Well, by default I`d choose Ace due to his GSS, but if one disregards that, then I have to agree that they`re fairly well-matched.
Tech is super-smart, can bend metal, and is next to immortal, Rev has a psychic radar and super speed plus flight, Duck can teleport, conjure power eggs and manipulate water, Slam is as strong as a thousand oxes and can spin into a furious tornado, Lexi can shoot lightning-esque energy from her head, leap great distances, pick up subtle changes in sound, and telapathically control plants, and Ace can shoot lasers from his eyes and has infrared laser-lock visual enchancement plus arse-whupping martial arts.
Knowing WB, though, it`d probably be Ace, but maybe not.
Has there been a later episode that displays Lexi using her plant powers again? I've failed to see her use it once since the episode she gained them (though I haven't seen all of the second season), so who's to say they weren't temporary from the drink?

Nah, she hasn't used them since Apocalypso. I also recall pointing out on TV.com that she only manipulated plants that had ostensibly arrived with or been modified by the Apocazons, not the normal flora. It's my personal opinion that her plant control was a one-time gig.

I'm sticking with the same belief. Besides, the plants on that planet held the essence of those people's menfolk in it, so it's safe to assume it was merely a special connection to them.

Well now...this depends on how you ask the question. In a matter of strength, I suppose I'd have to say Ace with his sword and martial arts and all that.
But in a matter of "a crazy melee with the last one standing the winner"...I say Tech obviously, with his regeneration and all that. He's pretty much invincible as people have said before (unless you like....drowned em or something...which brings Duck to mind I suppose).
So...I say Tech. His powers plus his smarts plus some gadjet he could whip out from behind his back at any moment gives him the edge over the others.
WB simply never thought of another situation for Lexi`s plant control. Chances are it was indeed a one-timer, though. Who knows, maybe I could eventually find a use for them...
Anyways, I stand by the opinion that Ace would be the last standing. It would be close between him and Tech, but if Ace had the GSS, he could always imprison Tech or reduce him to ash and seal him in a field of energy too small for his regenerated body afterwards. If Ace didn`t have the GSS, then he`d simply fry Tech then scoop him up in a jar.
Hmmm, Tech-in-a-can...sounds like a fangirl`s dream.
I've always thought regenerative powers gives Tech an advantage in that anyone could reduce him to ashes, but he'd be right back up again in seconds. Plus i think we'd all have to agree that none of the other Loonatics could hope to outsmart Tech. If Tech is defeated, it'd probably be by some unexpected factor in circumstances or by his own mistakes rather than by an opponent. I could be biased in my opinion tho'.
Remember our discussion of Rev having a fire power? I might have a little surprise in store for the raod runner in the future of my stories. But, I should stop trying to raise hype until I`ve actually written some fan eps, so I`ll leave it at that.
I feel sorry for Rev. He has really no offensive attack like Ace Lexi and Duck
I agree. Rev shouldn't only have superpowers, he should have actual attacks and skills. Giving Rev a fire power won't really improve his strength fieldwise. He needs skills because it seems that every Loonatic in the group seems to have at least some fighting skills.

Totally. It seems that everyone in the group except him can do SOMETHING offensively. Even Tech, who can use his magnetic powers to crash metal objects into targets. The most I've seen Rev do is run around really fast to make things crash into eachother, which is so not good enough! D:< He has to be hiding SOMETHING...
Hummmm Rev has a physical attack Kicking his kicks are fricken strong!(watch "Cloak of black velvet") but I still think it's unfair that Rev doesn't have offensive power poor Rev*hugs Rev*and just beacuse I hugged him doesn't mean I'm a Revvie I an Acer fo' life!!!
That was Lexi that was doing all those kicks (unfortunately.) But, it should have been Rev, not Lexi. He did kick in Stop the World, I Want to Get Off. But, that was only once and he was the first one out for it. He definitely deserves to be stronger than he is right now. He's always being portayed as weak and that shouldn't even be. Ace is the leader and he should keep his defence attacks, but the writers are way too bias about it.

Heh, everybody compares an Ace vs. Tech battle as Ace being on top due to his strike sword. Hasn't anyone thought of the fact that it's a metallic object? Tech would have a field day with that thing, using his magnetic powers.

It's pt. 2 of a 2-parter episode story. The Ace vs Tech fight scene is about half way down. The thought of Tech using his magnetic powers to manipulate Ace's sword did occur to me here! And it was so fun writing this fight scene! *Chuckles evilly at the thought of Tech and Ace fighting again.*
I imagine Tech's electromagnetic powers are of a similar nature to Magneto's as you say Shagster. He can create EM shields and according to a description i read before, he should be able to scramble electonics (tho' we've never seen him do that unfortunately).
It seems sensible to me that he could create electromagnetic pulses that would cut off electricity in his palms too. And Crossfire did 1st suggest a while ago the idea of Tech being able to magnetise himself to metal surfaces (ala Spiderman!). Whether Tech could manipulate the Earth's magnetic field and levitate himself like Magneto too can only be speculated.
His regenerative powers also echo Wolverine's accelerated healing capabilities, if anything, molecular regeneration is even more effective and efficient then Wolverine's healing factor!
So in all, theoretically, Tech could well be one of the most powerful members of the Loonatics! If only he didn't rely so heavily on his inventions and attempted to use his powers more often instead, tho' his intelligence and inventive skills are his main strengths too.

Even tho' i agree that Rev in the show does not seem to display any great offensive attack capabilities, i wouldn't underestimate super speed as a powerful weapon if used correctly. His punches and kicks, in theory, should have more force behind them due to the speed with which he launches them. A fast car hits a whole lot harder than a slower moving one! And if Rev can go at the speed of sound, just think at his top speed, he could be cracking windows in his path as he zooms past them! Not to mention his creating whirlwinds, tho' that's probably more Slam's department.
But alas, this is one of the little problems with the show's execution of the main characters. Ace's martial arts and swordsman abilities and laser vision powers are played up to spectacular levels, but the likes of Rev and Tech seem to have their powers downplayed so as not to 'outshine' the bigger heroes. Still, i can't be too fussy i suppose, Tech's still cool to me.
