Mairi: My birthday's on the 7th of August. My favourite food would prolly haffta be my homemade pies... My personal opinion of Cassidy is that she's a beautiful soul and a wonderful mother... And I enjoy tacos, but not as much as I enjoy candy canes. ^__^

Caramelldansen is my least favorite thing in the whole entire world.

Once one of my friends started doing it and I just slapped her. Like, instantaneously. It was impulse. And I smakced her pretty hard too. She stopped!

Mairi: Oh, Maz originated in year 8... A bunch of girls were going around, giving everyone nicknames, and when they came to me, they realised Mairi was already a nickname. So the sat there for the whole of lunch trying to come UP with something and eventually settled with Marz Bar. They continued calling me that for about two days, before they shortened it to Mazza and then just Maz. But as soon as I hit college, they stopped and I just became Mairi again. Only my earliest friends continue calling me Maz. And Duck. Because we often talk ONLINE and that's my ONLINE NAME. ^__^

The girl I based Mairi off is named Carolyn. She's my brother's gf. A lot of Mairi's characteristics and back-story are based on this real-life person, along with a few of MY traits just for good measure. I once said to her that I wanted to call my first born daughter Amara, and she replied with, "Oh my God, Emily! Don't you dare! MY first born girl will be Amara!" (But I said it first, so it's mine. XD) Anyway. It seemed fitting... But Amara as a whole sounded too... Out of place amongst the Loonatics.

SO! There's another girl at my school, see, called Mairi... She's hardcore. And her name rocks. *shrug* Ah-MAH-rah. MAH-ree. Seemed to work. XD

As for her middle name, when I first drew her and revealed her on dA, I asked what I should call her (this was before I picked Amara). But not long after, I decided on her name. But someone had suggested Ashleigh, so I just ran with that as her middle name.

Not very exciting, I know.

Mairi: AHEM! That story wasn't even CLOSE to the truth! My Mummy and Daddy were having difficulty on choosing a name for me, so a close friend of the family suggested Amara. *bats eyelashes*
Duck: Didn't you find out later that he actually picked the name out of a TV guide?
Mairi: Oh! Hush up you! -__-

Um.....I have a perfectly round birthmark on my left knee a little smaller then a dime. ^_^;

My birthmark's on my arm and it looks like a rabbit biggrin.gif....
