Cali-bunny, I've been reading your analysis(s) (great job by the way) and noticed in the Tech analysis you question the E in his name. I don't know what it stands for in Tech's name, but it stands for 'Ethelbert' in Wile's name.

As for Tech, I have no clue. Theres so many names that it stand for, or it might just be and E. I'm not sure if we'll ever know.

'Ethelbert' is from a 1975 comic book by Mark Evanier.  He has stated that it was not meant to be canonical, and the name has never appeared elsewhere.

The 'E.' could also stand for nothing, just 'E'.  I've certainly seen weirder things done with (real) names.

I always looked at it as Ethelbert... simply because it's the only thing that's been mentioned as Wile's middle name, canonical or not... ^^;

It could also be Edward... Or Ernest... Or Ethanael... Or Ebenezer... Or Edmund.. Or Elijah... Or Emerson... Or Everett... Or... Well, I supose you get that the point I'm trying to make is that we just don't know.

I can imagine it being a really embarassing middle name though... It would explain why he says it as 'E' instead of what it really is... X3

Plus, it would be amusing if after the other Loonatics found out what it was, they would tease him about it at every opportunity. ^_^

Then let's hope Tech manages to keep that middle name under wraps for a good while longer if indeed it is that embarrassing! Tee hee!

I had that middle 'E.' stand for 'Ethan' in my "Transformation" fic. Tho' officially i suspect like the rest of you that it'll probably be something more geeky sounding. biggrin

This actually kinda reminds me of a guy I know...he won't tell his middle name and he forbids teachers from saying it. So my class is always going "TELLLLL USSSSSSSSS" and he always says "no". And if he doesn't say no, he says "Today, it's Jason".

What if Tech changed his middle name every day like that? O: Just to screw everyone's minds up?

I like to think he was named the same as his great-great-great-great-(yougetit)grandfather, Wile E. Coyote. I believe his middle name is Ethelbert. Cause I think it is awesome. XD
