Debating Help.

Well, tomorrow I have a big debate which will get me into the finals of our debating competition at my school. The topic is 'Ban Cars Because They Pollute The Air' and I'm on the affirmative side. I need some ideas for things to say. Please help!aww

I like purple... it's purple. I, like my friend Dani, support these pairings Tessidy, Sethidy, Calric, Seck, Ricy, Duri and Cassless (Sorta XD)
And these which she doesn't, Frev, Lock, Lexarchis and Frob!

I did debate for some years in high school, so I could have helped, if you hadn't posted this THE day before the debate.

Nonetheless, I would have argued this in favor of the affirmative.

1.) No where does the topic specify that ones cars were banned, they would stay banned. You could have argued that the topic merely could call for a temporary ban of cars, until they were made to be more energy-efficient and less polluting. This would be a legit argument that would be hard to negate.

2.) In matters of transporting economic goods, a car ban wouldn't necessarily be much of a problem, since nowhere does the resolution call for the ban of trains, airplanes, ships and buses. Transportation would be still possible.

3.) Argue something about how much cars pollute, and then tie that back into the first point, saying that cars should be banned until the problem is fixed.

It'd be extremely hard to counter-argue these points.
