I have just had a brillent idea
LET'S DISSECT LU! Serously I think it's high time we took every episode and character and anylize them to bits and peices!
Not just anylize within the context of the show but look for philosophical and psycological themes within the show.
I think someone should make a Loonatics Dissected website, in the same vein as this Ninja Turtles website http://www.geocities.com/tmntdissected/
We've had topics about everyone's 'secrets' but all that was pure speculation
This topic we look for in-show evidence to understand what makes the characters tick.
Here is a good way to start, In The World is My Circus, Do you ever wonder the logic of Ringmaster's plan? Why turn humans (or anthros) into animal freaks that
don't look humanoid at all? Why not experiment on regular animals? The only time non-anthro animals are seen or metioned is within the context of zoos
Has all the wilderness been wiped out? Are animals rare on a planet that is entirely city?
Sounds like a good idea to me! Although I s'pose to participate, I'll have to hunt up the episodes online, since my DVD's are all packed up right now. But yeah, those are already some interesting questions posed. I have a feeling all the wilderness was wiped out... I mean, it is a /city/ planet after all. But either way, come to think of it... there doesn't really seem to be many trees. -shrug-
Obviously Tech wouldn't have gone to the trouble of making such a grand gesture if Rev were a total stranger... I mean, if someone YOU didn't know was talking non stop, would YOU show a frozen slice of pizza down their throat? (Don't answer that...)
My conclusion is that either the Loonatics had been working together for some time now, or Tech and Rev knew each other before the team hooked up. The latter, I feel, is unlikely. Tech seems too distant from ANYONE (including Rev), in the first few episodes to have known anyone else beforehand (especially in comparsion to later episodes)... ALSO if Rev and Tech had been friends throughout high school or whatever, then Tech would have obviously met his parents at some point... And Rev would have remembered Mallory... So I feel as though that by the time 'LOI' aired, they'd prolly been in the tower for three or four months... 83

As for villains in Loonatics, the Robo-vikings get the award for least amount of character.
What was their motivation? Basicly they just wanted to take over Acmetropilis cuz it was there
That's what Vikings do XD ! They conquer foreign lands and kill the innocents there because they're there. No, but seriously, you've got a point there.
Speaking of which, apart from his greed for money and riches, why does Massive want all that money? Does he have a debt to pay to someone or something? Who knows?
hmmm i wonder...would anthos keep pets? O_o.........
Oh and I agree, that the Tic's might've been together for a few months, after all, that would probably explain how they had a years anniversairy in Comet Cometh
