High school goes by FAST, no matter how much it sucks at times.
My graduation is tomorrow at a ridiculously early time of 8:30 am. But hey, it's graduation! It's my transfer from my government-sponsered obligatory education period to that eerie "real world" everyone's been telling me about for ages.
Of course I'm going to university but hey this is a milestone of at least some sort \o/
Abby: Do you think it's possible to die from boredom? Chen: I don't think so. Abby: What if your mind wandered off in a daydream and you forgot to eat or drink for days? Chen: Then you'd die of starvation and dehydration. Abby: Caused by boredom.
I wish I could say the same. x x; -hits self for not having been able to stay in U.S.- D: I'm going to my old classmates' graduation on Sunday. I just keep thinking, "That could be me. If I had known that I'd still be here... if I had gone. I'd actually be having a graduation." And then I think, "...That would have meant another year of math with Miss Galdamez and another year of Socials with the naked mole rat. H'm... I'll take the diploma in September, thanks." XD
I wish upon a star Wanna be right where you are You set my world on fire Babe I got a crush on you I wish upon a star Can't you see how right we are We should be together Babe I got a crush on you
So if you feel the way I do Would you fancy to To take a ride beside me?
Me and you, you and me. Living a life in harmony It's magic(oh it's magic) babe I've got a crush on you [x2]
Thanks everyone. =D I actually should probably go to bed now or at least pretty soon since I have to get up at 6 for this thing... gah, every other school in our district has theirs in the afternoon, why is ours at 8:30 in the morning?! Gwar.
First period in high school down here started at 8:20 EVERYDAY. Stop yo' complainin'!
First period of high school for me start at 7:30 am every day, and when I took zero hour it started at 6:20 every day. Stop yo' complainin'! :P
Anyway, thanks again, everyone! Graduation was today and it was rather epic. It took place in a flippin' basketball stadium and there were some 8,000 people all in the bleachers and 3 big screen TVs on the walls showing all of us. It was rather disconcerting at first! But I guess fiting for a class of 710.

Hat throwing is the best part.
First period high school for me started 7:00 am everyday, and the early bird hour was 6:00! Stop yo' complainin'! ^^
Hey DW, thats awesome! 710? Wow, we fell short of 300. >< Your ceremony must have been long, but at least you got to throw your hats. We weren't permitted because it was thought dangerous -_- again, congratulations and I wish you luck at your uni!

Oh yeah well you live in Hawaii and I live in Houston, Texas. Stop YO complainin'! This could probably go on forever.
Yeah, we're a big school (some 3,500 students were enrolled this year). And yes, the ceremony took about 2 hours, most of it just reading off names.
But yes, we got to throw hats! But it was particularly fun the way I did it. I initially tossed my hat lightly in the air along with everyone else, but then I caught it and threw it harder, this time purposely nailing a guy I know in the back of the head.
It's stuff like this that probably gave your school incentive to ban hat throwing out of safety. =D

Ok, I'll stop, but just to keep facts straight, I live in Las Vegas (was born in Hawaii).

Crap, sorry! I just remembered one post in which you said you were from Hawaii, or something of the like, and I just made connections that way.
Seriously though, Our graduation was nothing like what I've seen on TV. We sat in a big assembly and listened to all the awards being presented before going back to class... O_o
