A Petition to Stop Dr. Uwe Boll

Yes, I'm talking about the guy who made fragrant and steaming movies such as In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, BloodRayne, and Alone In The Dark. Boll has vowed to quit filmmaking if this petition reaches 1,000,000 signatures. Don't let your favorite games be stained by this man! Sign the petition!

...This is confusing.  If he creates films, how does it effect the gaming industry?  Is there even a connection between the films and games?  If not, is there even a purpose to sign this petition?

All I'm saying is this: If he manages to get a hold of major-league games (Halo, Half-Life, or any other high-profile title that a lot of gamers like) to make into movies, odds are high that those corresponding franchises will get dragged, kicking and screaming, into a giant turd-pile as Uwe Boll works his "magic" on them.

...I think that I understand what MechMaster is trying to say.  Basically, if this film-maker gets his grubby little hands on a famous game and decides to put it in movie-form, it will ruin the game series...Is that correct?  Or am I wrong in my interpretations?

On every other forum I post at someone's posted a petition to support Uwe Boll. Even so, he's an *******. I don't know how he effects anything ever, I don't even know what his movies are like, but I'd petition to stop him just because he's a jerk.
