At first, Quick appears to be a regular teenager. Doesn't like school that much, enjoys simple things like shopping, video games, racing and just hanging out. The usual. Until you dig deeper and see that she spent a lot of time babysitting and second-parenting her numerous brothers, as well as suddenly having the opportunity to become an "apprentice" to the Loonatics. Quick is quite mature in my eyes. If she wasn't, she wouldn't have been offered a place on the team. That's my reasoning anyway. *nod*

She appears to have her priorities straight. And she has morals. She's not going to go around with just ANYBODY for the sake of it *cough*Duck*cough*. She knows who she wants and when she should go for it. This is also just something that I've gathered along the way. 83

I'm not sure which ship I pair. I guess I like the idea of SethxQuick, but I don't know if I really know Seth enough yet to be able to confirm whether or not they'd make a good couple.

I like how she always says "My God!" in Spanish! It's like, her little catchphrase or something. XD

It makes me smile. On the subject of her actually BEING Spanish and having trouble with English, this is a very realistic and a nice character trait that gives her a pleasant human flaw. I'm quite fond of it, really. If you had of just made her able to easily speak both English AND Spanish, I don't think I'd have liked the Spanish side of her much. But because you made it into a believable flaw, something she has trouble with sometimes and needs assistance for it, it definitely adds to her character.

One thing I really DO love about Quick is that she isn't at the level of the Loonatics. She's WORKING her way there, with the team guiding her and acting as her superiors. This is a nice change from her being just another character who just joins the team because she's super-awesome and stuff.

Is that alright? ^__^

Wow, I feel so glad that Quick's actually had an impression on someone with the deeper ways she is rather than just because she's nice" or "cool"...and "awesome" biggrin.gif XD

I'm glad you saw the whole, both-sides-of-the-fence, aspect to her; her being like a regular teen, but at the same time a responsible role model and "second-parent" to her brothers.

You don't know HOW GREAT it was for me to read what you wrote about her being spanish.
Sometimes i feel like I'm not doing it right. I like to get across the whole "she's Mexican, and speaks spanish" thing, buuuut I also have to factor in 2 things.

1. I am NOT spanish. I do not speak spanish fluently, and I have to do A LOT of translation on my behalf.
2. Not everyone UNDERSTANDS spanish. So I try to put the more simple words in her speech, without me or her translating them, but instead translating stuff like long sentances or unfamaliar words.

So, yeah you saying that I did well with that, deserves Xtream graditude aww.gif (XD there I go again giggle.gif

Also, You picked out one of my FAVORITE things about Quick, the fact that she isn't...really a Loonatic. She's a Trainee shrug.gif
She doesn't get to go on a lot of missions, because of Ace's concerns
She has to go through a lot of training
And quite often...she doesn't know what the heck is going on! XD

As for coupling, i have to admit, sometimes I can't choose which one I like more *brick'd by Seth*
In all honesty, Quev (QuickXRev for the unknowing masses) existed wayyy before SethXQuick.
But I do, enjoy the pairing ^-^, it's just.......OCs are usually created for a someone's favorite character, are they not?

But anywhoooo......

The Phantom Tollbooth fic I made. In quote....

*writes her own chapter to conclude the story*

Chapter 9 and a half

Then everything exploded. Except for Duck, Tock and Rev, who miraculously found each other amongst the debris of the shattered universe. Oh, and Slam lived too.

They soon found a relatively pieced-together bit of planet and rebuilt a life upon it, wherein Duck constructed Rev a white house with a red-tiled roof and trim little garden and Rev cooked Duck a meal every evening after a hard day of landscaping and hunting with Slam. Tock became their pet and slept at the foot of their bed each night while they reminisced about Acmetropolis and how lost they were without realising how much they truly loved one another.

Then somehow Rev and Duck had cute little Roadrunner/Duck babies and Slam had a mansion full of whores for him to rule over. They all lived happily ever after.
