I've noticed this problem for a while, but before, I wasn't really able to do anything about it.
There's a little thing about reviving topics that have been inactive since 2007... or even early 2008. A lot of the time, newer users dredge up old topics just to reply to users who no longer visit LUO.
As such, I would personally advise users to stop reviving topics that are more than a few months gone. If no one's been posting there since April - or early 2007, for that matter - it's kind of pointless to add new information there.
Those of you who've been doing this know who you are.
Revival of super-old threads, no matter how awesome, will result in a warning. You get two warnings; on the third, you will be banned.
Yeah, I know this is touchy, but please, just use your brains. It's pretty obvious that a topic is DEAD when it hasn't been touched in months.
This rule pretty much goes into effect... well, now.
I agree with this, especially in the pairings section. It annoys me when people keep bringing old Acexi topics to the top... They all say the same thing. -__-

I do suppose there are a few exceptions to be made... like the "________ Army" threads. Of course, they could always surreptitiously steal the banners, but I gather that people like to tell everyone that they're going to support a character. XD
