That's like saying 'blondes' have more fun' which is untrue. They actually have more trouble!
But it depends. There's ups and downs in both genders, and both get to have their share of fun and problems in different ways. You know what they say, you're never happy with what you have. Not that i'm not happy being a female, don't get me wrong. But sometimes I just really want to experience things from a male's point of view and body.
I hear ya Ayelet. Sometimes, I just wanna be able to put on mascara whenever I want to, and not be laughed at. And I wanna twirl in a dress ;_; but I can't
Heh, looks kinda like the guy-to-girl ratio at JMU. We're at 35/65 last I heard.
Ayelet: I often wonder how a female point of view might alter my perception of a situation, though I can't say I'd actually want to find out first-hand. Maybe if it was temporary?
Drak: Shouldn't mascara just look like naturally thick lashes as long as it doesn't clump? I've had to wear mascara for plays before, but I don't see the appeal. Perhaps it was the cumulative effect of liquid foundation, blush, eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick. The eyeliner is the worst, IMO, and if it's old and/or cheap, it can be a royal pain to get off.
I used to want to do that when I was little. Sometimes I'd wrap a towel or something around myself so I could twirl it.

J_D: I guess I'm luckier then, at least I can occasionally dress like a guy and people won't laugh (they, however, will give me that 'omg beware the lesbian!' look). Not that I dress like that all the time, in general I stick with a unisex look.
Wearing make up is out of the question for me. I touch my face/rub my eyes very very often, I can't resist.
Skifox: Even though I'd like to be a male, I wouldn't change gender just like that. But if a "one week trial" was possible i would definitely go for it, and then who knows. Maybe I'd hate it, maybe I'd love it.
Walks into a room and then I come out a few minutes later.
Yep. I'm definately a girl.
I remember a time when I wanted to be a guy. I tried dressing up as a guy and tried to change my name to either Pablo or Ian. But then in the end, I was just happy being a girl. Cos I realised, girls rock!
Haha! In nursing, the ratio of guys to girls was 1:8 XD
Ski - I LOVE eyeliner! I suppose they didn't give you a good make up remover to get that off...
The last time I dressed like a guy was just last week when I got to imitate Justin Timberlake for a performance... XD mind you, it was one of the best performances I've EVAR given... Crossdressing FTW! Ace Bunny, you are mah hero!
I've always wondered why most girls have their mouth open when applying mascara? It's so funny! The moment they start putting it on, the jaw drops like a reflex!
Girl *waves*. I agree with cheriestar with the makeup thing. I've never liked to wear it, but peer pressure is getting worse. I suppose I must resist the daaawk side.... *insert Star Wars theme*
[checks] I seem to be a girl. A girl who needs more female friends, apparently. XP

Rare for me to be involved on a forum like this, too. But I have my reasons. And the most I've ever done is paint my nails black for Halloween many years ago, since I was a tomcat (not out of emo-ness, thank you).

Nor am I, though technically I still bat for both teams - a minor detail. It's often amusing to watch the shock move across someone's face when they find out, because it comes completely out of left field for most people.
Same here. This is the only forum I check with any regularity, though I am something of a Livejournal fiend. It's handy for keeping in touch with people I only get to see at furry cons.
I'd also like to issue a general reminder that my make-up experiences were for one-act plays and musicals. The closest I get to the stuff in day-to-day life is Chapstick. XP

Makeup drives me up the wall. I can't stand it. My mom made me wear some for my school's grad ceremony, and I could barely keep my hands still, my face was itchy. can barely stand lip gloss. Besides, when you're living out in the country you tend to smell like a barn, so why try to lie to people? LOL ;)
