Hey, I was watching United 93 tonight, and the thought hit me would you take your own fate into your hands to save others from terror, it was a scary, and really great thought to think about, you guys try and take back the airplane? knowing the possible outcomes, good or bad.
That depends really if they have a gun/knife/weapon that can kill you or not. If they don't, I would do all I can to bring them down. If they do (which most of them do), I wouldn't. I found that a person with a gun is the most powerful person unless you have a bigger gun yourself.
It doesnt matter if they had guns or not to me. I would know if terrorists hijacked the plane I was on, something horrible was going to happen, likely a 100% chance I'd die. So I'd rather try and rally as many other passengers as I could against the terrorists. Better to die fighting.
If your smart (Read:wathced too many movies) then I think it would be fairly easy to work up a good plan. A plane is a very small space, and if a terrorist was dumb enough to patrol the isles hed be surronded by passengers. This would give you the chance to tackle him from the side when hes looking at other passengers, and take his gun.
But the terrorist didn't have a gun,all they had were knives, but if it was up to me, and I had more time to stop them, and save my own life as well, I would definitely fight back.
