Part 2

“she looks so different so different in and out of uniform,” Ace thought to himself, “When shes in uniform she looks fearless, tough, independent, someone who didn't need protecting. But now, in her pink night clous, shes so, so vornable, defenseless, some one who needs a protector.”
“Me,” Ace whispered, “I wont to be her protector.” After saying this Ace removed his arm from behind his head and plast it around Lexi. Unconsciously Lexi curled up closer to him.
Ace smiled and cloused his eyes. He started to think back over the resent events that lead up to where he was now, and how his secret affairs with Lexi all started.

The loonatics were in the heat of combat. There new enemy, The Tamer, had released most of the animals from the AcmeZoo and, with the help of mechanical whip, taken over the animals free will. Luckily, do to there humane qualities, the whip could not tack over the loonatics free will.
“Tech!” Ace yelled jumping over a very angry rhino “Is that F.W. Invention of yours ready yet?!”
“Almost Chief! Rev run back to H.Q. And grab the F.W.s molecular badary!” tech yelled from behind a bolder where he was fixing the F.W. Which had bin crushed by a hippo.
“Okee-dokee- Tech-be-back-in-three-point-two-seconds.” Rev seed speeding away from a pack of Lepereds which where wondering where there pray had gone. The rest of the team was having there own problems. Slam was rodeo riding on the back of very angry Elefint. Duck was quaking back and forth from the claws of a grizzly bare, and commented sarcastically “You need a breath mint, PEW!” Lexi was dogging the distasting “things” a group of monkeys where throwing. Ace was now edging his way closer to Tech waiting for the F.W. To be handed to him.

Part 3

Rev came speeding back with a small rectangular device and handed it to Tech.

“That was not 3.2 seconds, Rev.” Tech commented as he applied the badary.

“Ok-I was-2.4-seconds-off.-I-didn't-expect-a-traffic-jam-and-besides-I-was-rely-rely-rely-close-and-”

“Hay! If you two love birds are quit done can I have the F.W.!” Ace seed in an argent voice. Tech stopped bickering with Rev and toed the weapon to his leader. Now, with the F.W. In hand, Ace quickly ran over to where Lexi was still facing the monkeys.

“Okay guys no more monkey bisness.” Ace said, firing a blue wave from the gun. The monkeys insistently stopped there hostile jester. Lexi waked over to Ace.

“Gross...I hate monkeys. Thanks Ace I-” Lexi's sentens was cut short and replaced with a scream of pain and the crackle of a whip. Lexi falls to the ground.

“Lexi” Ace yelled out in terror.

Lexi trys to get back up but falls back down and goes out cold.

Part 4

With anger in his deep blow eyes, Ace spins around to find who Lexi's attacker was.

The Tamer, A tall dark haired and skinned man with ere purple eyes, riding an African elefent was what Ace gazed upon.

With a sinister grin the Tamer spoke “My whip may not be able to tack over your free -will, But it can tack out your weakest-link.”

“Weakest-link!? Lisen Doc, if you where talkin' about Duck I could agree, but no one calls my seconded in command da weakest-link.”

Ace finished with rage in his voice. Ace tossed the F.W. Back to Tech, pulled out his sowered and sliced the wipe in hafe. Duck, who had managed to get away from his bear-friend and was now annoyed by what Ace had to say, fired one shot of Glucose Jell and trapped the Tamer.

With a now more worried face Ace ran over to Lexi. He flipped her on to her back and sort of sat her up.

“Tech an' Idea whats wrong?”

Tech waked over and looked the unconscious Lexi up and down.

“Well Ace I'd say shes jest unconscious.” Tech seed a little worried himself.

“Ok'e dokee then. Tech you and the others finish rounding up the loose zoo pets and get Mr.Tamer in his cage.” Ace piked up Lexi “I'm gunna get Lex back to H.Q.”

“Sher thing Ace.” Tech said in a more cheery tone.

Ace got to his feet, with Lexi in hand, turned his back to Tech and headed back to H.Q.

Ok i know this part is kind(well is) short. it was ment to be part of part 4 but i felt 4 had a good place to stop.

Part 5

Ace carefully layed Lexi down in her hammock. He looked around the room. Felt a little uncomfortable standing there with Lexi asleep and himself really having no permission to be there.

He had no idea that in the short time to fallow her room would fell like the right place to be. Ace quikly decided to retret back to the door, jest be for he closed the door he Felt like he needed to tack a last glans back at Lexi. So he did.

Ace Felt a little wired and he could pin point why. So to clear his mind Ace ventured out in to the living room to meditate.

Part 6

When Lexi came throw she sat up and took a few minuets to relies where she was. The last thing she could remember was falling to the ground and Ace yelling out her name. She looked at the built in clock on her uniforms left arm.

4:26 P.M.

She stud up and rubbed her lower back, it was stinging a little. Lexi waked down the hall and stopped right before entering the main room. Lexi looked at her friends and the seen that fell before her. Rev was at the air hokey table playing a fast pace game agents himself. Slam and Duck where arguing over what looked like a box of cookies. Tech was at the kitchen table reading some science book. Ace, as usual, was in the living room meditating. Ans to T.V. Was on a commercial break. Lexi fully came into the room smiling. Ace opened his eyes and turned his head to the smiling Lexi.

“Lexi, Your awake!?” Ace said joyfully, getting up and waking over to her.

At the sound of Ace's words every one dropped what they where doing and went to see if she was all right. Slam literally dropping the cookies he was holding over his head and the duck who clucked on to it, landing in a loud thump.

Slam lets out a loud grumble and “Lexi Okay?”

“Ya-hay-Lex-are-you-okay-you-scared-us-there-for-awhile-and-your-good-right-I-mean-that-was-a-pretty-bad-hit-you-took-and-all-and-even-”

“Rev! Maybe you should give her a minuet to speak.” Tech interrupted his fast tacking friend.

“Ya Lex, are you okay?” Ace said trying to hid the worry in his voice

. “I'm fine, my backs a little sore but nothing I cant handle.” She said joyfully.

Jest thin Zodavia appeared in her holographic form.

“Congratulation on a nether job well done Loonatics.” Zodavia said as the six heroes gathered around “The Tamer is pout away, the animal safely recaptured, and Lexi I'm glad to see your up after that insentient.”

“ya well its gonna tack a lot more thin that to get this bunny down.” Lexi looked away and made a small face of pain. Her upper back had a sudden stinging pain.

“well I'm glad you cam out all right”

“all most all right” Lexi thought to herself.

“you all deserve the rest of the day off. Zadovia out” Zadovia finished and the hologram dissapered. The Loonatics spent the rest of the day watching rented moves.

That night Lexi couldn't sleep much, the place where she had bin wiped was starting to bruise. Every time she layed on her back she would whack up from pain and readjust on to her side, but having a hammock for a bed didn't help at all. At 6:00 A.M. She decided jest to get up, after all it was only an hour earlier thin when she, or any of the others, usually got up.

As she journeyed in to the kitchen, still in her night clous, she was surprised to see Ace all reedy there drinking some coffee.

Lexi walked in and poured herself a cup of coffee. Ace looked up at her and was taken back a little by how tired she looked. Ace to was still in his night clous.

“Didn't get much sleep?”Ace asked as he read an article in the paper

“Huh? O ya. How bout you? Your up early, and you look a little tired your self.” Lexi replied as she terned his direction and sipped the morning brow.

Ace actually had jolted awake from a nightmare. He couldn't remember what had happened in the dream. All he know was that it was bad and that he had it every time one of his team mats got seriously injured. Except for Tech, but Ace figured that was because Tech could heal and the others couldn't.

Ace sipped his coffee and thin answered Lexi “Something whock me up,don't know what” That was a lie “Tried to go back to sleep but couldn't.” that wasn't.

Lexi gave him a small nod and sat down. Ace saw that Lexi was slowly leaning back on the chair, obliviously trying to avoid something. He decided it wold be best not to say any thing and went back to his paper. Lexi leaned forward for a nether drink but this time she when backwards to fast. As the bruise on her back touched the chairs she immediately jolted forewords and leaned on the table. Her eyes where shut tightly as she reveled a face of pain.

Ace looked up, eyes wide, and a all most scarred look.

“Lex are you all right?”

Lexi looked up at him “I guess that whip yesterday did more damage thin I thought.” She sits back up, keeping her back away from the chair. Ace kept looking back and forth between his paper and his friend in pain. He set down the paper, got up, made his way over to Lexi and said

“Maybe I should have a look.”

Lexi shrugged and positioned herself to where Ace could get to her back. Part of Lexis shirt was ruffled up so Ace could all reedy see part of her lower back. What he saw tho wasn't her usually peach colored fur but instead it was a purple and blow color. Ace started lifting up the shirt following the color difference all the way till there wasn't much shirt left to lift.

“Um...Ace?” Lexi said holding the front of her shirt down so the frontal few of her body was covered.

“Lexi, theres a bruise on your back ranging from your left shoulder blade” Ace placed his index and middle fingers on her shoulder blade where the bruise started. Lexis heart suddenly started to pound fast. “all the way...to...there.” Aces fingers fallowed the mark from the start on her shoulder down to the end on the bottom right of her lower back. Ace set her shirt back and walked back in to Lexis eye site. Lexis heart went back to its regular rate.

“No wonder it started to hurt.” Lexi commented

“you know Lex I could help you with that.” Ace said sounding almost shy.

“What do you mean?” Lexi asked not knowing how he could.

“I'll show you what I mean.” Ace said rubbing his hands together and waking ones again to her back.

“Mite wont to brace your self. This mite feel...err...awkward.”

All right I have finish 8 and started work on 9

Part 8

Ace had quickly slipped his hands under her shirt and placed them firmly on her upper back. Lexi, taken back by the Aces sudden movement, clucked the bottom of her chair to stop herself from falling back on him. There was a big different between his two fingers and his two hands. Lexi thought that his hands being there would make her back muscles immediately tighten, but instead the warmth was relaxing it.

She could felt, fore the second time that morning, her heart start to race. Ace removed his hands from her upper back, rubbed them together again, and placed them this time on her lower back.

Lexi, when listening to his hand rubbing together, she heard some thing else. Now she didn't know who's heart was beating faster, the one rapidly beating in her chest, or Aces, who's was beating as fast if not faster thin hers. If she could of seen Aces face she could of seen how extremely nerves he looked.

Ace was wondering why. Why did he fell so nerves? Why was his hart about to jump out of his mouth? Why was he so egger to do this? Ace had no answers. So he decided jest to concentrate on what he was doing and started to rub the aria around Lexis bruise. Lexis was the one now to start asking.

“Why doesn't this fell...fell...fell Wrong?” Lexi thought “If it was Duck, Rev, Slam, or Tech I would have given them a Brain Blast by now. I'd probable would have given them one at the very thought. But right now...Why doesn't it fell, besides a little awkward, uncomfortable, wrong, like it shouldn't be happening. Why douse it fell ......... right? Why is Aces hart racing? Why is mine? I know I've all ways had a small attraction for him but this, I don't know what this is.”

Lexi stopped thinking about these questions and closed her eyes. Ace rubbed the line of bruising several times before returning back to his set. Lexi leaned back on to the chair and made a tiny smile, for it didn't heart. Seeing Lexi smile made Ace fell a strange happiness. There was an awkward silents in the room. Nether of the two would look up. Lexi stared at the table and Ace kinda toyed with his coffee spoon, stirring the dark liquid in his cup.

“Th-Thank you.” Lexi said braking the silents.

“Your welcome.” Ace replied looking up.

“Where'd you learn that?” Lexi asked out of peer curiosity.

“Ehh, Lets jest say when your a stunt double you find ways to help with bruising, aches, and other wounds.” Ace smiled. Jest thin Lexi remembered that Ace had bin a stunt double for two years before becoming a hero.

“O... Best not strain, over work, or hurt your back again for I'd say da rest of the day. Or it could start hearting wheres thin when you woke up. Trust me, I learned that the hared way.” Ace added

“O...and how did you learn.” Lexi said

Ace let out a small laugh he told her a story of his old years as a double. The one story led to others and so the two toled each other stores of there past. Stores that they had never really shared as Loonatics. There conversation stopped when the others started to wake up.

As the week whent by both, Lexi and Ace, got up an hour earlier thin usual. They'd spend the time tacking about things they wouldn't tack about with the others. They where stores of there past and personal life. Ace learned that Lexi had to go to speech lessons at the age of 6 and Lexi learned that at the age of 10 Ace's parent had died in a car crash and he was pout into the foster system.

It's cool to know that they are getting to know each other better. More then just as teammates.

Lexi having to take speech lessons at the age of six is just like me!! I had to do the same thing and I hated it!

Aaaaaw, poor Ace! Being in an orffinage like Duck, that must've been hard for him to indure. I feel so bad for him. This morning I sorta had a dream that Ace had a flashback to when his mom died when he was very little. It was soooo sad that I woke up crying and wrapped up tight in my blanket. I wrote it down and it still gives me the shivers just thinking about it. -shivers-

But nice chappie! Can't wait to read the next one!! biggrin

Ya i misunderstood it. I do know what a fostering system is, it's just an orfinage popped into my mind too fast and i guess i typed it down before my brain even registered it. i'm wierd like that.

And... Ace WASNT ALONE!!!! OMG OMG OMG!!! He might have a sister or a brother or both or just a friend who was in the same home he was or....

Noooooo!!! This is gunna be in my head all day!!! I'm already going nuts trying to remember what little people are called!! My sister made me watch the Wizard of Oz and when the munchkin peoples started singing all I thought was "What are short people called?"

Same here. biggrin

Ever since I started here, i think three months ago, four of my grades went down and once my mom saw, she gave me a looong talk about how school comes before the computer. I still got on the honor roll though. biggrin

Lucky too. If i hadnt, my mom would have took away the computer! cry

It's not our falt though. It's just that this site has so much interesting stuff to occupy us and we just like to....relive and think the topics over at school when there is something boring and uninteresting happening. It's happened to me way too many times to count.

I started getting ideas for TF at the worst times possible during the school day and i always forgot them later on, so I got a little notepad that I take everywhere with me, just in case. It's helped alot, probably not for my class notes though!

Part 9

The week went by kinda dull. There where no new missions or any real problems of any kind. The only interesting thing to happen that week was that Ace and Lexi had bin privatively tacking in the mornings.

Sins it was Saturday and nothing had come up that day the Loonatics decided they'd all go out clubin in the western side of Acmetropalis. They had all found a table and where in a random conversation.

“And that when Duck finally realized he didn't have his uniform on and was standing there in his boxers!” Tech had finished telling a story of one of his and Ducks trips to the supper market. The hole table had bersted into laughter.

“Tech, your despicable!” Duck said very annoyed. Every one still laughing hared.

“You know Tech you really are a DOG!” Duck said with anger and stood up noking his chair to the ground.

At this comment every one stopped laughing and Tech was letting out a low growl. Tech stood up as well, the two ready to go one on one at any minuet. Lexi, quickly thinking, stepped between them. Now she stood in the middle of them, her hands on there chests to stop them from moving forward.

“Chill guys. Duck we where only having some fun. And Tech, you, me, and every one knows your a coyote not a dog. Duck was only trying to get to you.” Lexi terned to address Danger Duck directly “duck if you mack a nether comment like that you leave hear with very few feathers.” Lexi sat back down and crossed her arms.

“This was suppose to be are day of, some thing that rarely happens these days, but if you two wont to ruin it by all means continue.” Lexi said with a hint of sarcasm.

With that Tech and Duck retook there sets. As the two silently sat down the DJ started to play a new Hip-hop song. Rev started listening to the song and came up with a way to end the sudden tension.

“Lexis-right-it-is-are-day-off-so-I-vote-we-all-hit-the-dance-floor!!”

The Loonatics smiled and said there agreement. As Lexi started for the dance floor she saw that Ace had stayed seated, so she turned back to him.

“You come 'in Ace?” Lexi asked

“Na, you guys go on with out me. I don't fell much like dance 'n.”

Lexis face fell a little “You sher?”

“Ya, I'll be fine.” Ace gave her a big smile

“All right.” Lexi joined the others

Ace stared down at the orange soda he had ordered. His mined kept wondering off on him. He looked back up at the dancing figers. His teem mates had blended in to the crowd. The club was full of humans and Anthros alike. He straitened up in order to see above some of the people hopelessly seeking one in particular. The crowd thinned a little making the one he was looking fore visitable.

Part 10

Ace stared at the dancing Lexi, and went deep in to thought.

“Why cant I get her out of my head? It was Monday I helped her with her back, and now its Saturday. But...still..that moment...I.” His eyes started to followed Lex. “Her dancing has such a...a... sexual felling to it........So Ace, Most off the girls in the room do. But Lex....its a pity shes dancing alown. And yet I'm glad shes not dancing with one of the guys hear......Come on Ace get her out of your head! JEST STOP THINKING ABOUT HER!....But...o man I can't, all week I haven't bin able to. I think about her even when I'm meditating. What are these feelings? I can't act on them...............Can I?”

“Ace?” Lexis voice penetrated his thoughts.

His eyes had widened as he suddenly jolted up and out of his confusing thought. Aces sudden jolt made Lexi jump back a little. Throw all of it Ace had not notesed Lex as she had stopped dancing and walked over to her dear leader.

“O, hay Lex.” Ace said rubbing the back of his neck embarrassed by his reaction.

“Ace why do you do this?” Lexi asked him with concern.

“Do what?” Ace asked staring up at her in confusion. Lexi took a set besides him.

“Its are day off and all you can do is sit heir in thought. Come on Ace, loosen up and have some fun. I mean everyone ells has.” She pointed to the dance floor.

Ace fallowed Lexis finger to see Slam and duck dancing with some women. Rev and Tech where in conversation with some female Anthros, Tech looking a little embarrassed but still showing a broad smile. Ace smiled, looked up at Lexi, and shrugged.

Lexi smiled back, having an idea pop into her head, stood up leaned in tores Ace and said “You listen hear, Ace Bunny, I'm going to mack sher you have fun to night!”

Lexi grabbed Ace and pulled him out to the dance floor. Ace, cut off garred, had no chows but to fumble and fallow. They at first only dance next to each other not together, but the music kept on plaining Lexi had found her arms around his neck and Ace found his hands on her hips, the two hip-hopin' together.

When the music went quiet the Lexi and Ace found them self pulled together by them selfs and the other, both their lower and upper torsos touching, and starring in to each others eyes. Aces blow sapphires vs. Lexis green emeralds.

As Ace stared back into her eyes, that had their regular twinkle, he saw her kindness, happiness, strength and her chillness. The things he always saw in her eyes, and much enjoyed. But their was some thing ells in her eyes, a feeling of sorts, her eyes where soft with a feeling of a type of happiness. Different from any he'd ever seen in thous emerald eyes.

Lexis expretion suddenly changed. The felling Ace saw vanishing. Lexi blinked a few times and her eyes brook a way from his, she jest reliesing what had jest happened. Lexi started to walk away with out saying a word, and heeded for the stares that lead to the buildings upper deck where 3 balconies leaned out over the sidewalk out side.

Ace stood their, dumbfounded, for a few more seconds before he to relied what jest took place, and tacking off after Lexi. When Ace had cached up Lexi was standing at the railing of balcony 2 looking up, the noon sky that they had entered the club in had changed in to the stare night.

Ace leaned on the railing with his back, his arms up on top of the bar, and on the right side of Lexi.

“There beautiful. Aren't they?” Lexi said still staring up. Ace was staring at her eye.

“Ya...I mean...what?” Ace had whispered the first three words.

“The stares. My Pa and I use to look at them together.” Lexi terned her body to face him, stared up a couple extra seconds before terning her gaze on Ace.

Ace looked up at the sky to see the billions of twinkling lights. Ace looked at Lexi and, there it was a gen that softness in her eyes. They where so luring. Lex tilted her head a little to the left making it even more irresistible. Ace didn't quit know how it happened, who made the jester first, who leaned in first, all he know is that it happened.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!! CLIFFHANGERS! ICAN'T STAND THEM!

Apart from the spelling, the description in each scene is very detailed which helped me picture all this in my head, the Loonatics act how they would naturally act (especially Tech with his embarrased yet broad smile), and you pulled me right into the story as though we can see what's happening. I'd say you're a very talented writer there Siamese. Nice story. I hope there will be a kissing scene. evileye
