I love TV Tropes to little bits and pieces. But I've actually seen this article. It doesn't surprise nor offend me, though.

Meh, these people are entitled to their opinion of course. But admittedly, I don’t find the series utterly entertaining. If it weren’t for my love of Duck and the interaction between characters on the show I’d be inclined to completely disregard its existence. =(

Maybe you could alter the article? Is it one of those sites…? :3

Just read the article. And... I gotta agree with Xtrem and D_W. I don't really feel offensed, unless the person is right in front of me. And even then, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Only thing that got me was that last line, "The 8 year olds that watch this are probably gunna think the original Looney-Tunes are boring." Well, it wasn't exactly worded as such, but it's close enough. And I must disagree. My little brother and sister watch LU sometimes, and they still get a laugh from the LT! I know PLENTY of little kids that love the dark and edgey stuff, yet are laughing right along with old LT fanatics. Which brings me to the point of another line. "Especially the idea that the LT aren't cool unless they're darker and edgier." I don't agree with that. Sure, kids may be into the dark, edgey stuff now, but that doesn't mean that they'll hate the LT for not being that. They'll love it like the rest of us because of the good ol' violence-based humor. smile

And... I just realized that I was supporting the LT's critisim instead of the Loonatics. ^^;

Anywho, thats my two pennys worth! biggrin

I think the comments about how kids would find LT boring is more satirizing the mindset that WB had in creating the show, even though it doesn't state it directly. Which I don't really disagree with.

Hmmm... I don't feel offended at all, and I agree with Xtream people have their right to express their opinions on somethings.
However I have 2 little brothers that LOVE dark and edgy stuff!! trust me they were the ones who got me into the tics' in the first place X3
but they LOVE the Looney tunes. And they wouldn't change them for the world... shure they are totally aware that these cartoons are not from their era but they know them and they can say that they grew and are growing up with the LT! HECK! they have an older sister that loves them :3 and they watch Space Jam movie all the time! And they watch LT Back in action all the time also 8D

Face it, LT IS an always will be a big hit! maybe not LU but the LT are X3

Yea, yea, "LU is an LT rip-off" "only eight year olds like it" "stupid names" "powers" Blah, blah, blah.Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but after a while, it's like, "okay, we get it:shut up!" I love LT, which is one of the reasons I love LU.Ace automatically became my favorite by default by being a grand child of Bugs, but as the series grew, I liked him for other reasons :3 Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion-but why do I have to hear it all the time?Not too seem childishly stubborn, but I really don't care if you hate LU:just let up on it after a while.

Just to point out SoulessAce, Ace cannot be a grandchild off Bugs cos Ace was around 764 years into the future. Bugs would have been dead around whenever, and based on the average lifespan of human beings (although Bugs and Ace are both rabbits), Bugs would be Ace's goodness knows how many 'greats' of a grandfather Bugs is.

Back to the subject in question, I'm not gonna bother saying everyone is entitled to their own opinion cos you guys have already said it for so many people. Sure any LU fan would be a little upset that not everyone likes the show, but they know not to force it upon people. And this article lets you draw up your own conclusions to whether you agree with this or not. There are some parts which I agree with. However like SoulessAce, there comes a time when these sort of comments are not worth anything cos we're so used to hearing so many bad comments about it.

uh...well, actually I do find LT boring (sorry LT fans, but can I really help it? I'm only 14), but that had absolutely nothing to do with LU. I first discovered LT like 8 years before LU, and I already found it boring then. I guess I just don't like comedy unless it has enough action in it or something.
