Anyways! I haven't actually gotten the opportunity to colour this yet because my compy hasn't had Photoshop reinstalled. To make matters worse, DA's being screwy again, so I can't even post this in my scraps. So consider this an LUO-exclusive preview.

Xtream's charrie Mairi and her "bubby". This is waaaay out of proportion (Mairi makes Duck look like a dwarf in this XD) but I still find it cute. Maybe next time I'll do a better job of putting them in proper scale.

Just a quick little job on photoshop for colour reference… (using only ONE layer, no less) XD

These are Mairi’s colours… Her clothes can be whatever you want them to be, but the blue that I used for her shirt is actually the blue that goes on her eyelids and AROUND her eyes. 83

SO! Enjoy. \8D/

And thanks again for doing this for me. I LOVE people drawing stuff for me, even though I myself am an artist and can draw stuff for myself. It’s just all the more special when someone surprises you with pictures like this. *heart*

Thanks for the ref, Xtream. smile Now that I've got photoshop back up and running, I'm nearly done with the colouring job (although it's not that great - I'm experimenting with the shading a little). I just need to know something: what colour are Mairi's tail feathers? All I need to do is colour them, and I'll be done.

And for an art update: SURPRISE! biggrin *does a dance* Sketches of Cassidy, Quick and Roxy, as gifts for their lovely creators. I wish I could say that I'm just being nice, but I honestly love drawing other people's characters - it lets me experiment a little. smile I did these last night off the top of my head, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Although I didn't really have a reference, so Roxy's hair is a little off...also, I improvised some civilian clothes for her.

If anything's off, feel free to tell me (for future reference! wink).

Aaaand speaking of gift art...here's the coloured version of Mizz Xtream's pic. Mairi kinda looks like she got punched in the eye - this I did not intend. D: This colouring job is a little different from what I normally do, because I was experimenting with the dodge and burn tools. Overall though, it looks pretty good. Or at least, it should; I spent enough time on it. X_X

Xtream: A long time ago I discovered that I was no good at drawing stylized characters (Sly Cooper = ARGH), so I decided that I would just stick to my own drawing style. So I've simply taken the designs from the show and softened them a bit. In other words, I cheated. XD

Cassidy: You want to use it in a video? Go right ahead! She's your character, after all. smile
