I thought it might be useful to create a sort of resource for fic ideas so new writers could get a good start, veteran writers could find something if under writers-block, and other miscellaneous ideas could be thrown in the ring to see reactions to it or if the person with the idea isn't sure they could do it justice.
For example: A mystery story with Tech as Sherlock Holmes and Rev as Watson. (You can use this idea if you want)

[Hmm...I'm in the mood for an unusual fic. It's a slash pairing idea, though, so if anyone is interested...]
[Maybe a "Duv" fic...Wait, that's already been done. Maybe an "Acev" fic...Yeah, that'll do. Anyway, how about this plot: During a mission, Rev gets injured, and someone has to care for him. Anyone interested?]
A detective story with Tech and Rev corresponding to Holmes and Watson has occurred to me before as well Silver Wolf. I did write a fic called "Suspects" before where Tech had to solve a crime to clear his own name which works on the detective idea too.
I've been waiting for my stepmother to buy me the 1st season on DVD so as I can get a better understanding of the LU chaarcters... But I've got some fanfiction ideas in mind, though I'm not going to share 'em in a hurry. X3
I might give the Duxi idea a go; I read a really nice one on ff.net, where ace rejected Lexi so she rebounded on Duck, and found that he really does care. Anyone else read it? I thought it was so awesome!! X3

Your idea isn't bad, but when it comes to writing, I tend to roll for M/F or F/F pairings for one simple reason: a girl could hardly, if at all, make an M/M story fully enjoyable to bisexual and gay guys. Just like a guy couldn't really write a good F/F story. Of course there are exceptions, but I personally wouldn't be able to pull it off efficiently, so I'd rather not walk in that path. A drawing is different, which is why you'll see more m/m pairings from me.
That, and I'm not really a writer. I rarely write and even then I need that special drive, otherwise i'll never complete the 'fic.
But you should indeed try. Practice is what makes one better, my own writings of years ago put me to shame now. Even now I don't think I'm good, but that's normal since we're all our worst critics.

How about "Loonatics: Beta Squad"? Five individuals from the year 2552 (the year that the Halo games took place) are transported to the year 2773 and fight a villain "so powerful that he makes Optimatus look like a muffin" to decide the fate of the universe!
It is a mash-together of: Halo 2, Halo 3, MechAssault, The Darkness, Too Human, and Loonatics, of course.

Back on topic with story ideas, the idea of one of the Loonatics developing amnesia after taking a knock to the head in a battle has occurred to me before. The Loonatic would be somehow separated from the others during the battle and his/her team mates would have to go looking for their missing comrade, only to find that s/he has lost his/her memory (perhaps only retaining fragmented pieces of images in their mind). The Loonatic with amnesia would have to struggle to recall their memories, and s/he in their ignorance and naievity would be fooled by some villains into believing s/he was one of them, thus taking him/her down the criminal path. The general theme of the story would be about what makes a hero a hero? Their memories or their strength of character?
Perhaps a fic about Duck and Tweetums? Duck could be coming to terms with his past (as an orphan and all) and with the possibility of being a parent/guardian to Tweetums, while we also find out what happened to Tweetums' family and how he came to be the last heir to the throne. Not exactly a punch-kick action story, but it could pretty compelling. (And please no "I hate Tweetums" posts.)

For the girl..... I was actually thinking of calling her Lolita. Even though that name has a negative reputation due to a certain book, I think it'll suit her (because we have Lola and Lexi). Also, I kind of like the name....

Well, I think Tweetums is the one in need of the revelations. The trouble with Loonatics having a relatively complex plot (for a kid's show, at least.) is that sometimes, it just plain doesn't have much time to really dwell on the back stories of certain events and characters. I think that happens to nearly every kid's show that has an on-going plot.
That's kind of unfortunate, because I think the writers can get a lot of mileage out of Duck's apparent parental relationship with Tweetums. They just might develop Tweetums more in a possible third season, but I think this summer, I might lose patience soon enough to have time to write a couple fics.

The whole amnesia idea is one that i like to play with with a lot of my fave cartoon characters; although I usually make it so that they are found by some unsuspecting female (lawlz, yes, I haffta), who nurses them back to health while the others search frantically for their friend. Then, when they find him (I always make it a him c(X ), there's the painful separation of the two new found friends... And... I never think of what comes after that...

Well the amnesia idea is up for grabs certainly. I would've written it myself, but i have too many other potential story ideas swimming around in my head at the moment. Feel free to write it Kenny, tho' it sounds like Xtream is going to be doing her own amnesia story too.
You know? I thought of the exact idea with one of the Loonatics having amnesia. I thought Ace could cos I just think he'd be a likely candidate. But who knows who it is depending on who writes the story.

I don't think i'd get rounfd to writing an LU/Swat Kats crossover any time soon Xtream. I have loads of ideas for LU stories but not all that much time to write them. *Sigh*
And Kari, i gotta agree with Kenny that the idea of the Loonatics as lion cubs doesn't strike me as all that interesting.
About the amnesia idea, I had an idea once where Rev got amnesia and he was pretty much Ok 'cept that he forgot who Tech was. ...That was the end of my ideas. Or it could be the other way around. Tech gets amnesia and he was pretty much Ok 'cept that he forgets who Rev is. Whole Coyote/Roadrunner thing. I've got to write a story about the Coyote/Roadrunner thing soon. Just thought the amnesia idea would'v worked for me. Apparently it didn't. XD
I've always wondered what would happen if the Loonatics lost control of their powers. I'm actually in the middle of writting it. *imagines scene where Tech is being chased by pots and pans* *falls over laughing*
