I have come to discover that I can only really enjoy Linkin Park if I tune out the lyrics. (Not necessarily the vocals, but the lyrics). The music itself is pretty solid, but when I listen to the lyrics I get slightly irked by how stereotypically angsty they are (at least on their first 2 albums, MTM does not have this problem).

Then again I have to do that with a few bands I love. (Anathema on some of their songs, Evanescence, Antimatter, probably more.)

I don't know... I just like the combination. I can relate to a lot of their songs for various reasons, and well, I don't listen to a whole lot of angsty music anymore, so it doesn't bother me, I guess. They've grown on me too much. =3
