This is a sequal too my first fanfiction "My Girl". Thus being the sequal, what becomes of Joy is revealed. In this story Jewel quits here Job and heads too Acmetropolis in hopes of finding Rev, but soon learns that that Rev has fallen seriously ill.
Prolouge. She never felt the same since he rescued her. What this feeling was she did not know,but she did know she was determined too find him. He changed her, not phsically,but emotionaly. Jewel sighed as she wandered the streets of the city-planet,hoping that luck would befall them and bring them together.

Jewel walked on wondering why she quit the only job she loved,why she sold her home too live on the streets of Acmetropolis,just then she felt a pain surge through he shoulder as she hit the pavment. Jewel looked up to see a familiar face,it was Joy! Joy was wearing a black jump-suit with a peculiuar white triangle symbol on the top half. The Road-runner embraced her Coyote friend. Jewel: Joy...you look different. Joy:What do you mean by that? Jewel:Well,y-your white. Joy laughed and smiled Joy:It's just my suit thats all. Jewel remembered how Joy left too joined the Loonatics. Jewel: Hows Rev? The smile vanished from Joys' face as she stared at the ground. Jewel:Joy? Whats wrong? Joy:Nothing. Jewel:Sure don't look like nothing.Is it Rev? Is he okay? Joy:I would'nt put it that way. I guess I should explain...
-Flashback-
The Loonatics were sitting at the table eating breakfast,minus one Road-runner. At that moment a fire-red fowl with his hand up at his fore-head entered the room. A male coyote asked the bird what was wrong. The Road-runner explained that he just had a head-ache and that it would go-away. Later that same day his condition worsened and was absent during their mission. The group returned to find the bird laying on the couch unconcious. A female rabbit laid her hand on his head. She jumped back in shock,her hand felt almost like fire on the young fowls' head. They rushed him to the med-lab.
-End of flashback-
Joy:...and he is getting worse. Jewel stood still dazed,taking in what she had just heard. Jewel: Can I see him? Tears began to roll down her cheeks. Joy sighed. Joy: Sure, it might do him some good.

Back at the Loonatics' H.Q. Jewel and Joy were walking into the medlab. Jewel gasped at what she saw. Rev was laying on a bed almost lifeless. His royal-blue feathers had lost their shine and were now dull and unkempt. She noticed his chest heaved and quivered with each breath. Jewel walked up to him and stroked the crest of purple feathers upon his head which marked him as a Road-runner. Tech was keeping record of the birds' vitals. Every so often he would sigh and shake his head.
Jewel:Rev? Rev did'nt stir. Joy:Hows he doin' Tech? Tech:Not good. Jewel grabed a nearby chair and pulled it over next to Revs' bed and sat Tech was watching over Rev till one o clock A.M. when Jewel beckoned him to go to bed and said she would watch him. She waited till Tech was gone before she gently kissed Rev on the cheek. At about three Rev let out a cough that threatened to split him in two. Jewel sqeezed his hand. She was surprised too have him sqeeze hers back as if he were trying too take some of her strength.

Morning came,Jewel found that her body was sitting in a chair while her head was lay on top of the bed Rev was sleeping on.His hand was resting on her head. Jewel stood up,then she noticed Rev was begining to wake. His eyes opened slightly and he smiled weakly.Just then Tech came in the room. Tech: Hey, finally awake? Rev nodded slightly. Tech: You should problably rest awhile longer.Your body still needs more time to recover. Tech turns too Jewel. Tech:You want breakfast? Jewel:Sure,but could you bring it over here? I want to stay with Rev. Tech:suit yourself. At the breakfast table. Ace:So Rev finally woke up,huh? Tech:It's an uexpected sign of recovery,considering how his condition seemed to be progressing. Lexi:Maybe Jewel was good for him after all. Tech: I'll be back in a minute, I just got to take this plate of food over to Jewel. Tech gets up and walks down to the medlab. Tech enters the lab and hands Jewel the plate containing baked sesame seeds.

Rev is in his own bed having recovered enough to be able to leave the infirmary. Jewel is with him. Rev:Jewel-don't-you-have-powers? Jewel: Yes,I do. Rev: Well-why-don't-you-join-us? Jewel: Do you think I'll be of any use to you guys? Rev: We-can-use-all-the-help-we-can-get. Jewel: In that case...I'm in! Rev:Sweet-sweet-sweet!!! Lexi comes in. Lexi: Whats with all the noise? Rev:Jewel-has-agreed-to-join-us!!! Lexi: Great! I'll pick out the color of uniform you'll wear. I'm the one who picked out Joys' too. Jewel: Fine by me. Lexi: Tech is the one who throws them together for us, let go talk to him now. The girls walk out of room.Rev drapes a blanket over his shoulders and follows them. Tech is his lab pinning over a picture of Joy when... Lexi: Tech? Tech:Gah!!! Tech quickly stuffs the picture in a drawer. Lexi: I need you to fix a unform for Jewel. Tech:Okay, but I'm going to need some measurements. Jewel steps foward and stretches out her arms for Tech to measure her. After the measuring was taken care of Tech sets to work. Tech:What color? Lexi: Blue would be nice "In Lexis' room Lexi is helping Jewel figure out how to put her jumpsuit.Jewel looks at herself in a fullbody mirror. Her mouth came open at what she saw,Her beak had a blue tint in it and her,er...feathers were also baby blue. Rev walks in,then it was his turn to have his mouth hanging open,but before he could say anything Ace came on the intercom. Ace: Jewel,Lexi. Zadavia is calling, we need you guys over here. Jewels' ffirst mission had began!!!
