That Smooth Criminal (Series)

(I'm feeling confident about this idea! I hope you enjoy. If you've ever heard 'King of Rock' by DMC, that's his theme song, but just the main guitar part and drums!)

(Now, to prevent confusion, this takes place in 2772.

BUT...

Tech is NOT a loonatic. The rest are. And he has a different name. Expect him to a smooth/slick type of person, which makes him badass.)

Chapter 1: A New Threat

The door to the Acmetropolis World Bank slid open as a suspicious character into the lobby. He wore a white, 20's mobster outfit with a hat to top it off. Over his two shoulders was a blue, glittery scarf, giving it that disco/mob kind of look. The white hat had a blue ring around the base of the elevated part.

Approaching the teller with a grin on his face, he kept his eyes hidden from the teller with the hat.

"I'd like to make a withdraw..." he said in a sly voice.

"How much?" the teller asked.

"How about..." before finishing his sentance, he slipped out a tommy gun that shot lasers and aimed it at the teller. "...everything you've got?" he finished with a chuckle.

He lifted his head up, revealing his face. It was a well-groomed coyote, slim and intelligent-looking, without the nerdiness. The security guards went for their guns and aimed at the coyote.

He raised a palm to the security guards, laughing.

"Ah-ah-ah! I don't think sooo..." he said as he shot his magnetism at the guns, lifting them up and out of reach.

"I'm in a hurry, so I'll just take all of it myself..." he said, shooting his magnetism at a huge pile of money and shooting it out to a vehicle he built on his own.

"Thanks for the loot, sweet thing..." he chuckled, grabbing his hat and holding it above his hand. Like magic, a grenade dropped out of it.

He tossed it at the guards blocking the door, creating a hole and tossing the guards into the air and against the wall.

The smooth criminal took his leave, the money going with him.

Chapter 2: R/Run

Over at the Loonatics Tower...

As the Loonatics had their breakfast, they thought they would finally get the vacation they needed.

"What's on the agenda for today, Ace?" Lexi asked, sitting at the table and chowing down on some bacon.

Ace brought over some toast for the others to eat. "Hopefully we can get dat vacation we need..." he chuckled, beginning to sit down.

Once he sat down, the hologram projector came to life as Zadavia came on screen.

"Good morning, Loonatics," she said.

"Mornin' ta you too, Zadavia. What's up?" Ace asked as he ate a piece of toast.

"The Acmetropolis World Bank was robbed as of an hour ago," she announced.

The group stopped eating and went up to the round table.

"I guess it had ta be someone special for it to be our business..." Ace said calmly.

"Indeed. This man is really special, indeed," Zadavia said as an image of the coyote appeared next to Zadavia.

"The real name of this coyote is unknown, but he does go by the name of Run. R for short," she said.

The picture of Run showed him in a fancy pose with his right foot out and his hat in front of his eyes. He truly was a mystery man.

Ace's eyes widened. He tilted his head, seeming to be very fimiliar with this person.

"Zadavia, any chance of getting a picture without the hat in front of his eyes?" he asked.

"Sorry, Ace. This is the only photo to ever exist of him," she replied.

"Does he dress for every occasion?" Duck remarked.

Lexi turned to look at Ace. "You seem to know him...?" she said.

"I don't know..." he muttered.

"In any case, I want you guys to apprehend this infamous bank robber ASAP. Zadavia out," with that, she dissappeared from the hologram.

"Run...huh..." Ace murmured, falling into deep thought.

I wonder why Ace seems to recognize him..... OH! OH! Maybe they were childhood freinds but broks offaround high school and they don't really know each other because their memories were messed up after the meteor and.. *rambles on*

Chapter 3: A HeroVillian, Part 1

Despite being a criminal, Run was also legally in the clear because of his occasional heroism. He'll save some helpless children or some people in a burning building or a car accident. He also had a great lawyer to back him up.

He was also rich, hence the robbing of banks. He owned a medium-sized mansion on one of the big hills in Acmetropolis.

"Well, I've got my earnings for the month..." Run said as he finished putting his earnings in a valut he had in the very back, locked up safely.

He picked up a remote from an end table next to the couch and pressed one of the few buttons on it, turning on a killer stereo system that played popular songs. He proped himself onto the couch and placed his hat in front of his eyes, getting ready to doze off.

*~At the Loonatics Tower*~

"So, if this Run guy is also hero, what does that REALLY make him?" Duck asked.

"One of those people that can get himself in the clear by doing good and bad deeds, I'm afraid..." Rev shrugged.

Ace rubbed his chin as he sat at a computer doing some research on Run. He couldn't put his finger on it, but it occurred to him that he might have seen this guy a long time ago...

Lexi came into his bedroom and came up behind him, leaning against the chair. "You still looking up this guy?" she asked.

Ace sighed. "I just can't remembea, Lex. Don't I know dis guy from somewhere?"

"Maybe that meteor slowed your memory. I can't remember past 8th grade, which sucks..." she replied.

He chuckled. "Yea, maybe..."

Meanwhile, a call came in about some other criminals with some sort of powers of their own. They were easily brought into custody.

Run got bored and decided to watch the news to see what was on. He wasn't much for watching everyday stories about murders and small crimes, but a certain story caught his attention.

"Again, Ace Bunny and the Loonatics have done it again by bringing a series of murders into custody," the reporter said as the cameras were on Ace and the others.

Run looked up and lifted his hat, an eyebrow raised. "Ace...Bunny...? Why does that ring bells...?" he asked himself, propping his clean pants and shoes onto the coffee table.

"How do I know a bunny...?" he thought.

(Ok, so this part is a bit boring. But, don't worry! Part 2 will have more of an interest value. ;))
