So, who else knows about this miraculous discovery? What do you think of it?
For those who dont know what stem cells are: They're basically nuetral human cells that become any other kind of cell (Bone, marrow, nerve). They can be injected into a person and automatically repair damage.
For example, a man whos arms and legs were perilized, went to china and got some stem cell injections into his spine. After 20 years he can move his arms and hands again, the stem cells rebuilt the nerve connections!
And of course the most used argument against stem cell research and using stem cells for medical purposes is that it destroys life, or something to that general extent. But seeing as how stem cells are usually discarded anyway, used or not, I would support stem cell research.
Actuelly, adult stem cells can be retrieved from the blood in the abilical cord after a baby is born, which is why they save it in china. No moral bollocks against that.
Absolutely none, yes. It's rather moronic, in my opinion, that stem cell research hasn't been pushed further than it has. A lot of people seem to think its, like, the same thing as abortion, when it's not at all.
Yep, thats why communist china is one of the leading countries in stem cell research. Although they're not very communist in my opion since they have a pretty free market.
