What bands would Rip listen to?

Sorry I'm asking a lot of your opinion on Rip, but he's an intriguing character.

I was just wondering, what bands (equivalents to bands of our era) do you think Rip Runner would listen to? I, myself was thinking that he'd listen to Sum 41 or some other band similar to that.
What do you guys think?

(P.S. This is important for a fanfic I'm writing)

Well hes from the year 2773 (Since its season 2), so he wouldnt really listen to any of the bands we know today.

But, I'd imagine he'd like metallica, definately.

Equivalents? I'd imagine stuff like Trivium, Bullet for My Valentine, Sonic Syndicate, etc.

He seems like the type to listen to hard rock and such things, in my opinion. Not necessarily depressing music, but heavy, for certain.
