If there is anyone out there who likes to indulge in creative writing. I wish to ask Have the loonatics ever inspired or influnced your characters or plot?
For me Rev was my insperation to create an entirly new character for my "Defenders of the Planet" story (I've posted some snippits of my screen play but no one will comment on them 'sob')
At first this character was simply a charming but self-centered villian who was obbsessed with having Matoka (the Defender's leader) as his bride (I'll admit this was patly influenced by Tokyo Mew Mew's Kish) but as i thought about it I softend the character and made him less mean and more cheeky and humorous
anyway have you ever had a moment where Loonatics (or any other show) Influnced you?
Yeah. Some LU episodes inspired me to write some fan fics. "With a sound of Fudd" in particular. I wanted to explore why Lexi knew so much about the Fudd bloodline. So that was that.
But some fan fics were inspired by reading different mangas. "The Big Sneeze" was inspired by the manga "Negima!", when Negi did a huge sneeze and stripped off nearly all the girls clothes off. So I decided Lexi had a cold and combined with her powers, she saved the day from the Violet Rose. Also stripping our male members of the Loonatics in the process.
LU has only put me in the mood to write, but to actually base my characters on the 'tics personalities or getting inspiration for certain episodes? No.
[Hmm...Well, the Loonatics have set dynamite to my writer's block and I watched as it went *KABOOM*. So the Loonatics only inspired me halfway. The other half of inspiration would be Tiny Toons; watching episodes 31 and 6 really made me think about a certain character and how they got very little screentime in general.]
[But right now, I'm working on two fics with Bartholomew; a Loonatics Unleashed romance (I need practice with this...) and an angst-y romance Tiny Toons fic.]
Hooray! Before we get started I'll give a guide to the characters so no one is confused
DEFENDERS Jim: Red Squirrel/Human Hybrid Jordan: Jim's girlfriend Squirrel/Human Hybrid Bill: Bull/Human Hybrid Minsk: Mink/Human Hybrid (Hates being called a weasel) Matoka: Team Leader, a shapshifter can morph into 20 differnt animals
Bob: New kid and Bill's half brother! Catfish/Human Hybrid
Tropfor: An Alien (Looks like Kang and Kodos from the Simpsons) Team Doctor and Mechanic
THE AVES: (Aves are are Bird like aliens from planet Ava)
Prince Zander: The heir to the Ave empire, has a crush on Matoka Gear: Zander's sister Revel: A Scribe
OK here go the script
(We pan up to the sky and a large spaceship that looks like a red pea**** flies over the skyscrapers of Manhattan) JORDAN I’ve never seen such a beautiful vehicle in my entire life! (The ship finds a clearing and extends mechanical legs to the ground. ) BOB I think I’ve wet my pants... (The ship lands and out through the chest of the mechanical bird a door opens! A plank is lowered and three aliens walk out. The leader is a green male standing beside him a red female and behind them a slightly shorter blue male with a scroll in one hand and a pen in the other (Apparently he is a scribe) The green one speaks) ZANDER Greetings Earthlings! I am Prince Zander of Planet Ava! This lady beside me is my sister Princess Gear. (The scribe clears his throat impatiently ) ZANDER (CONT’D) Oh yes and of course our faithful servant Revel. (The reporters can not withhold any longer and rush forward bombarding them with questions) REPORTERS Have you ever come to Earth before? Did you get the radio signals we sent out there? Do you know anything about the Roswell incident? (Gear raises her hand for silence) GEAR Before we answer any trivial questions we want to meet the Earthlings who liberated us from the Betta’s tyranny! MATOAKA And we are here! (We cut to the Manimals entering Matoaka is in human form but wearing a masquerade mask to conceal her identity ) ZANDER Wow! I can’t believe it! You really are Ma... (She cuts him off) MATOAKA You may call me Shape Shifter! ZANDER Shape Shifter?! MATOAKA We’re super heroes! We have something called secret identity! GEAR Oh! Then do forgive us. (Zander approaches) ZANDER Tropfor has told us so much about you! Your intelligence, your courage, your cleverness... (Before Matoaka can blink Zander kisses her hand! Zander quickly tastes her fingers with his frog-like tongue and smiles at what he can sense ) ZANDER (CONT’D) We will meet again my little warrior you can be sure of that!
Seeing as I'm just about finished with my plot summary for a Loonatics fanfic, I'd say they have. In fact, it's made me want to continue work on a completely separate story writing once I'm through with this.

This show is what made me start writing stories in the first place.... Well, once I learned that there was a group of people as nutty about the show as I was.. that helped, too... XDDD

Yes, actually 2 shows got me to create this little guy *points to Seth* LU and FullMetal Alchemist XD and Kingdom Hearts inspires me too, but mostly humour stuff XD

Ollete happily whacked Seifer on the head with the enormous key, laughing as he doubled over in pain. "Now, what do you say now?" she asked wickedly. "I'm sorry for slapping you on your butt..." he grumbled, holding the top of his head. "Good boy." she laughed.
Hayner and Pence watched from behind, mouths agape. "Who knew she was so violent?" Pence said, shoving a ho-ho in his mouth. Hayner blushed in embarassment, wondering what the girl would do if he did it instead of Seifer.
