The last two are ridiculous. The channels are being overrun by fake-celebrity "pop-stars" that are trying to boost their popularity by brainwashing little kids and getting them interested in their mindless t.v. shows with problems that no one gives a **** about.

Almost anything on Disney, Nickelodeon, Kid's WB and Cartoon Network, I suppose. Stupid reality TV shows involving drama are crap. A lot of MTV shows are as well.

And I am really adversed to anime >_>

But other than that I'm not a hater D:

(The Office, Seinfeld, 30 Rock, My Name Is Earl, The Drew Carey Show, Frasier and sometimes Reba are the only shows I ever really watch)

I guess that the only shows that i really, absolutely cannot stand are talk and reality shows. The former is full of people who bark and insult each other and the latter is just a bunch of retards.

Plus I'm really inrked by the fact that reality shows are always so carefully planned out and controlled, when they're supposed to emulate real life.

Because for me whenever I watch it I get so bored and the characters are like so annoying. The story is like nonsense. But if you like it, then keep watching it. No one is stopping you. Not even me.

Not understand? I would understand. If they cannot explain it, then they cannot truly say that they dislike it without reason. And it technically is your fault that you dislike it; you choose not to like it.

My point exactly. Now, if I hated a certain cartoon, I could just say "I hate it because it sucks," but that would not be a valid reason. I should be able to explain why I hate it and why it sucks. Example:

I hate the cartoon called, "Spongebob Squarepants". Why? Well, there are a few reasons.

(A) The voice acting is pretty bad.
(B) The "randomness" is just sheer stupidity that makes little children laugh, but annoys me. In a commercial, Spongebob slaps someone who is tied to a chair and demands, "What colour is my underwear?"
(C) The content of the cartoon is just...disturbing. I remember watching an episode (I forgot the name of it) and Spongebob and his friend ended up tearing off their clothes, revealing their boxers/underwear/whatever. Then they started crying because their boxers/underwear/whatever happened to be the same colour as their friend. (Spongebob's underwear was the same colour as his friend and vice-versa.)
(D) Spongebob's laugh. It hurts my ears everytime I hear it.

I think that these reasons for hating the cartoon are pretty valid. I supported my reasons, and hopefully someone will agree with me on at least one of them.

It's easier to list the shows I *DO* like.

LU (1st season), Legion, House, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, King of the Hill, Reba, What I Like About You, Eon Kid, getting used to Skunk Fu (I even came up with a FAN FIC. Gasp! But it's just one, and I never posted it and don't remember what it was about.), Dragon Tales, Clifford, Between the Lions.

I will say this, then I am letting it go:

Elaboration as to why Chalkzone was unenjoyable for me:
1)The animation made me dizzy.
2)I was always confused- I didn't get any of the jokes.
3)If there was a storyline, I missed that, too.
4)I didn't like the voice acting. It was just odd to me for some reason.
5)... Wish *I* had a chalk that could do that... SO jealous. DX

You guys know I have to put my two cents in everything.

Cartoons of Sonic and Mario actually existed? And I was not around to view them? Darn it all. Also, was there a cartoon about "Rescue Rangers"? I do remember a few things about it, but other than my faded memory, I cannot recall much else.

Mario: Yep. It was live action/cartoon, if I remember correctly. Or it may have been all live action, i was like, 4 at this time. XD

Sonic: Mulitple ones. One on Fox now called Sonic X. It's an anime, and I don't like this one because it doesn't really follow the comic, and ONLY JALEEL WHITE CAN VOICE SONIC! ARGH!

But I've learned that I'll just have to accept it...

Besides, I'm technically American (actually Irish, so that's even more farfetched) and I draw anime-style. ^_^;;; So if I hated anime-type American cartoons now, I'd just be considered a hypocrate.

I'm having trouble accepting Totally Spies, but getting there,
and I'm having a LOT of trouble with Winx Club! X_X It makes me angry every second, and I just can't shake it off...
It's tough. I'll change eventually, though...

But the once thing besides Winx Club (sorry, guys, if I just upset you) is Yu-Gi-Oh. I know it's completely Japanese, but the english dubs make me angry and the entire storyline goes downhill from the 12th episode.

Yes, everything I dislike I have tried to like...and failed.

OH! One more thing... The newest TMNT made me cry... (Not the movie. I LOVED the cgi movie. It was awesome.) I just... couldn't take that...pink-haired version of April...and then the future-thing, with that wimpy kid??? x_X; Sorry again.

Oh right! Disney, too... Eh-heh.. ;-; Everything Disney ever did...Especially when they combined with Studio Ghibli...Studio Ghibli ruined so many good books...

Hmmm..... I really dislike the Hallmark channel, 'cause all their movies look so fake and their plots are pointless.
The old Hanna-Barbera cartoons (especially Yogi Bear and Jetsons) which is quite strange because I liked them when I was a kid, especially Scooby Doo (which I somehow lost patience watching, but I was a big fan of it when I was small).
Tom and Jerry (poor Tom, getting fooled by a mouse)
The new girlish cartoons that promote girlish values (that shopping is cool and pink is an awesome colour) such as Winx, Barbie, Bratz etc. My Little Pony was great though when I was kid.
And reality shows such as Big Brother ought to be banned! They are a waste of space on TV programs!

I agree with Lumosnight on girly shows like Bratz and Winx those shows always bring up bad memories of middle school

Ever since LU ended I haven't really watch TV at all I only occastionly watch DVDs I mostly watch youtube

I hope to one day make my own tv shows thereby doing my part to improve TV for the rest of us.

On the issue of girl shows with girl values. I shall say a few things about my writing and my female characters.

I simply can not find girly girls likable characters. My female heriones are always tough talking tomboys or at least Xena like warriors who can beat the snot out of any male who rubs them the wrong way.

OK I'll admit that they are not entirly butch they have there femmine ways but my female characters are never self-centered mall rats like Lizzie Maguire. They are often selfless earth mother types, who focus more on doing good and right than indulging in material things.

I really can't stand South Park or Spongebob Squarepants and I absolutely despise the new Nickelodeon, except for Invader Zim which was fairly new. I kind of like Total Drama Island and Chalkzone but a lot of the things on Chalkzone don't really make me crazy about it. I do like it a little bit.

I have seen South Park a few times with Julia...Melody is not really a fan of it, either. As for me, there are a few good points on it, but I am generally not quite a fan of it.

As for another show/cartoon that I hate...this one was mentioned.

The Winx Club. Reasons as to why it sucks (in my opinion):

(A) The "transformations". The females' clothes get modified very slightly when they do a "transformation" for battles or some such thing. They just do a close-up on a female's body and make them spin around while adding a very minor detail to the clothing.

(B) The bodies. There is no way in Heaven (or the other place) that a female's body can be that slim or "perfect". Their breasts are also oddly-shaped...it is disgusting.

(C) The clothes. The Winx females dress horribly; they dress like...sluts, for a lack of a better term. They have more than enough flesh exposed to make me sick.

What a horrible cartoon, in my opinion. I do not see why 4KidsTV is bringing it back.

(FTR, WB was 4KIDS! WAAAAAAAY before Fox ever was. I cried when Fox switched to them, because that meant that the WORST. EDITING. COMPANY. EVAR. now owned the ONLY 2 cartoon channels I'd watch. I don't even get up on Saturday anymore. DX)
