Erica quickly ran beside Sam, her chesnut hair flowing behind her. "Wanna have a race?" she asked excitedly. Sam sighed, "Fine, but go easy on me this time." Sure I will, Erica thought, Sure I will... Her sister, Hayley, marked the starting line and the goal which was 2 kilometers away and blew the whistle around her neck to signal the start of the race. Erica immediately bolted and reached the 2 kilometer mark in about 20 seconds, Sam heavily panting behind her. "Like I said before," Yelled Erica to her friends, "only one being can outrun me! And his name is Rev Runner!" and she did a small victory dance. When Sam reached the finish line, she was exhausted, "Aww man." With every one of her footfalls, an array of plants immediately sprouted from the dusty ground. She slowly raised one of her gloved hands and made a fist; Sam slowly opened her hand and a small orchid was now there. Gasping, she dropped the flower and took off her gloves. he was shocked to see soft, white fur covering her hands. Erica opened her eyes and instantly jumped to her feet, but fell to the ground wit ha thud. Frustrated, she tried numerous times to leap up anto the ground, but failed miserably. For her last attempt, she decided to keep her eyes focoused on her feet so she can concentrate on properly stand up. This last attempt unveiled something that she had not noticed before; everytime she tried to stand up, she was standing 3 feet above the ground. On air.
