There's hasn't been as much moderator action around here as there used to. Oddity and KaeJae have just recently returned - however, Crossfire pretty much announced his resignation, and Cali Bunny, well, where is she?**

She better come back soon, because I am:

Running for mod of Loonatic Unleashed Online message boards 2008!

My credentials:

1.) I have recieved a very kind nomination from Rye, who stated, and I quote, "I vote Dragon Wing for mod". In fact, she encouraged me to make this topic in the first place! Yay, Rye!

2.) I have recieved endorsements from both current active mods:

The_Oddity: "ALSO YES DRAGON_WING FER MODPWR"
And KaeJae: "And yay for model posting... Dragon Wing for Mod! *start campaigning* ;D"

3.) I've been here for almost a year and haven't seem to have gotten in any trouble yet.

4.) I have frequented message boards for seven years, and have had moderation experience for five of those years, so I know what's up.

5.) I started the first Loonatic army... which means... something? D:

6.) I rode an elephant at the Renaissance Festival when I was 3. I mean that's just cool.

7.) I'm in DEBATE. Which means I can argue with people.

8.) I can be SERIOUS but not forget to have fun, too.

Well, why would you necessarily not win? You have a lot more seniority around here than I do, a lot more posts, you write more fan fiction, and overall you're probably more well known than I am, not to mention probably friendlier.

But I'd totally be up to the challenge! =D

There's a lot of people here that deserve a nom fer mod, but some would just be better at it than others - seniority and number of posts aren't necessarily teh best credentials for a mod resume. Common sense, reasoning, patience, activity (activeness?), and the ability to stare at the forums constantly and make sure everyone's not being idiots are better qualities that one would look for in a mod.

Yup. And friendliness isn't necessarily a quality when it comes to moderating, you know.
Sure, you should be nice, but you need to be able to be firm also. You have that quality.
I'm always too nice with people. I feel bad being "mean" to them, even if they deserve it.
You come across as having a good sense of justice, yet the balance to know when to use it. =3
