The two where memberes of the Thunder Brother Hood, one of the most fered gangs in Acmetropalis. Kiby to had on blue jens but she also whare a red tank top with a green jacket and black snekeres. They bolth whare tags, similer to arme tags, around ther neeks, the simbole fore ther brother hood.

Kiby also had poweres, she on the other hand had ganed them 3 years ago diring the medior hit. The power to control plant life. Kiby had groun up in the getos. Kiby walked up to whaer Kari was siting and to sat down. They where on the roof of a bilding whaching a few people gather down below, a rumble was about to tack plase.

"Not that bad!? Kiby we may still be fered but now we are week! Theres very few of us now."

"I know Kari! You know I know that beter thin any one! After all I infited the betrayer, Avery Bunny, to the hood! Remember?" Kiby sperted out in anger.

"Sory Kib. Can you ceep your vice down." Kari ereged

"Come on Kari. Time to report back to hood leader." Kiby walked up to Kari and put her hand on on Karis sholder, "Lisen I am sory the rummble is tacking place on the anvercary of his betrale, but you have to stop thinking about Dane and Avery."

The two walked away back to the leder. Meen whill back at loonatics H.Q. Ace, who had fallen asleep on the couch for the 3rd time, was starting to turn.

The whole 'Ace in a gang' thing sounds familiar. I wonder where I've heard it from....-end sarcasm-
Kay, If I' gunna post, might as well make it a part of the story, so.....

"Ace. Sit down. Your not acting normal. You have to relax. And whos Kari? Why haven't you told us about her?" Tech asked gently.

"Guys, I...."

"Please Ace." Lexi murmered.

Ace looked at each of their faces in turn before looking up at the clock. 4:54. Six minutes till it started. He pushed his fingers through his hair as he continued to watch the clock. A minute passed with him saying nothing, just looking over and away from his friends. Finally he came to a decision.

"Please guys, I have to find Kari before she does something she'll regret." He looked pleadingly at them.

Zadavia sighed. "You may go Ace, but bring Lexi with you."

Ace opened his mouth to speak but Zadavia cut him off. "No buts. It'll be safer for you if one of the team goes with you. We'll be here if you need us."

Ace nodded and left the room hurridly, Lexi tagging along at his heels.

Kiby lifted her hand in a golden glow, vines came from the growned raping Lexi and Aces sowred in there coyals. Ace wached this and thin turned to Kiby in disbelef.

"Now now Ace. should we realy start this with a battle." Kib said seeming to like the idea of a fight.

"Kib NO! Pleas!" Kari yelled ones agen trying to get free.

"Kari! why try and protect him? Huh? After all he did betray you as well when he left! Or should I bring up Tommy one agen?" Kib questioned

Kari sudenly stoped her strugle and had a sadened face. Sha looked away as a teer fell from her eye. Ace remembered a old friend of Karis by the name of Tommy and wondered what he had to do with any thing.

"What dous Tommy have to do with dis?" Ace asked

"You remember Tommy dont you Ace?" Kib stared at him, " He was a deer frend of Karis and now, do to your betraile, he is dead."

Kari let out a screm of anger and lifted up her hand. A strang wave of some kined struk Ace nocking him to the growned. Kari was let go as she tyed some kind of band arouned Aces hands.

"You will no longer be able to yous your poweres."Kari told him as she walked over to lexi who had bin let go. Kari tyed the same band around Lexis hands.

"How bout we bring the berayer and his friend to see Roner." Kari seid to kiby

Kari, using a street tacktic to hold the victoms arm behined his back and holding there molth shut, pulled Duck away from the otheres. Duck kikin' and trying to yell.

"Dane come down! Dane!" Kari wispered into his ear.

on the other side of Acmetropalis Ace and Lexi founed them selfs fallowing Ace's old mentor.

"Lexi I'm....sory." Ace wispered to Lexi

"What for?" Lexi ansered

"For getin' you involved with all of dis. I knew somthing like dis was goin' to hapen but I let you come any ways."

.....which rebounded and headed back towards Tech, Rev and Slam.

Rev quickly grabbed the two by their hands and zoomed out of the way of the oncoming attack. Once he stopped, the three took up a fighting stance and were about to attack again.

"STOP!" Duck yelled, running infront of his teammates.

The others lowered their guards for a second, skeptical of what to do next when kari stepped forward.

"Listen we don't have much time." she spoke softly and hurridly.

"Who are you? And why exactly don't we have much time?" Tech asked.

"Theres no time!" she snapped. "C'mon, we gotta leave now!"

"I dunno, shouldn't we wait for Zadavia or Ace and Lexi to come back? After all we wouldn't want them to be worr...." Rev was cut off by kari's angry yet fearful gaze.

"Your not listening!" She muttered. "Theres not gunna be any Ace or Lexi if you don't come now!"

"Tsk, Tsk. Some way to greet old friends" Roner muttered, staring Ace in the eye.

"More like an old enemy." Ace spat, standing (well kneeling) his ground against his former leader.

"You still have no respect for your supieriors what so ever, do you?"

"Wouldn't know since you sure ain't one of 'em."

Gasps and angry mutters burst forth from the surrounding beings. Words like 'betrayer, traitor, low-life and scum' bounced around the room but Ace took no notice. He was used to this sort of thing by now. The noise stopped as Roner rose up and held his hand in the air for silence.

He smirked at the bunny before him and laughed, "Oh how we missed that sarcasm of yours, Avery. But it seems that every time you throw it out, it always comes and hits you in return."

With that Roner kicked him in the stomach. Ace gasped painfully and doubled over as others came and restrained Lexi from getting near the two. Roner looked down at him before speaking. "You see traitor, what goes around comes around. Its called carma. You should really find out more about it before doing another stupid thing." He stopped when he heard Ace mutter something.

"So thats all your gunna do? Kick me in the stomach?"

Roner smirked before kneeling down and whispering into his ear, "Oh no. We're just getting started. Believe me, you'll be in more pain then this when we're through."

Ace was lifted back up to his nees
Roner snaped his finger and the Anthros who where holding Lexi brout her over to him.

"Unbind his hands" roner ordered. As ordered the the rope binding Ace's hands where cut.

"Lets see if Avery has lerned any thing over the years shall we!" Roner a dressing all thous serounging hem now, "Ace you will have a battle with..... Your old mentor Kib."

"This should be fun." Kib said handing her jacket to a neer by gang member.
Ace made a face of anger and was oviasly about to say something but was cut off by Roner

"Oh! and Avery don't even think of yousing your powers." Ha pulled a gun out from his pocket, c-o-c-k-e-d it, and amid it at Lexi.
Aces eyes widened in feir, knowing Roner would do it.

"Very well." Ace said. Ace terned to Kib. Ace had lerned every fighting strgety he know from Kiby, and had never finished his traning.

In the dark shadows cast upon the warehouse ceiling, someone waited. Her red eyes glowed dimly as she witnessed the fight before her. The bat anthro who called herself Erica sat patiently in the rafters wondering when she could step in and obliderate all of the gang members. A freak lab accident had left her impervious to bullets, and at her side she carried a gun with words engraved on the barrel:I am the Devil. And I am here to do the Devil's business.

Beside her on the rafters, her mentor, Krail, waited for his pupil's moment to shine.

Now that her prescence was known, Erica got out her gun and started taking out the gang members one by one. Krail also dropped from the rafters and started shooting also, his crimson eyes darting from anthro to human and back again.

Krail smiled at his daughter, "Thanks," he said.

After the introductions and basic chit-chat was done, the friends in the alleyway turned their attention to the red-cloaked figure leaning against the alley wall.
"So, what led you here place at a time like this?" asked Ace.
Krail's harsh voice echoed off the alleyway walls, "Personal matters."
"Not much of a talker, is he?" Duck whispered in Tech's ear.
Just then, the warehouse exploded and everyone fell to the ground in shock except for Krail who jumped to his feet. He was staring at the mass of fire and for the first time in 20 years, there was a small hint of fear in his eyes.
