried about me as is *chuckles*
That happened to a kid right outside my school. He was crossing the street when he got hit by a car. And school had just ended so there were lots of kids outside heading home. He still has a scar from it.
What a way to spend the day huh? But at least your alright. Get lots of rest.
Oh gosh! Cheri you poor thing! What a close call! You're very lucky that you weren't seriously injured! You need to be more careful in future when crossing the road! *Hugs Cheri too.*
Heh, thanks guys. I've got to head out to school soon, which I'm not exactly looking forward to, considering it was the end of the day, and like...all the school saw me on the sidewalk crying, so they're gonna be all like: 'OMG YOU GOT HIT ARE YOU DYING LOLOLOLOL?' Loathe high-school students, but if I get it over with today, I'm sure it'll settle down over the weekend.
Damn, that sounds very painful. I've been in a car accident once before, but nothing bad happened to me. I'm glad you're okay, Cheri! [hands you candies and flowers] Feel better! :)

Glad to hear you are all right, I also had near death experience before. It was at my school and I was waving goodbye to my parents and a car just stopped in time before it hit me.
I had two. On a trip to the Grand Canyon, my dad, sister and I went off onto a trail that literally had us only inches away from falling off the edge We made it out all right thankfully, but we found out later that what happened to us was more frequent than we thought. . .and that a lot of people never make it out. O_O
Another night I was late for a meeting in Manhattan. I was on an island in the street waiting for the light to change. It turned green and I walked to cross when a car zoomed past and nearly ran me over. Luckily, a man pulled me back before I was hit.

Me, my sister and my mum were just involved in a motorway accident today! My sister was driving and she started swerving and lost control of the car. We spun over 180 degrees, crossed into the path of another oncoming van (which we luckily didn't collide with) and finally ended up backwards on a grass embankment! Thankfully, none of us were hurt! We were all wearing seatbelts. But my sister's car is a mess now! One of the front wheels looked like it was about to drop off literally! And the bumper's gone for sure! My mum was very shaken. We had to wait by the roadside for a good 2 hours before we could head home. Highway Agency came to see to us and all.
People, i just want to stress the importance of wearing seatbelts here!
