Rev opened the door and smiled. He was wearing his Mork looking pjs and night cap still. "Hey! Breakfast down in the lobby!"

(I never saw the show but i believe Robin Williams olayed an Alien named Mork in some old 70's show???....it was probably good....because Robin Williams is AWUSUM!)

Quick laughed a bit more and speed down after the talle avian, calling to the others as she left, "Vamos!"

Mairi poked Quick as they sat at the table with the rest of the Loonatics.

"Don't sit next to ME or anything," Duck interjected sarcastically from across the table. "It's not like we're TOGETHER or anything."

Mairi ignored him and helped herself to some toast.

(Well that's the only thing different! They are longsleeved pjs with red and white candy cane stripes and a night cap! Who else where's that?! D8)

Icy sat down and looked around the lobby for anything that wasnt hot besides cereal. It was a curse sometimes to not have a hot meal. She then spotted a fozen yogart machine, picked Ozzie up, and then went to get them some.

The atmosphere over breakfast was relaxed. Everyone enjoyed their individual meals whilst sharing the company of one another. Most of the talk surrounded Rev and how relieving it was to know he'd be ok.

Quick ignored the duck as well, so easily it was as if he'd never even spoken. In fact...

"You say something Danger?" Quick asked ignorantly, not ACTUALLY caring for the answer but just starting random breakfast conversation.

She reached over for some toast as well, and levitated the cream cheese over to her from across the table before grabbing a butter knife and slathering a large helping of it on 2 sclices of the crispy bread.

Duck glared. He knew she was asking for a battle of wits, but his mind was still waking up. He had to think quick... No pun intended.

Icy sat down with Ozzie sitting on her shoulder sipping at some hot chocolate. She bit into her frozen yogart and laughed as the ferret was suddenly swamped with the same attention.

"Ooh ouch that hurt" she continued to nonchalantly spread the cream on her toast, "though I think it's great you learned the value time," she sighed, "Ay, if only you didn't waste it everytime you opened your beak"

She took a bite of toast with a smirk.

It never took long for her mind to wake up...of course.

"Uuhh... Well... Shut up, you're despicable." he shot back, turning all his focus on his breakfast. He lost. Miserably. It was too early to be a smart arse.

Quick felt proud...though, there was rarely a case where Duck won in thier little exchanges.

Through out the entire breakfast Rev and Icy kept flicking each other quick glances and the occasional smile that only lasted a mere second. It was a little awkward but Icy felt like giggling every time it happened. Ozzie noticed this and laughed outloud into his mug as he took another sip.

Tech glanced at the two in curiousity. After that strange sleep-talking Rev had done that morning, he was getting suspicious..... Had anything changed? There certainly seemed to be some differences...

Cassidy meanwhile, was happily munching away on some pancakes.... However, the gang stared at her in disbelief when she suddenly put ketchup on her pancakes. Tech glanced over to her and sighed softly, hiding a smile.

A few seconds later, Cassidy had that strange feeling hit her again. She felt dizzy and sick. She quickly stood up. "Uh, I'll be back!" She yelped before running off to the bathroom.

Mairi gasped as she ran to catch up with Cassidy. "Wait! Cass! You're haitr! D8"

Duck rolled his eyes.

Ace looked after the two girls in concern. "Eh is there a doctor in the house?

Ozzie raised his little paw and grinned. "I'm a doctor! 8D"

Ace raised an eyebrow as he tried to grin. "Eh what's up doc?"

Icy splurted cold chocolate into her cup. "Oh god I think that jsut went up my nose... XD"

Before Quick could even BEGIN to laugh at Ace's little joke, she boomed with laughter at what Icy had just said.

She leaned back in her seat and laughed a loud "HA!" before covering her mouth to drown out the rest of her laughing.

Suddenly there was a loud explosion about a mile from the hotel.

The others stood up and ran for the door. There was a billowing mass of smoke coming from the desert

Ace rolled his eyes. "One! Just ONE vacation!"

Ace rubbed his temple. "Okay, forget the uniform or getting dressed. Take your pjs with ya nad strap on a jetpack. We need to get over there quick."

The group heaved a heavy sigh and then ran for the buss to get the back up eqquipment Tech had packed.

The coyote shook his head. It was a good thing Cass and Maz were occupied.

Icy was about to take off with the others when she felt a wait on her shoulder. "Bad guys?! You show them to me and I'll give em som ferret fisty cuffs!"

Icy shook her head and placed Ozzie down on the ground. "Stay here. No place for a ferret. We'll handle it."

"But..." Ozzie started but Icy had alreayd turned around to take off. Quickly the ferret grabbed onto her long tail, climbed up it, and snuck into the pack.

Quick jogged into the bus to get equipment too. Hey, she wasn't gonna be left out this time, not after whatever that was ruined her breakfest!

She smiled to herself as she activated her jet pack.....hopefully she wouldn't nearly fall out of the sky this time.

Rev flew up without his jetpack and could already see what was going on. There was a lab where the desert met the ocean and fire and smoke was everywhere. The mutated creatures were running all over the place and the scientists running in all directions.

Tech looked around, eyes wide.

"What the heck?"

MEANWHILE:

Cassidy and Mazz, having found out they had been left behind, retreated to their room as Cassidy was really tired. Cassidy flaked out on one of the beds while Mairi sat nearby, sewing.

As she weaved the cotton around the edges of a daisy in a neat little button-stitch, Cassidy watched. Mairi looked up and smiled. "Want me to make a quilt for the baby?" She asked. "I always made quilts for my nieces and nephews."

Rev looked around down bellow. "Well what I'm guessing is that this is some kind of experimentation lab and maybe on or two or three or all the experiments got out of hand and decided to rebel aganst the scientists and that one down there spurting flames from its mouth probably is the ring leader and might have set the building on fire. But that's just my hunch...."

The Loonatics stared at him.

"All the same we have to stop them before all those monsters spread out any further! Come on Loonatics!" Ace urged as all their eyes glowed.

Icy lnadeed and froze a monster's foot to the ground as it tried to charge at her. While she shot beam after beam at him Ozzie poked his little head out of the backpack. He feel a pulse coming within the building. "There's....someone in there...."

He pounced out and tried to get Icy's attention but she couldnt here him over the racket. "Yoohoo! Hey! Someone's in there! GAH!" He jumped out of the way as the monster slammed its tail near him.

Ozzie fel the urgency of the matter and decided to see if he could find whoever it was on his own. He got down on all fours and ran for the building.

Icy had finished off that particular monster when she came face to face with the leader. It had heat waves coming off of it and Icy had to sheild her face from the heat as she stepped back. "Hot much?! You must be parched!" She raised her palms and shot her freezing powers at it. The ice melted and the splash hit the monster in the gut.

It shook it off and glared a her. Icy gulped. "Uh, guess you weren't thirsty huh? WAAA!!!!" She screamed and took off running in the other direction as the mosnter chase after her. It puffed up its chest and let out a large flame thrower. Icy felt the sudden intense heat and collapsed immidiatly.

Rev froze when he heard Icy's scream. "Icy!" He ran towards the huge monster. "Hey you! Don't you dare touch her!" As he ran past, he scooped the fox up into his arms, carrying her far away from the monster. When he was at a safe distance, he gently set her down, fanning her face. "Icy?... Icy can you hear me?! Please Ice! Say something! Anything!!!" Rev was beginning to panic as the fox continued to lay limp in his arms..........

Icy didn't answer and Rev felt her forehead. She was heated badly and was sweating to the point it was almost like running water. He slammed his fist on the ground and ran off, coming back a moment later with Icy's Ice Suit. Carefully he slipped it over her uniform and sat their waiting anxiously for what would happen.

Meanwhile Ozzie was slinking through the burning corridors, using his stone as a sheild from the smoke. He heard a small caughing noise and looked to his left. He gasped. There under a desk was a five-year-old girl wearing a school uniform and brown pigtails. Ozzie crept over and looked up at her face. "Hey, it's alright! I'm gonna get you out of here!"

The girl asped and looked down at the talking ferret, her face tear stained. "Fuzzy?"

"Gah, not that name again. Look, just stay close. I'll protect us from the smoke but the fire is another matter. Don't get close to it or it will break the sheild." A gold light flashed out and a bubble with clean air in it formed around the child. Ozzie becconed her to follow and they crawled away on all fours looking for an exit.
