HUZZAH!

Sequel to "Gotta Go My Own Way"

"Double Trouble"

Prologue: "Work This Out"

 "But, Ma, do I have to?" Rev protested.

 "Yes, dear, you must. Aunt May and Uncle George have already asked several other people who won't be able to. Besides, I already said that you would."

 "What!? But, Ma..."

 "Now, Revie, no need to be so horrifed. I've babysat them dozens of times and never once have they been any trouble."

 "But, what if an emergency comes up? I can't help my freinds save the city if I'm babysitting! And what would Ace say?"

 "Well, bring him here and I'll talk to him."

 "Yes, Ma." Rev walked into the main room, frowning.

 "Rev? What's got you down?" Lexi asked.

 "Yeah, frowning isn't your thing." Ace agreed.

 "Ace, I need you to bail me out of a babysitting job my Ma set up. Please say I can't! Please! Please! Please! Please! Please!"

 Ace was slightly confused, having only caught a few words of the roadrunner's jumbled speech. "Well, I'll see what I can do."

 Ace and Rev returned a few minutes later. Rev was still frowning, and Ace had his normal smile.

 "So, what was the emergency?" Duck asked

 "Well, one of my cousins is getting married, and my Aunt May and Uncle George need soemone to watch my twin cousins for a few days." Rev explained.

 "WHAT?!" Duck blurted. "Babysitting? I don't think so!"

 "Duck, calm down. Mrs. Runner explained the situation, and by the sounds of it, Rev's aunt and uncle have no one else to turn to. It's our duty to help people, right?" Ace said.

 "Fine. But, I draw the line if there's diapering involved."

 "How old are they?" Cassidy questioned.

 "They're six. Their names are Tim and Jim. And they are absolute nightmares!"

 Tech was quite suprised at Rev's attitude. "Wow, that doesn't sound like you."

 "Yeah, Rev, they're only six, how much trouble could they be?" Lexi added.

 Just then, the doorbell rang. Rev answered it. "Hi Aunt May."

 Aunt May smiled. "Thank you sooo much for agreeing to watch Tim and Jim for us."

 Tim and Jim appeared from behind her. They both had bright green eyes and blue-and-red feathers.

 Ace smiled. "No problem, ma'am. Come on in."

 "I'm sorry to just be dropping off the boys and running, but my other son is waiting for me so we can go pick out his tuxedo and we have a million other things to do!"

 "That's okay..." Ace began, not sure what else to say.

 "Now, Jim, Tim, you listen to Rev and his freinds and be on your absolute best behaviour for the next few days. Okay?"
 
 "Yes, mom." Jim and Tim replied.
 
 "Thanks again!" Aunt May said." Goodbye!" She left.

 Rev glanced at the others. "If you don't understand what I was talking about before, you will soon."

(End Chapter)

*gasps* REV IS NOT ACTING LIKE HIMSELF!

Whoops... hehe.. caps lock.... sorry.

Either way, it must be serious, cause Rev's not so cheerful. (Man, that chapter was very hard to write, it felt soooo weird, and Rev felt sooo out of character)

 Cassidy sat cross-legged in front of them. "So, are you excited that your brother's getting married?" She asked.

 Tim and Jim shrugged. "I guess." They said at the same time. They glanced between her and Tech curiously. "Are you guys married?"

 Tech's eyes grew as big as dinner plates. Cassidy covered her mouth with her hand and pretended to cough. "Oh, no way. We're just friends." She explained.

 The twins seemed to be enjoying making the coyotes uncomfortable. "So, you've never kissed?"

 Tech rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, no."

 "That's not true!" Tim said. "Remember Jim?"

 "What?" Jim asked.

 "They did, on their romantic date during their vacation. Oh, lala." The twins laughed.

 Tech growled. "Where did you hear that?"

 "From Mom, who heard it from Aunt Harriet, who heard it from Rev."

 Cassidy glanced knowingly at Tech. "He is sooooo going to pay for that."

 "Definitely." Tech agreed.

Chapter 1: "KABOOM!"

 Later that day, Cassidy and Tech were bust working in the lab. 

 Cassidy nudged Tech's arm. "We're being watched."

 Tech glanced in the direction she was pointing. Jim and Tim were standing nearby, watching curiously. "Can we help you?"

 "No. We're just watchin'." They replied.

 Tech and Cassidy shrugged and returned to their work.

 "Our family doesn't like coyotes." They noted.

 "So I've heard." Cassidy replied.

 Tech nodded. "And so I've experienced."

 "Well, except for Rev. He said you guys are his best friends." Tim started.

 "We kinda like coyotes. There's one at our school. And you guys are okay." Jim added.

 Cassidy smiled and sat cross-legged in front of them. "So, are you excited that your brother's getting married?" She asked.

 Just then, Rev and Duck walked in the room. Jim and Tim exchanged mischevious looks and zipped away. They ran around and around Duck's feet.

 "Woah! Watch it! Ahhh!" Duck fell over.

 "Jim! Tim! Apologize!" Rev folded his arms.

 Jim and Tim bowed their heads meekly and said. "Sorry Duck. Sorry Rev."

 "Yeah, sure, whatever." Duck muttered, picking himself up.

 "Hey Tech Cassidy what are you working on?" Rev asked.

 But Tech and Cassidy didn't reply at first. They just looked at him, frowning, with arms crossed.

 Rev realized what they were doing and why. He smiled innocently. "Hehe.... I can explain....."

 "Nevermind," Tech sighed. "Anyway, Cassidy and I are trying to repair my gravity stabilization gyro."

 "Key word, trying." Cassidy added.

.RED TRIANGLE.

DUM-DAH-DUM-DAH-DUM-DAH-DUM! DUM DUM! DUM DUM! DUM-DAH-DUM-DAH-DUM-DAH-DUM! DUM DUM! DUM DUM!

Ace, Rev, Lexi, and Slam came running out of their rooms, still in their pjs, confused and alarmed. Thye found Tim and Jim marching down the hallway, beating loudly on their drums.

 Duck was the last one out of his room. He came out groggily, rubbing his eyes sleppily. "Who? What's the emergency?"

 Tim and Jim stopped. "Sorry if we woke you." They said unsincerely.

 Ace rubbed his head. "What time is it?"

 "Quarter to six." Lexi yawned. "Where are Tech and Cassidy?"

KABOOM!

 The tower seemed to shake from an explosion, which came in the direction of Tech's lab.

 The Loonatics exchanged horrified looks. "Oh no! Tech! Cassidy!"

(end Chapter)
Uh oh! What happened?! Are Tech and Cassidy okay? Find out in Chapter 2! (hey, had to keep you in suspense somehow)

Chapter 2: "Mission Impossible"

 "Just about got it...." Tech murmered as he attempted to solder on a small piece of the machine he and Cassidy were working on.

 DUM-DAH-DUM-DAH-DUM-DAH-DUM! DUM DUM! DUM DUM! DUM-DAH-DUM-DAH-DUM-DAH-DUM! DUM DUM! DUM DUM!

 Both coyotes jumped. "What was that?" Cassidy asked.

 Tech's eyes grew wide in alarm. "Do you smell something?"

 Cassidy gave a small gasp. "Smoke!"

 Tech grabbed Cassidy's arm and the two ran for the door, knowing what was coming.

 KABOOM!

 Tech and Cassidy stumbled and fell. Tech sat up. "Are you okay, Cass?"

 "Yeah, I'm fine." Cassidy replied.

 Just then, the door opened and Ace, Lexi, Rev, Duck, Slam, Jim, and Tim rushed in. Duck smirked. "Well, doesn't this paint a pretty picture."

 Duck was right, it was a sight. Dust and debris was scattered everywhere. Tech was sitting on his haunches looking completely confused and Cassidy was laying on her back, absolutely terrified.

 "Are you two okay?" Ace asked.

 "Well, I think we're still in one piece." Tech said, helping Cassidy up.

 Rev glared at Jim and Tim. They frowned. "We're sorry, Rev. We're sorry, Tech and Cassidy."

 Cassidy, being a bit of a softie, smiled. "Actually, Tech and I are kinda used to having stuff blow up in our faces."

 "This is true." Tech added. He turned around and began picking up whatever pieces he could. Cassidy joined him.

 "Is it fixable?" Lexi asked.

 Tech scratched his head. "Probably. But it's going to take time."

 "Where do we start, though?" Cassidy pointed out.

 "Garbugahla! Me hungry!" Slam grumbled, rubbing his stomach.

 "Me, too, Slam. Let's go get some breakfast!" Rev suggested. Rev, Tim, and Jim zipped out of the room, followed by Slam, Ace, Lexi, and Duck.

.YELLOW TRIANGLE.

 "Hiya!" Ace shouted as he kicked down another of his opponents. Then he drew out his sword and knocked down the next one. "How'm I doin' Tech?" Ace called.

 "Great. You'll soon beat your record!" Tech replied from up in the control room. Just then, Lexi came into the room, and asked Tech a question.

 While Tech and Lexi were distracted, Jim and Tim snuck into the room. They then began messing with the buttons on the control board. When it started beeping, they disappeared.

 "Huh?" Tech turned around and tried to fix what damage the twins had done.

 "Tech? What in the name of carrot sticks is goin' on?!" Ace yelled as he tried to avoid the many obstacles being thrown at him.

 "Ace! Look out!" Lexi shouted in horror.

(End chapter)

I luv how the twins are causing trouble! Gives me a few ideas of my own actually... hehehe... *smirks evily; gives shifty eyes*
