A lonely Tasmanian Devil child in only a plain white T-shirt and sandy brown shorts, sat crouched in a corner of a small room completely filled with black darkness. The only source of light was a narrow ray of light shining through a small window. The Tasmanian Devil's head was buried into his arms until he heard the door creak from the opposite side of the room. The light that shone through the door blinded the Tasmanian Devil as a figure entered through the door. The crouched child lifted his head to see the familiar figure of a young dingo anthro who was the same age as the Tasmanian devil. The dingo closed the door behind him making the room dark again. He approached the devil and crouched in front of him.
"So how are you today you little monster?" the dingo gave a cynical smile as the Tasmanian devil did his best to give a weak smile, but failed.
The dingo sniffed as he pulled out a lunch box from behind his back and placed it in from of the one he called "Monster". The devil snatched the box eagerly and desperately threw the lid open the lid and started to stuff his mouth full of the food that was inside the lunch box. The dingo gave a chuckle.
"You really do eat like a pig." he laughed as the devil continued to lick in between his fingers caked in rice. "Disgusting."
The dingo decided he had enough and snatched the box away from the devil. The devil licked as much of the rice into his furry mouth. The dingo smirked at him.
"You do realise that's all the food you're getting for today. Unless of course there are scraps left that none of us want to eat." he stated.
The Tasmanian devil withdrew his hands back into his normal crouched position again.
"You're quite lucky I even talk to you, because if I weren't here you'd be alone. No-one else would want to speak to you, cos you're such a monster. A mistake." the dingo taunted. "If anyone saw you they'd run away from you or tell you to get lost."
The devil looked down at his bare feet gloomily. But the dingo gently lifted the devils head and looked at him with his eye contact level.
"But this is why you're in here." He continued. "If people don't know you exist, then they will be much happier and safer. It would suit them more if you lived your whole life in darkness. No-one would want to be friends with you or even look at you."
The dingo got up and started to walk towards the door and opened it once more to blind the Tasmanian devil.
"Lets just face it." the dingo sneered. "Who would ever love a monster like you?"
As the dingo closed the door, the devil looked up to the small window shedding that little bit of light upon him. All he could do was try to imagine what lies outside of that window. ________________________________________________________
Slam slowly sat up on his bed and rubbed the back of his head. He gave a groan as he sat on the edge of his bed. He gazed his head down to the floor and shook his head. He exited his room and approached the bathroom. Slam locked the door behind him and grabbed th sink with his hands and stared at himself in the bathroom mirror. He stared at himself for a minute before he gave a determined frown.

Siamese: We all know he's not. But if you exclude Zadavia, Slam would have 5 nice friends.
Cassidy: I think Slam might crush you with his hug. Not that he means to.
Corey James: You could say that. You have to feel sorry for him though.
Daphne Dingo: PIN PON! That is correct. I wanted to explore the sort of relationship Slam and the dingo guy would have similar to "Taz-Mania"'s Taz and Didgery Dingo. Only I wanted to make the relationship more darker. The most interesting thing is that most bullies would be cowards by bullying someone with a gang of their friends where as the dingo guy in later chapters bullies Slam without a gang of friends. I do wonder why. Most likely explanation, cos he does. _____________________________________________________
Thankies for the comments! And now chapter 2!
Chapter 2
Slam shut the bathroom door behind him walked towards the kitchen.
He walked past the others occupying themselves with different activities. Lexi is reading her unfinished novel, Rev and Duck are playing on the video game on TV, Tech is going through some paper work and Ace watched Tech doing the paper work while sipping the cup of coffee. Slam watched them for a moment and smiled. He opened the fridge door to see what was on offer. A half eaten chicken from last night's dinner to the centre of the fridge. Thinking that it would do, Slam to took the plate with the chicken on and shut the fridge door behind him.
He approached the table and sat down on a chair near Ace. He peeled a piece of meat from the corpse and twirled it in the air in front of his face. Ace gave a sleepy look to Slam as he sipped his coffee.
"Hey. Are you gonna eat that?" Ace asked.
Slam snapped out of his daydream and turned to the rabbit. He then shook his head and dropped the piece of chicken onto the plate and carried it back to the fridge.
"I think I'll skip breakfast." Slam muttered.
Ace and Tech's eyes widened. Slam skipping breakfast? He never skips breakfast! In fact, he doesn't skip any other meal or snack.
"Is there something wrong?" Tech asked. "You never skip breakfast."
"Are you sure you're not sick Slam?" Ace pressed his hand on Slam's forehead to measure the temperature.
But the Tasmanian devil batted his hand away from his forehead.
"I'm fine." Slam tried his best to hide the sad expression on his face.
Ace and Tech weren't falling for that lie.
"Slam. What is wrong?" Tech inquired.
Slam sighed and given up on trying to cover up his act and sat down on the chair again as the interrogators sat down and prepared to listen to his problem. Slam folded his arms across the table and looked down on his arms.
"I had that same dream again." he confessed.
"Same dream again?" Ace gave a puzzled look. "What about?"
"Well... it's kind of... hard to explain." Slam uncomfortably looked away from the coyote and rabbit.
Slam suddenly felt a warm hand on his shoulder. He looked up to see Lexi smiling down on him.
"I think you just need some fresh air." she giggled. "That'll cheer you up. It's our turn to do the grocery shopping anyway."
Slam gave a hesitant smile.
"I guess that'll cheer me up a little bit." he said as he got up from his chair.
"Alright. Lets go!" Lexi cheered.
"We'll talk about this later right Slam?" Ace said.
Slam nodded his head.
"Of course. See ya later."
Ace sipped the remaining puddle of coffee from his mug as the elavator doors closed in front of Slam and Lexi. __________________________________________________
Slam and Lexi came out of the supermarket into the hustle and bustle of people rushing and chatting in the street.
"I think that's everything." Lexi checked inside the paper bags.
Slam gazed at the crowds walking up and down the street. He noticed how hardly any people who was walking close to him seem to ignore him as though he was human too. Whether they were too busy to notice him or not, he felt relieved that the people didn't just stare at his appearance for a moment and then continued on their journey while remembering the image they saw while walking past him. He then looked back at Lexi who gave a grumble.
"Darn! I forgot the bread." she then turned to Slam. "Do you mind if you take these while I go back into the supermarket to get it?"
"Sure." he answered, taking the shopping bags from her hands. "I'll take these back to the HQ while you get the bread."
"Okay. Thanks." she quickly ran back into the supemarket store as Slam started to walk back to the HQ.
Slam casually walked up the street while pondering about the dream.
"I haven't had that dream for a long time." he thought. "What does it mean?"
"Well look who decided to show his face to the world."
Slam turned around to find the voice coming from an alleyway.
"Wh- who's that?" he stuttured.
"Well come in here and you'll see." replied the voice.
Slam cautiously stepped into the alleyway. He carefully looked around incase he was caught by suprise. He then stopped at a dead end and spun around on the spot.
"Alright! Whoever's trying to mess around with me, come out so I can see you!" Slam demanded.
"Alright then. I'll come out."
The owner of the voice appeared from behind a pile of cardboard boxes. A orangey brown dingo in a black, sleeveless shirt, black leather trousers with big, black and silver boots. His dark brown eyes struck fear into Slam like pools of ice as he dropped the contents of the bags.
The dingo approached Slam. On a closer inspection, the dingo had a tattoo of a ring of a black swirly pattern around the top part of his arm and was wearing a necklace with a silver sword with feathery wings spreading from behind it, He wore a pair of black leather gloves in each hand. The dingo gave a cynical smile.
"So you do remember me then?" he replied. How you're doing, saving the world all the time and all?"
Slam gulped before he could answer.
"F- Fine." he stammered. "But if you don't mind, I better be going."
But Dagan blocked him from the exit of the street.
"But we finally get to meet." Dagan said. "And you want to run away from this reunion? That really upsets me."
"Slam!"
The two guys turned to the exit towards the street to see Lexi approaching them.
"I thought you were going to take the groceries back to the HQ." she said.
"I was," Slam started to explain. "But I bumped into him."
Dagan stood to face Lexi and smiled.
"My, my, what a lovely young girl you are." Dagan complimented her. "My name is Dagan Dingo. And I'm sure you have a wonderful name to suit such a pretty girl like you."
Lexi's expression was of confusion as he said this.
"L- Lexi." she replied. "I'm Lexi."
"That is such a beautiful name." Dagan complimented again as he twiddled with the ribbon floating from her hair. Lexi quickly backed away from the dingo.
"Okay." Lexi said apprehensively. "What were you doing anyway?"
"Why, I was only saying hello to him." he answered as he turned to the Tasmanian devil. "I was just saying 'hello' to you, wasn't I?"
Slam looked up and nodded his head slightly.
"Yes. He was just saying hello." he replied quietly.
The dingo then stood close to Slam.
"Now there is something I would like to ask you;" he said as he started to stroke Slam's cheek with his left hand. "Why did you run away from your home?"
Slam froze in fear as the dingo continued to interrogate Slam coldly.
"It upsets me so much that you didn't want to become part of our family, after what we've done for you." he spoke with ice in his voice as he continued to gently stroke Slam on the cheek.
"I think I'm going to have to teach you another lesson. I think I'll have to lock you up in that special room for a day... to show you who you really are."
Lexi noticed that Slam's breathing was getting faster and heavier as the dingo mentioned the "special room". She couldn't take it seeing a friend of her's, having a panic attack. She couldn't help but sub-consciously push Dagan away from Slam as the dingo stumbled but remained on his feet.
"I'm sorry." Lexi said strongly. "We have to get back to the HQ. Otherwise the others would wonder where we are."
Dagan gave a smirk as he turned around to walk away from the two Loonatics.
"I understand." he said in a menacing tone. "I'll see you later then."
Both of the Loonatics stayed where they were until Dagan turned the corner. Lexi then turned to Slam with a face of concern for him. She had never seen anyone look so frightened and scared of someone, especially from a strong-willed person like Slam.
"Who was that guy?" she thought to herself. "Even though he sounded friendly enough, he didn't have a very friendly smile. And what was it about that "special room"? "
Slam then slowly looked down to stare at his right hand as though he was under a trance. Lexi approached the Tasmanian devil with concern in her eyes.
"Slam, are you okay?" she asked.
"I'm fine." he hesitantly answered.
"Are you sure?" she stretched out her hand. But Slam knocked her hand away from him.
"I said I'm fine!" he snapped. But then realised that she didn't mean any harm.
"I'm sorry Lexi." Slam sighed. "I'll go pick the shopping up. I don't think we bought any eggs so the stuff should be fine."
But Lexi was more concerned about the devil's well being.
"Slam. Really, did Dagan say anything strange to you?" she inquired.
Slam took a deep sigh.
"No." he answered. "He really was just saying hello."
Lexi gave a smile of relief as they started to exit the alleyway.
But watching them leave from the roof top, Dagan gave a determined frown as the Loonatics started to walk back to the HQ.
"I was wrong." he muttered to himself. "She has to be the most ugliest thing I've ever met, besides that hideous beast."
He then delved into a small, black, leather bag attached to his black leather belt and pulled out a bottle of surgical spirit. He opened the lid and poured some of the liquid onto his gloves and rubbed the solution on his hands with the gloves on together. He screwed the lid back on and slipped the bottle back into the black bag.
"That's better." he sighed for relief and then glared back at the two Loonatics walking away. "Looks like I'll have to teach them and the others a lesson... and put them in their place."
Slam and Lexi entered the living room in the HQ after the elavator doors opened for them.
They walked towards the kitchen as Tech and Ace noticed their prescence from the dining room table.
"You got everything?" Ace asked.
"Yep." Lexi nodded her head. "Including the bread."
Tech then noticed Slam slowly sneeking off into his room.
"Slam, where are you going?" Tech inquired as he spun round on his chair.
Slam turned to the others with an expression of sadness on his face.
"I'm going in my room... to think for a while."
The Tasmanian devil entered his room and closed the door behind him, leaving the others to gaze at each other in confusion.
"What's going on with Slam?" Ace wondered. "Dinner hasn't even been made yet."
He turned to face Lexi.
"Did you to have a fight or something?" he asked her.
"No." Lexi shook her head. "Slam met someone that I think he'd rather not have met."
"Who was that?" Tech asked.
"His name was Dagan Dingo." She replied. "They didn't fight physically or anything, but when he was speaking to Slam, Slam looked really scared."
"Scared?" Ace looked confused.
"I don't know what he was trying to get across, but Slam was really scared of him somehow."
The two guys faced each other with puzzled looks on their faces. ___________________________________________________
Slam sat against the bed in a crounched position, with his head hanging down to the floor. His sad expression was still on his face. The memories and flashbacks reappeared in his mind that he tried to hide away since his torture first began.
"How are you today you little monster?"
"I am not a monster!"
"Disgusting."
"Why are you doing this to me?"
"No-one else would want to speak to you because you're such a monster. A mistake."
"Let me out! LET ME OUT OF HERE!"
"It would suit them more if you lived your life in darkness."
"Who would ever love a monster like you?"
"Stop it! Please Stop it!"
"I'll just have to put you in that special room just for you... to show you who you really are."
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGHHHH!!!"
Slam loosened his grip on the fur on his head as he heard the alarm blaring.
"Zadavia."
He wiped the hot tears from his cheeks and around his eyes and stood up. He looked at a reflection from a surface of a plastic box and gazed at it for a while before shaking his head.
"I am not a monster."
Slam left his room and reached the meeting room where the others were already sitting around the table with the hologram of Zadavia at the centre.
"Are you okay Slam?" Lexi asked as he sat down in his seat.
The devil just nodded his head and smiled at her and she smiled back. Then they both faced the boss lady.
"Loonatics, there has been some criminal damage done to the supermarket near here." she started. "The suspect is unknown but he might come back to the crime scene."
"We're on it Zadavia!" Ace said with full confidence as her hologram disappeared. "Okay Loonatics! Lets Jet!"
All the other's nodded their heads in agreement as they all ran out of the meeting room.
The Loonatics landed near the supermarket where the police was investigating the destruction. The anthros entered the building and looked around the dark aisles to see if anything was taken. Tech strolled down an aisle with glass and dust scattered around him until he stopped at a particular empty shelf.
"Hey you guys. I think I've found what they were looking for." he called.
The others swarmed to where Tech was standing as the coyote pointed at an almost empty shelf of rice.
"The packets of rice that was there seems to have been stolen." Tech said.
"But why would the thief want to take hundreds of packets of rice?" Lexi questioned.
"Maybe they wanted to make a giant Chinese dish with them." Duck said sarcastically.
"Somehow Duck, I very much doubt it." Ace frowned as he looked down the rest of the aisle. "That's strange. Nothing else seems to have been stolen apart from the rice."
As the others discussed the matter amongst themselves, Slam looked behind him to see if there was anything there. Then from the corner of his eye, he saw a figure. Slam started to sprint down the the aisle and out of the supermarket. In the sunlight, the figure wore a sandy brown, hooded coat with the cream fluffy fur around the edge of the hood, the sleeves and the bottom of the coat. Slam continued to chase the person down the street until they turned a corner into a dark alleyway. The figure finally stopped running when he stopped at a dead end. Slam stopped running as well as he panted to get some air back into his lungs.
"Are you the one who stole the rice from that supermarket?" Slam asked.
"I am." the figure replied.
"Well you can't escape!" Slam announced to the thief. "Remove your hood and come quietly!"
"As you wish." he replied in an unusually casual tone as he turned to face Slam and slowly pulled the hood down.
Slam gave a gasp.
"Dagan!?"
"Yes. I knew you guys would immediately come if I caused a little bit of trouble." The dingo boasted. "After all, you are the super heroes fighting crime now are you?"
"Why did you steal all the rice?" Slam inquired. "It's strange to think that thieves would steal something as common as rice."
Dagan shook his head and tutted under his breath.
"Didn't you realise that the rice is for you?"
Slam's expression changed into utter confusion.
"For me?"
"Of course." Dagan nodded his head. "I knew you used to love rice as a child, I'd thought I'd make you some rice for when you finally come back to me."
"What are you talking about?" Slam demanded.
"Don't you remember why you're known as "The Monster"?" the dingo sneered. "I'm not a monster!" Slam shot back immediately.
Suddenly, he heard pats of foot steps behind him.
"Slam!"
The Tasmanian devil spun around to see the rest of the Loonatics running behind him.
"Is that the rice thief?" Ace asked Slam.
"I wouldn't say I was stealing." Dagan said. "I'd rephrase that as preparing for the rest of the monster's life."
"Monster?" Rev said in confusion.
"Him." The dingo pointed at Slam.
"I am not a monster!" Slam shouted again.
"You are a monster whether you like it or not." Dagan announced to him. "Let me ask you this: who was the one who killed your mother?"
"Don't you dare bring her into this!" Slam bellowed. "She has nothing to with what you're saying!"
"Yes she does," the dingo said. "You just can't hide the fact that you killed her!"
"What!?" the other Loonatics gasped in shock.
"No! I didn't kill her!" the Tasmanian devil's hot tears started to well up in his eyes and trickle down his furry cheeks.
"Don't deny it you monster." Dagan commanded. "She did her best to take care of you by herself. But you pushed her to the end of her wits until she finally put herself out of her misery. She sacrificed everything for you and you just threw it back in her face."
"Shut up!" Slam screamed as he clasped his hands on both sides of his head. "I didn't murder her!"
"I think hanging around with these fools has made you more denyable about everything in your life." Dagan said.
"Stop playing mind tricks on our friend!" Ace shouted at Dagan.
The dingo just laughed as though he heard a punch-line to a very funny joke.
"I can't believe it!" he chuckled. "You actually have friends? A monster like you? That's so funny! Who would ever love a monster like you?"
"Well at least he has friends, unlike you!" Lexi shot at him. "How many friends do you have?"
The dingo's laughter turned into a vicious growl. He charged at Lexi and smacked her face with his fist. Lexi fell to the floor pressing her hand onto the cheek that the dingo just hit. The dingo looked down on her.
"When I first met you, I actually liked you. But since you interrupted our conversation, I despised you ever since. You really are the most ugliest girl I've ever come across." Dagan spat Lexi tried to stand up onto her feet. "And I were you, I'd stay down onto the floor you stupid little bitch!"
He swung his leg and kicked Lexi in the stomach. She gave a yelp before the dingo was held back by Tech and Rev.
"That's enough!" Tech snapped. "You're not gonna use any more physical violence against innocent people!"
"Okay. No more physical violence." The dingo struggled to break free from their grip. "I'll just have to do this!"
Suddenly a yellow light surrounded them as Tech and Rev started to scream out in pain.
"Please! Stop it Dagan!" Slam cried as his tears flooded across his cheeks. "Leave them alone!"
The light stopped glowing as the coyote and roadrunner slided down his body and flopped onto the floor, moaning at the pain. Dagan ran up to the exit of the alleyway and stopped to turn back to Slam.
"See? This is the sort of pain you cause to other people." he sneered. "This is why you should never exist. So when you stop denying those fairy-tale dreams you've had in your head, I'll forgive and forget about your awful behaviour and I will let you come back to me. You remember the address. Right?"
He ran out of the alleyway out of sight.
"We can't let him get away!" Ace said in anger as he was about to run after him. "Slam. Duck. Get the others back to the HQ. I'm going after Dagan."
But before Ace could run, Slam grabbed the rabbit's arm and pulled him back.
"Please Ace! Don't go after him!" Slam begged him. "He'll only hurt you too. And I don't want you to end up like Tech, Rev and Lexi. I didn't want him to hurt anyone else because they didn't deserve to get hurt like this. And-"
"Alright. I'll help you guys get them back to the HQ." Ace agreed. "But we still have to capture that dingo. He could end up hurting someone else."
"He wouldn't unless he was provoked like now." Slam said. "Ace, I'm not being mean but you don't know him like I do."
"Um, a little help here please?" Duck frowned as the other two guys helped the mallard carry their injured friends back to the HQ.
Lexi, Rev and Tech lied on each med-bed unconscious with Ace, Duck and Slam staring down at them in concern. The guilt plagued Slam's mind. Seeing his injured friends lying there, groaning at the pain on themselves. Slam hung his head low.
"This is my fault they're injured!" Slam spoke through his gritted teeth as Ace and Duck turned to face him.
"Slam. This is not your fault." Ace assured.
"It was that deranged dingo that hurt them." Duck added.
"But I couldn't stop him!" The Tasmanian devil cried.
"The thing is, that dingo some how managed to injure Rev and Tech without as much effort as he did physically for Lexi." Ace said. "It was like he electrocuted them or something."
"Do you think he got the powers from the meteor I wonder?" Duck wondered.
"For once coming from you Duck, that's quite possible." Ace answered.
"But still," Slam interrupted. "it was still my fault!"
"Slam. You didn't try to hurt Lexi, Tech and Rev." Ace comforted again. "You didn't do anything."
"But that's just it!" Slam cried out loud. "I couldn't help them! And now they're in this state! I'm a monster I tell you! A monster!"
"Slam you're not a monster!" Ace said.
"You're our friend!" Duck reminded him.
Slam swung his arm as though he was about to hit the rabbit and mallard. Fortunenately they both dodged the attack and the giant hand hit the wall instead, almost breaking through it.
"Slam! Snap out of it!" Ace shouted. "You're not a monster! That dingo is brain-washing you!"
Slam spun around to see his two frightened friends gaze back at him with their eyes wide open. Slam looked at the dent in the wall and then glared at his hands.
"I... I'm so sorry..."
Ace stood up.
"Slam. You mustn't listen to that dingo."
Slam glared at his hands for a little longer before he looked up to his friends. He approached the door and looked back at the others.
"Ace. Duck. Goodbye."
The rabbit and mallard looked at each other astounded.
"Goodbye?" Duck said. "You're not serious!"
"It's best if I don't exist anymore." Slam murmured. "It would be best if you guys never even knew me."
"Slam." Ace whined in concern. "We need you. The team's not the same without you."
"I know it won't be..." Slam sighed. "It will be for the better though."
"That's not what I meant." the rabbit burst out.
"Slam! Wake up to the smell of coffee!" Duck frowned. "That dingo is wrong! He should be locked up or something!"
"But it's me who should be locked up!" Slam repeated. "Look at me. I'm a monster. I'll only go and hurt more people if I stay out any longer."
Slam exited the med room and walked towards the elevator. Ace and Duck caught up with him.
"Slam. Think about this!" Ace tried persuading. "Lexi, Rev and Tech need you as well as we need you."
"And you need us now and again." Duck added.
"You don't need me." Slam smiled. "You guys can handle pretty much everything by yourselves. I'll be fine not existing any more. Goodbye."
Slam entered the elevator as the doors closed quickly behind him. Ace reached out to him.
"Slam! Wait!"
But it was too late to convince him since he was almost at the bottom of the elevator. The duck stood next to him looking down from the window.
"So you think his mind's made up?" Duck asked.
Ace looked out of the window in the horizon.
"I hope not." he replied. "If he goes along with this, then we may never see him again."
Their faces were plagued with concerns and worries as they walked back into the med room to check up on their injured comrades. ________________________________________________________
In a dark, musty room, Dagan was washing and scrubbing his arms in a white sink full of some milky, soapy water, but was still wearing his black clothes. He rubbed a yellow sponge all over his arms as the water seeped over his skin.
Suddenly, he heard a knock at his door. The dingo looked up aware of the sound.
"Come in if it's important." he called. The sound of door opening and closing signalised the fact that the visitor has entered.
Dagan rubbed his arms with a white towel to get them to dry. He turned to the door way to see a sad looking Tasmanian devil looking down onto the ground. Dagan's expression changed from frustration to a grinning sneer.
"So you've come to tell me something then?" Dagan questioned.
The devil nodded his head slowly.
"I... I'm ready to come back to you. I'm ready for my punishment of existing."
The dingo gave a cynical smile and chuckled.
"Come here into my arms." He commanded.
As though he was under a hypnotic trance, the Tasmanian devil obeyed the dingo and rested his head onto the dingo's chest. The dingo's arms wrapped around him but the devil's expression didn't change.
"I was wrong." the devil mumbled. "I was never to exist. And I have commited a terrible crime of existing when I was not to do so."
"But it's alright now." Dagan cooed. "You no longer have to worry about that now. Your punishment for the crime you've commited will now begin."
The dingo started to stroke the top of the Tasmanian devil's head with his right hand. The devil could see a small spot where the stain of blood has not been washed out.
"I really do love you my little monster." Dagan murmured as he kissed the top of the devil's head. "I am only doing this to protect the other's from the cruel outside world."
Not reacting to the gentle strokes and the kiss, the devil nodded his head slowly.
*explodes* Omg This is good. *hugs Slam* I agree, Rye. It's nice for our little devil to get some attention. And Akira, I admire you. You can write such funny stuff, but also really deep stuff like this. Flexa: Unlike somebody I know. Me: SHUT UP!!! Plus, you can write fight scenes. And for that, I admire j00s. Anyway... yeah. Great story. *thumbs up*
Tech and Rev recovered from their injuries after the electric shock. Lexi's physical pain eased but was in no condition of fighting as much as the others.
All of the remaining Loonatics remained in the living room with an uncomfortable atmosphere hovering in the air.
"So you're saying that Slam has gone back to that Dagan guy?" Tech said in a puzzled tone.
Ace nodded his head.
"He said that it was his duty to wipe himself out from existance."
The others looked at each other dumbfounded.
"But Slam didn't do anything wrong." Lexi interrupted. "Dagan was the one who caused all this. Why did Slam think it was his fault?"
"We don't know." Duck shrugged his shoulders. "But something on his face was saying he didn't want to do this."
"Then we have to go rescue Slam!" Rev piped up as he sprung from his seat on the sofa.
"Woah Rev! We can't just barge in there!" Ace said to interrupt the roadrunner's fantasy. "In case that the electric current didn't get to you Rev, you, Lexi and Tech were out for a while. We can't risk another injury being caused by him."
Rev sadly slumped back down onto his seat.
"We need to approach the dingo with extreme caution." the rabbit continued as he turned to Tech. "Tech. Do you think you can make an up-grade to our normal uniform so that we wouldn't conduct that dingo's electricity?"
Tech nodded.
"Of course."
Lexi stood up from her seat.
"I'm coming too." She announced. "I was the one who provoked Dagan to hurt us."
Ace gave her a sincere stare.
"Sorry Lexi." He apologised. "You're in no condition to fight. He caused so real damage to you and I don't want you to get killed by him."
"But-"
"No 'buts' Lexi." The leader gazed at her sternly. "I let you get yourself injured like the last time. Okay?"
Lexi hesitated for a minute until she finally nodded her head slowly.
"Okay."
"Don't worry Lexi." Ace assured. "We'll rescue Slam and get that dingo back where it hurts. We won't be long."
Ace turned to face the rest of the guys.
"Okay. Lets jet!"
The rest of the guys ran out of the room, leaving Lexi to sit on the sofa with the anxious expression across her face.
"Ace." She whispered. "Please bring back Slam and stay alive." _______________________________________________________
Ace and the others finally arrived at an old, run down, wooden house with the front garden only consisting of the tall green grass and a few weeds growing in random places.
"This is where my GPS has located Slam." Rev chirped. "And Dagan's in there too."
"We're gonna have to be really quiet then." Duck said.
"And should Dagan hear us and try to electrocute us, we won't feel anythibng thanks to these rubber suits that I've made." Tech added.
"Lets go." Ace ordered as the crept through the front door of the worn down place.
Inside was dark and the place stunk of damp mustard. Duck held his beak.
"Urgh!" He gagged. "Whoever lives here has never heard of room spray."
The other's continued to search around the house until Rev sensed something.
"I'm getting Slam's location in the house." the roadrunner piped up. "Follow me."
The others did as he said as they followed the roadrunner to a door which looked more secure than the other worn out doors they've walked past.
"So Slam's in there?" The mallard spoke.
Tech turned the door handle.
"It's locked."
Ace stood back as he focused his eyes on the door. The others moved back as the laser shot out of Ace's eyes and burnt the door down. Without hesitation, they entered the room which was more pitch black than the rest of the dark house. They looked around the room until Rev pointed to a darkened figure, hunched over in a corner of the room. The figure slowly lifted their head up to see the rest of the Loonatics staring down at him with their eyes wide open in shock.
Ace knelt down to the Tasmanian devil's eye level. Slam flinched and covered the top of his head and his face as though he was going to be beaten by someone.
"It's okay Slam. We're not gonna hurt you." Ace cooed as he reached his hand out to the devil.
Slam growled loudly as he swiped one of his arms violently to try to hit the rabbit. Ace just lost his balance and fell backwards just missing the hit.
"Slam. Don't you remember who we are?" Duck asked.
"We're you friends." Rev said.
The devil moved closer into the corner.
"I... don't want to hurt you." he uttered. "I'm a monster. Stay back from me."
Ace regained his original position before he fell backwards.
"Slam. We're not gonna leave without you." Ace said sincerly.
"Didin't you hear what I said?" Slam stammered. "I'm a monster. I hurt people. I... can't exist any more with you guys."
"But... it's not the same without you." Rev mumbled sadly. "It'll be more... empty."
Tech then knelt down beside Ace and looked at Slam.
"Well if you don't think you should exist, then let me ask you this: Dagan has constantly told you plenty of times that you are a monster and that you should never show your face. And also you were told everything in the outside of this house was evil. Even as a child, you were told that am I right?"
The Tasmanian devil nodded his head.
"Well here's the question that I want to ask you:" Tech continued. "Did you ever think you were a monster? Have you ever wondered for yourself what was really outside?"
Slam looked up at the faces that surround him, trying to remember the answer that he discovered a long time ago. _______________________________________________________
A young Tasmanian devil scrambled from a small window. He grabbed a clump of long grass and pulled himself out from the window. He panted for a minute before he stood up. He squinted as the sun rays welcomed him with it's warm heat. The Tasmanian devil looked down to see the grass stains smeared onto his white T-Shirt. He immediately wandered away from the house and onto the pavement in the street.
Tall figures of people towered over the little devil as he looked up. Overwhelmed by the different colours and smells, he wandered into a less crowded area.
He was amazed by everything around him until he clumsily bumped into someone. The person turned around and looked down on him. The Tasmanian devil cowered in fear of being hit.
The figure in a brown mackintosh crouched down to the child's level and gave a smile.
"I'm sorry. I didn't see where I was going."
The devil slowly dropped his arms and gave a face of confusion.
"I'll watch where I'm going next time." the figure smiled as he walked off.
The devil stood there dumbfounded. He didn't expect anyone to do what the good samaritain has done. He decided to walk further up the street to find the person to thank him when he looked at a poster advertising a wrestling match. He read the poster and looked at the picture of two muscular men wrestling each other with bright colours surrounding them. He smiled in determination. He wanted to become just like those wrestlers. Strong, brave and determined to succeed. __________________________________________________________
Slam gazed at his team members out stretched arms waiting for him to grab one of their hands. The devil smiled as he grabbed all the hands in front of him.
"Lets go then." Slam said in determination.
"Go where?"
All the Loonatics turned around to find a menacing figure at the door.
Well Akira Cat I can see a good story when I see it and this is one I hope to read the next chappter soon

I'm finally back! And I finally get the chance to get the next chapter up!
Chapter 9
The dingo stepped into the room with hi arms tucked behind him.
"You really wasn't thinking of leaving me here alone didn't you?" he asked.
"Well that was the general idea." Duck said sarcastically
"You haven't the first idea of loneliness!" Slam snapped at Dagan. "You made me live in it!"
"I came in here to keep you company." Dagan frowned.
"And lied to me!" Slam shot back. "You kept telling me that the world was a terrible place and that no-one would like me for who I am! But I have friends that care for me as I care for them!"
"Yeah!" Rev added. "All you ever did was abuse him!"
"They don't really care for you." Dagan's hands glowed a lightning yellow colour as he approached the guys. "They're only being friends so that they can take what they want from you and then spit you out again."
"Oh yeah," Ace reacted. "If we didn't care for him, then why are we here?"
"You have been pains in my sides long enough!" The dingo gritted his teeth and faced Slam. "Especially you ugly beast!"
Jolts of electricty circled around Dagan's hands.
"Now I can finally do what I should have done a long time ago!"
Before he could let some sparks fly, a pink ray of light hit his back which caused him to fall over forwards. Everyone looked at the figure standing at the entrance of the door.
"You've already hurt enough people!" the figure said. "You're not gonna hurt anyone any more!"
"Lexi!" Ace gaped. "You're meant to be at the HQ!"
"Well I'm not gonna let a few cuts and bruises put me down." she smiled.
"You bitch!" Dagan shouted as he stood up to his feet. "You just never learn do you?"
"Well I've learnt a lot about you since our first meeting." Lexi said. "You are nothing but a bully. All you ever do is try and put people down to your level. But no-one is gonna take any more of your taunts and threats. No matter what you say, you're the one who's lowest of all. You keep calling Slam a monster and that he has no friends. If he was a monster and has no one to be with, what does that make you?"
Dagan's blood boiled as he clenched his fists. He then charged at Lexi and grabbed her throat.
"Out of everyone here, I hate your guts the most!" Dagan spat at her as he turned to face a generator on the wall. "People like you should deserve a punishment. Did you know the electric chair is one of the oldest ways of punishment for criminals? I sure would like to experiment that to see all the pretty sparks fly."
"You're not gonna do that!" Ace growled. "You can't!"
Dagan sneered at the male rabbit.
"Just watch me."
Dagan was about to throw Lexi at the electric generator. Slam knew now that Dagan cannot bully or hurt anyone any more. And he certainly wasn't going to let the bully kill someone now. The Tasmanian Devil quickly sprinted towards Dagan and pushed him hard. Letting go of Lexi's neck, Dagan lost his balance and slammed against the generator. Breaking the outer shell of the box, Dagan gave a blood curdling scream as the yellow aura of the electricity surrounded him. All the Loonatics could do was watch the dingo struggle against the pain of the current rushing all over him. Slam rushed to Lexi to see if she was alright. But then they noticed that Dagan started chuckling. The dingo burst out laughing demonically and loudly as they watched the dingo with dumbfounded faces.
"What is he doing?!" Duck stammered against the loud laughing. "He's... enjoying it!?"
The dingo gave uncontrollable bursts of laughter of insanity.
"More!" Dagan bellowed. "More more more! Kill me now! Give me more!"
"He's mad!" Tech said in concern.
Slam looked around the room to try to disconnect anymore electrical current flowing into the psychotic dingo. His eyes scrolled the wire fixed on the wall from the generator until he found the source of the power. A plug as big as a small plate was situated against the wall far from the generator. He ran towards it as he made an effort to pull it out with both hands. He pulled harder and harder until the pulg flew out. Slam rolled backwards as Dagan gave his last scream before falling forward onto the floor unconscious. Everyone stared at the corpse with their eyes wide open.
"Is he... dead?" Rev whispered.
Lexi took some small steps forward after ten seconds to hear it he had a pulse.
"He... still has a pulse." she concluded.
"But how can he still be alive?" Ace asked.
"Maybe because of his powers of controlling electricity made him ammune to it's very deadly high voltage. So instead of killing him, it made him pschologically deranged." Tech explained.
"So basically his brain's been cooked?" Duck said.
His comment was ignored as the Loonatics stared down at the smoke emmiting out of the dingo's body.
Ugh. I don't like electric shock stuff. But it was a vedry dramatic chapter. I'm glad Slam has the heart not to let Dagan die. And I knew Lexi wasn't going to stand for being left by herself.
Z_S - Heh heh. Sorry. The electric shock part was based on a assessed performance we had to do for Performance Studies. We had to make an integrated piece of music, drama and dance about rituals. For one of the scenes we had to do something about the guillotine chopping people's heads off. So one of the groups did a prisoner's crime sentence by death of the electric chair. And it was thanks to the punished person acting really good and menacing, the way Dagan did when he was getting electricuted reminded me of the idea. So thank you to the guy who really acted that part out well. But you have to admit, it was really dark, dramatic and twisted. That's what I wanted to achieve in this chapter.
Siamese - Again from up above. Sorry. I just thought it would be more effective if the corpse was smoking instead of nothing happening. Plus bodies do actually become very hot to touch and start smoking after being electrocuted so I guess I based that on reality and the performance piece I said above. Thank you to our Performance Studies teacher for pointing that one out. And of course Lexi wasn't going to stay in the HQ. She just can't. In fact she practically forced me to get her into the scene.
Daphne Dingo - Yep. We can safely say Dagan 'has a mental diffency'. Originally I didn't know what was going to happen to the dingo. But thanks to the Performance Studies performance that I said on the above above paragraph, that has shaped his path to develop his nasty, psychologically deranged, compulsive, bullying personality.
But there is something that I have noticed throughout this story about Dagan. You just have to find out what it is in the last chapter. And if anyone guesses it before I say it, they get a cookie.
A-C. I do enjoy your story. Like the meany before me I don't quite care for the corps but why complane about some thing you can't chang. Now the question is can Slam leave without this guy Dagan, is he deid, draging back throu guilt that is not his.

ARGGGGG!!! I am so mad at myself for not reading this earlier!!! Stupid, stupid, stupid!!!
Anyways, now that I have read it, absolutely fantastic!! I love everything about this story, especially that it's Slam centric! and the electric chair thing was interesting, creepy, but intresting all the same!

Besides the fact that he has a mental diffency? Is it....um... he keeps on putting liquid on his hands? (I'm not even close, am I?)
Lumosnight - Yes. Digeri Dingo his name is. I wanted to explore the similarities and differences between both relationships between Dugeri and Taz, and Dagan and Slam.
BlackCat - Thank you very much. You'll just have to see in the final chapter...
Doggirl2772 - Thanks. I only wrote one Slam centric story so I thought I'd write another one. The electric chair part was meant to be creepy. Dark even. And the last chapter will be put up very soon...
Daphne Dingo - Nope. Not even close. I'll tell you at the end of the last chapter.
Okay! Here is the final chapter! And I will reveal the answer at the end of the chapter!
Chapter 10
"He's a monster I tell you!" Dagan screamed as he tried struggling out of his straight jacket with people in white coats trying to upload him into the white van. "He'll kill you all! He'll hurt you! He'll-"
The doors at the back of the van shut behind him so that no-one else would hear his rants. Slam gave a sad glance at the back of the van as the engine started and it started to drive off. He looked down onto the floor as the van disappeared around the corner. He suddenly felt a warm hand touch his shoulder. The Tasmanian devil turned his head around to see Lexi's worried face in front of him.
"Are you okay Slam?" she asked.
Slam looked down onto the floor again.
"Yeah." He sighed. "I just hope Dagan's going to be okay."
"He wil be." Lexi assured him. "At least he's away from you now. So it's going to be alright."
Slam gave another sigh before nodding his head.
"I guess."
"Hey!" Ace called to the two Loonatics. "We going back to the HQ?"
They both nodded in agreement as they flew with their jet packs along with the other Loonatics.
In the evening at the HQ, Rev and Duck was playing a video game, Lexi was reading her novel, Tech was sorting out the paper work and Ace just entered the living room, wiping a towel all over his neck after some vigorous training. The male rabbit then looked around the room as if he was looking for something.
"Has any of you seen Slam?" He asked.
"Not since this afternoon." Tech replied as he continued to sort out the paper work.
"Lexi? You were the last one with him." Ace said.
Lexi snapped out of her day dream in the book and spun round to him.
"Slam said he wanted to sort something out."
"And what would that be?" Ace inquired.
Lexi gave a pause.
"He didn't say."
Ace nodded his head respectively as he strolled up the corridor to go into his bedroom. ________________________________________________
In an mental asylum, Dagan sat against a wall, giggling and chuckling uncontrollably, with the straight jacket still wrapped around him.
"They've come and took me away. Ha ha! They've come and took me away. Ho ho! Hee hee! Ha ha! The funny home, where life is good and I'm so glad to see those nice young men in their clean white coats. Ha ha ha ha ha..."
Suddenly, he saw the door open to reveal a man in a white lab coat and a Tasmanian devil in a brown mackintosh. The man whispered something to the devil and then exited out of the room, leaving the Tasmanian devil approach the deranged dingo.
"Have you got any soap and water?" the dingo asked the devil. "I'm dirty. So dirty from touching you and your germs!"
"Dagan," The devil shook his head. "Look at what's happened to you. You're all tied up and you're giggling uncontrollably. Why did you do this to yourself?"
"I wanted to protect people. That's right." Dagan stammered. "I wanted to protect people from you. A hideous monster like you."
"I'm not a monster Dagan." The devil shook his head again. "In fact, look at what you've become. You've become something frightful. The frightful thing that has made you get put in this place."
"But you still don't get it!" Dagan growled as his eyes become more blood-shot. "Your mother drove herself to suicide because she couldn't cope protecting a monster like you! So I had to look after you! But then you ran away from home and you've hurt so many people! That's what a monster does! That's what you are!"
"But you still don't get it as well." the devil said calmly. "You hurt so many people too. You drove me to believe that I shouldn't exist. You made me think I was worthless and that people would hate me. But that day when I escaped, I realised you lied to me. That was when I wanted to become stronger. And just when I was finally getting along with some people, you tried to hurt my friends and then pinning the blame on me. But at least I have friends who helped me out of your mind games. And now you're stuck in here for the rest of your entire life."
Dagan giggled and then burst out laughing.
"I can't believe you're saying this!" he cackled. "You're not a person! You're a monster!"
The Tasmanian devil dropped down so his eye level was the same as the dingo's.
"I am not a monster." he growled. "I have a name. And my name is Slam!"
Slam got up and turned around to walk out of the door.
"Wh-where are you going!?" Dagan stammered panickly. "You- you can't leave me alone in here! You have to stay with me!"
Slam turned his head round to take one last glance at Dagan.
"Sorry Dagan. But you're in a place where you truly belong."
As Slam exited the room, Dagan cried out like a screaming child having a tantrum, with hot tears running down his furry cheeks.
"Noooooooooooooooooooo!!! Come back! COME BACK! COME BACK!!! I don't want to be alone!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
Slam ignored the cires of the dingo as he exited out of the asylum.
The devil finally reached the elevator to the HQ. Once the elevator doors opened, he stepped into the hallway and strolled into the living room where his friends spun their heads round to see their friend entering the room.
"Slam! Where have you been?" Rev piped up. "What were you doing out?"
The Tasmanian devil looked and smiled at the road runner.
"Just saying goodbye to my inner monster."
Sitting on a sofa from a distance, Lexi peeped over her novel and gave a relived smile at Slam. He finally faced his past and is ready for a new day.
THE END.
Yay! Finished! And as I've said before, I keep my promises. I will now tell you the thing I've noticed about Dagan. And so far, no-one got the answer right.
So without further ado, the thing that I've noticed about Dagan through-out the whole story is
Spoiler
that he has never said Slam's name through out the story once. He only called him "monster" or "beast". If you don't belive me, read the whole story and look for a sentence that Dagan says with Slam's name in it. I never actually noticed that until chapter 2, 3 or 5. Can't remember.
I'd like to thank everyone for reading the story! And another Akira_Cat fan fiction will come to a fan fiction part of the forum near you!
Wow I was waaaaaay off. I liked having Slam the center of a story. As someone else's story pointed out, Slam is pretty smart when he doesn't let his brawn get in the way. I think it would be more interesting to see his point of view more of the time.
Wow a good story hear, and your right he never said Slams name

Thanks for your comments. I'm actually thinking of doing a sequel to this. I discussed this idea with my sis Twilightgirl but she's against the idea. However I am thinking of doing it. What do you guys think? You think it could be worth a shot?
