I signed it!!! #15!!! I also sent a message and the address to my friends via email to ask if they would like to sign it. I put KJ's Clubbin' and the Dance Dance pics in my locker as well as some ep shots (dont worry KJ i dont say that i drew them). ALOT of people are asking about them!! Hopefully this petition will be a hit!!

Yes, please let more people know about this petition! Family or friends or whoever! I know there are about 100 members on this board. It'd be nice if most of us could sign!

Just to let you all know, this petition is active, but still waiting approval. I don't think it should cause any concern for whoever checks it tho'. And oddly enough, i still haven't received any confirmation e-mail when i set up this petition, i'm hoping that's not gonna be a problem.

C'mon people, let's see if we can hit a high mark with our support for the show! 16 signatures on the first day! That's very encouraging!

I, too, am calling shenanigans on the Wikipedia article. If you look at the history page, that edit was made anonymously, with no editor comments and no citation or reference in the article. I'll bet someone is just trying to start a rumor, or perhaps they're hoping that if enough people think there's going to be a third season, WB will feel obligated to do one.

As much as I like resarching via wiki *is chased* I don't often trust it when it comes to stuff like this. Hopefully it's true, but we shouldn't call off this whole petition thing just in case. Hopefully WB will announce it for real sometime soon.

Hmm, well it still says this on the 'Kids' WB' page of Wiki too:

And i'm still thinking of what Gary Miereanu of WB Animation said in his email response to me a little while ago in early April:

"As per your question regarding Loonatics returing to the lineup next season: Kids' WB! won't finalize the lineup for 2007-2008 until early summer, so we don't yet know if Loonatics will air on Kids' WB! in the fall. I can tell you that Loonatics has completed production, and no new episodes are being produced at this time.

If you have any other questions regarding Kids' WB! and/or any of the Warner Bros. Animation productions, please fell free to contact me."

As you all have been saying, until i see an official source confirming a third season for LU, i'm not gonna be putting my entire faith into what it says on the LU page on Wiki. It could have been written by someone who thought that the S2 finale ending was indicative of another season. So, onwards with the petition my friends!

B_O: I think we need to at least hit quadruple figures, and of course more is preferable. We also need to find ways to get the word out beyond our little community here and tv.com.

And too everyone in general: I know you may not feel comfortable using your real names when you sign, but doing so (or at least first name + initial, which is hardly indentifiable) and also providing at least your state/province will make the petition come across to WB as more legit. With only a handle and no other information, there's no way for them to tell whether your signature is real or just someone trying to "stuff the ballot box".

But I'm very pessimistic. At the time we are at 40 signatures. And as Crossfire said we need much, very much more signatures. And I don't think we will get 100.000 signatures to change WB's mind. cry

Someone remember the petitions for a fifth season for Star Trek Enterprise (the prequel series to Star Trek The Original Series)? There were a few petitions with many signatures and Paramount didn't make a fifth season. Here is one of these petitions.

Guys, this may sound like blind hope but maybe the reason why WB may not be doing a 3rd season is because they will be doing a whole new LU series?

Ah yes, quite a fervent effort was made to save ST:E, but its ratings had always been weak and they fell continuously over the entire four year run. However, it's always been my understanding that LU has been a ratings success for WB. Does anyone know how many sigs were on the petition to change the original LU character designs?

Regarding the rumor, I'd wager that's all it is - a rumor.

Yes, i checked the signature list yesterday. It is gradually increasing, though some people signed more than once. Still, we'll be needing a whole lot more supporters before this petition could possibly earn any attention from WB. *Sigh* Keep spreading the word people!

Black Oracle,I know I may be new and all,but I like your idea.
Loonatics unleashed totally deserves another season.
The show is so hot that it deserves more seasons to follow up with the storyline.
It's gold ! Plus having the chance to see Optimatus and Zadavia fighting on the same side.
and helping the Loonatics out whenever they are needed sounds good to me.
