(I'm so excited to be writing this! I hope you'll enjoy my first ever fan-fiction! This story was inspired by 'Get Out Alive' by Three Days Grace. WARNING: This story contains raw attitude and raw violence.)
Chapter 1: The Sound of a .45
"I hate them... I hate them all... I don't hate Slam, though. He never did anything wrong to me..." Tech thought as he looked around the main room where they all hangout. He regreted ever being here for them, except for Slam. Not risking waking up the "team" they called themselves before the damage was done, he twisted a silencer onto his gun.
One by one, he began to destroy the household items. First, he shot all the lights. Then, he blasted holes into the chairs, sofa, TV and so on until the place was trash. He went down into the hanger and disabled all of the vehicles that he had made for them. He even destroyed the boat he made for them. He regreted ever doing anything for them. Everything that was Slam's, he left alone.
"Hero... Such a fake word..." Tech muttered.
Tech creeped back up into his bedroom and packed his laptop. He tore his uniform to shreds, ripping at it with every ounce of anger built inside of him. When he was done, he tossed it into his little trash can. He took ALL of his money. Which was a LOT. He would later make a new banking account so they couldn't keep the money from him on his previous account. He was about to exit when he heard someone. Ace?
"Uh-oh... 5:30am..." Tech whispered as he peeked down at his watch.
"I gotta be quiet..." he muttered as he crouched and made his way into the elevator.
Ace always got up at 5:30 to do some training to stay in shape for saving the town. To his surprise, he got a MEAN wake-up call. The entire house was destroyed!
"What the...?!" Ace's eyes widened as he looked around at the household carnage. What could've happened here?
Tech snuck into the hanger through the elevator and booked it on the motorcycle.
As Tech drove down the near empty streets, he felt his eyes well up with the salty liquid that was tears. The engine to his motorcycle was nearly the only thing heard for a few blocks. Looking back on his horrible experience, he knew that he had wasted one year of his life with those horrible people.
The first thing he did was create a new banking account for his money. Then, with that money, he would buy himself a place to live.
Back at the tower, the Loonatics were one man short and vandilized.
"What happened to our stuff?!" Lexi asked, placing her hands on her head.
"Seesh, looks like a total robbery to me..." Duck looked around at the bullet-stuffed furniture.
"Anyone seen Tech?" Ace asked.
"He's-not-in-his-room-which-is-quite-odd-if-not-suspicious-if-I-might-add..." Rev said, rubbing his chin.
"I see..." Ace went over into Tech's room and snooped around.
The other Loonatics began to clean up.
"Wow, Slam, whoever did this really likes you. None of your stuff is gone or broken..." Lexi said.
Ace looked in his trash can and saw a ripped up suit.
"Oh, wow..." he thought as he pulled the suit up, examining it.
Claw marks...
Tech recalled the incident...
The robots grabbed Tech. He struggled with his life, but to no avail, he was thrown back as the others ran out.
"G...Guys...! Wait...!" he said weakly. "What about me...?" he tried calling out, but was too weak.
"We gotta go! NOW!" Ace yelled as the team ran with him.
"Guys..." he fell unconsious and in the hands of Mallory.
He knew darn well that they had a chance to rescue him, but no. They left him for- presumably dead at the hands of Mallory. But he was let loose after weeks of behind held captive. Not once did he see any attempts at rescuing him from the others, which made him furious.
Tech snapped back to reality. He shut his eyes tight to keep himself from crying.
"Uh, guys?" Ace came out of Tech's bedroom to show them his ripped up uniform.
"I think we have a clue as to how this happened..." he added.
".....What're you saying, Ace?" Lexi asked.
"I'm thinkin' that Tech did all this..." he said.
"W-What? He-He-couldn't-have! I-refuse-to-believe-that! No-way-n-o-w-a-y-no-way!" Rev crossed his arms and shook his head a lot.
"You mean the genius' head finally snapped?" Duck asked.
"His lab is a wreck and his laptop is gone, Rev. Do YOU have any suggestions?" Ace asked.
Rev stayed silent. He didn't know what to think. Lexi felt the same way. She looked down and thought for a moment.
"Tech...did you really do this...? Are you ok...?" Lexi thought.
At the Loonatics tower, the mess that had been made by their former team member had nearly been cleaned.
"You guys are gonna clean up here, right? I'll start in Tech's lab," Lexi said as she began for the metal door.
"Eh, sure thing, Lexi," Ace replied, picking up some broken pictures.
Ace looked down at the picture as he picked it up. It was a picture of them hanging out at the beach. There was a bullet hole through one of the team members heads, along with burn marks around the hole. Ace saddened a little and shook his head, placing the picture in the garbage can.
Lexi looked around in Tech's lab for anything he didn't break. She saw some papers on his desk, along with dots of blood going across the paper. The pens point was stained with the blood as well, so she assumed that he had gotten so angry that he stabbed himself.
"Tech..." she thought.
She sat down in the office chair to look at the paper. It looked to be a note for the rest of the team. She began to read.
"Hero. When I think of that word, I don't think of "my friends" at all. It only brings me to comic book heroes. I would much rather read those then to do an actual heroes work.
My friends suck. Leaving me to almost die like that. They didn't even look back... I hate them! Heh heh, look at me. Writing this note to blow off steam. Of course. You would do that when you're angry, right? Yeah.
Ace. Haha. Not even I think I know how much I want to put a bullet in his head. No, better. I'd love to watch him die a slow, painful death. Oh, that would just make my day...
Duck. That annoying little brat. I'd snap him in two if I had the chance. That ignorant fool.
Slam. I know I shouldn't say anything bad about him. He's too nice to me! I like him. Although he doesn't have proper speech capabilities, you'd know he's a nice guy.
Rev. He's not bad. Annoying at times, but... I... *There's something what looks like to be teardrops on the paper at this point* I'm so sorry, Rev... My best bud... I don't want to leave you like this, but if only you could feel what I'm feeling right now... I hope you'll forgive me. Please...
Lexi. I apologize to you too, Lexi... I would never, ever leave you, or let you escape my mind. You'll always have a place in my heart, living or dead. I'll admit it, Lexi, I love you! I'd never wanna let you go. I really, really love you... *Even more teardrops stain the paper, it looks like he had been crying while writing things about Rev and herself*
Lexi's eyes welled up with tears. She placed her arm on the table, then rested her head down and began to cry. She knew she had to show the others this note.
Tech had gotten himself a room at a nice hotel until he could find a good place to live in. he looked at the clock.
"Oh, cool. Lunch time," he smiled for the first time in a week and went on down to the resturant that was built inside the hotel.
Lexi came out with the note in her hand.
"What's that bloody and wet piece of paper ya got there, Lex?" Ace asked, walking over to her.
Lexi quickly wiped her face as he walked over.
"It's a note left by Tech..." she said sadly.
"I think it would be best if everyone read it," she added.
The whole gang gathered around.
"Ace, you go first... Then pass it to Duck, then Slam, then Rev..." Lexi said.
"Uh, ok..." Ace looked down at the note as he held it.
Ace. Haha. Not even I think I know how much I'd like to put a bullet in his head.
Ace stopped reading. That was all he needed to see.
"A...Are you sure Tech wrote this...?" Ace asked.
"Just pass it to Duck if you're done..." she simply said.
Ace said no more. His ears drooped as he passed it along.
"Hmm?" Duck began to read.
Duck. That annoying little brat. I'd snap him in two if I had the chance.
Before Duck could pass it, Lexi took it. Duck huffed.
"Slam, I'll just read yours. *Ahem* Slam. I know I shouldn't say anything about him. He's too nice to me. I like him. Although he can't talk right, you'd know he's a nice guy..." she read while all the time her voice was cracking from being on the verge of tears again.
Slam smiled. She passed it to Rev and he began.
Rev. He's not bad. Annoying at times, but... I... *This is where the paper got wet with tears* I'm so sorry, Rev... My best bud... *Rev's eyes widened* "Best...bud..." was all he could say. I really don't want to leave you like this, but if only you could feel what I'm feeling... At this point, Rev wanted to know all about what he was feeling. He wish he could. Please.... Forgive me, Rev... Please...
Rev's eyes welled up as he gave the paper back to Lexi. He was so close to bursting into tears that he could taste it. He thought about his feelings for him for a quick moment. He could've swore that he felt a butterfly in his stomach as he thought about him. He just walked over to the bullet-covered couch and layed down.
(I'd actually like to thank Jetsir for helping me out on chapter 2 and the two parts for chapter 4. ^_^ Thanks!)
