Tough one for me. I like Star Fox, Sly Cooper, Legend of Zelda, Ratchet & Clank, and the Jak series. But, I know none of the other choices are my favorite, although if there was no "Other" then it`d probably be Mario.
You put in Mario and forgot to mention his number one rival, Sonic? Mamma mia! I'm offended! =P
I voted other because I'm into Sonic the Hedgehog. I'm an obsessed fan since well over a decade and even though the recent titles blew, I think I'll remain a loyal fan until the end of my days. I've always been more into the character, rather than the games anyway.
So, what Sonic continuity`s your favorite? Me, I like SatAM (and by extension Archie)`s setting and characters best, but I`d prefer if they were in the games themselves, although I`ve heard that the recent Archie storylines are also blowing, especially since Archie had that Sonic in Space arc a while back. Personally, I`d like to see a reboot for SatAM`s characters; start the story over, and throw in a few twists.
Interesting little fact: The cancelled game Sonic X-Treme was originally going to be called Sonic Mars, and feature elements from SatAM (such as the Freedom Fighters being playable).

SatAm, no doubt. It was what got me into Sonic, so I guess that's why a bad game doesn't really bother me. Sonic's old design doesn't appeal to me anymore, because I really like the new look (taller and much more aerodynamic, which is only appropriate), but SatAm will always be the best setting to me. The story was great, the atmosphere was great, the enemy was freaky and truly hateful and back then the characters' designs were wonderful.
I liked the Archie comics back in the days, but now it has really lost it's charm. The whole love triangle, and general soap opera elements, really killed my interest for the comics. It's no longer about Sonic and his friends, it's about the whole village (which is nearly becoming a city u.u) he lives in. The story should revolve around Sonic, not the minor characters that don't even matter. Like that mongoose couple.
I'm a Rockman fan all the way! XD Specifically Rockman Classic. I also like the Seiken Densetsu series.

I'm a Halo fan all the way. Plus a fan of any good shooter such as Quake, Hale-Life, Lost Planet, Alien vs. Predator, Bioshock, Shadowrun, Star Wars Battlefront...I could probably go on listing a lot of shooters for a while.
