Tech looked closer and nodded. "Shock collar. You can't just buy those anymore, you need a permit for them. Which I doubt these guys have."

Icy turned and looked at the poor little ferret with sad eyes. Poor thing...

Ringmaster stepped aside as he waved his cape dramatically. "Now, Raja! Speak to our audience and give them the magic shw of their lives!"

The ferret took a deep breath and then smiled out at the crowd with a toothy grin. "Hey! How's it going?!"

Quick gasped now, and looked back toward the ring; releasing the mallard, who was still wobbling back and forth.

"It talks!" she pointed with a stunned expression.

Tech looked around slightly dazed to see if there were hidden speakers or mics anywhere but the whole set of the tent was strictly old fashioned. The even watched as they built it up like in the Disney "Dumbo" movie. He shook his head dumbfounded. "It can't be talking! I-I mean it's not an anthro or anything..."

Quick rushed back to her seat and put a stadying hand on Tech's shoulder.
"So you heard it talk too!" she continued to point.

"We all heard it Quick." Lexi commented unsurely, keeping her eyes on the little animal in the middle of the ring.

The mouse sat down with her mouth slightly agape. Suddenly speechless.

The ferret winked at the audience. "Okay folks, we're gonna give ya one heck of a night. Now! Watch closely. Nothing up my sleeve, cuz, Ha!, I don't have one!" His stone glowed a bright gold and he lifted off the ground in a building whirlwind of air.

Icy echanged looks with Ace and raised her hands, whooping and hollering.

The ferret looked their way and smiled. "Aha! We have two beautiful young ladies right here! Will the fox and Lyre bird come down please."

Mairi squealed and was down there nearly as fast as Rev would have been, dragging Icy behind her.

While it was quiet just before he ferret was about to speak, Quick stood on the bench she was sitting on and yelled.

"WOOOOO!!! THOSE ARE MY AMIGAS!!!! YOU GO GIRLSSS!!!" (8D)

She then sat down with a broad smile as everyone else in the tent giggled.

Icy and Mairi stood on the platfom as the ferret bounded up to them and up on Mairi's shoulder. He placed paper cup upside down on her head and then climbed up onto Icy's to do the same.

As he was placing it on the fox's head Icy suddenly heard him whisper in her ear. "Please help me..."

Icy's eyes widened as she watched the ferret crawl down her to the floor. He gave her one last desperate glance before turning to smile to the audience.

"Now! Behold! I will make these two radiant dames disappear and the cups on there heads shall fall to the floor as proof! Lemme work my magic!" Hethen turned sharply on the two and a gold light shot from the stone. The light struck Mairi and Icy and after it left they quickly evaperated and disappeared infront of everybody.

Mairi blinked. "That... Was trippin'. No, seriosuly, it went off like a frog in a sock. The craziest thing ever. Deadset." She blabbered, wide eyed.

Duck rolled his eyes, leant up onto his toes and pecked her cheek gently. Mairi stared at him silently before squealing and forcing him into a large hug.

The ferret winked. "Is there a Rev Runner out in the audience?! We need a prince for this fair maiden!"

Icy blushed bright red but as she did she felt a wind pass and something that felt like something hat just tapped her on the cheek.

The ferret called again. "Rev Runner?! Are ou in the audience?!"

Tech called down in behalf of his friend. "Went to go get popcorn!"

The ferret shrugged. "Sorry, ma'am."

Iy shrugged. "S'okay." Ash she and the two love birds exited the stage Icy felt the spot on her cheek.

Mairi continued strangling Duck in a bone-crushing, air-restricting hug as she carried him back to their seats. When at last it became too much for him, he quacked out of her arms and gasped rapidly. Mairi continued to beam her happy, bright smile.

The ferret stared out at the audience as the Ringmast came out to close the final act. He took a bow and then slowly walked back off sage. Waiting for him behind the curtain was a tiny, fat clown holding a cage. "In ya go, you good little boy..."

The feret just stood there stubornly. Otto the clown took out a remote and pressed one of the buttons on it. The ferret jumped up and yeped as he was zapped. He shot a heated glare at Otto before crawling back into his cage.

Otto closed the door and locked it, smirking co.ckily. "Good boy Raja! Now sit tight while I go get you a treat.

When the show was over, the Loonatics and co. left the tent, chattering away excitedly. Mairi fiddled with the front of her orange blouse as she babbled away excitedly.

"I've never been to a REAL circus like that i mean I've seen stuff on TV but never anything in REAL LIFE. Did you see how those gymnasts moved up those poles? And that act with the bear! That was incredible!" She then noticed that Icy appeared distracted. "Hey, Ice? You ok?"

Icy nodded and then took control of the situation. "Right. Duck and I will get the animals, Ace, Lexi, and Slam get the two bad guys, and Tech, Cassidy, and Rev go deal with the pirated equipment this guys has. And break!"

Ace blinked. "Eh, what's goin' on??"

Lexi rolled her eyes. "The Ringmaster is keeping animals under restricted conditions. We're going to help them. Keep up Ace!"

"Eh, I was eyin' off da rollercoaster..." He admitted, chasing after Lexi and Slam as they disappeared into the back of teh tent.

Rev gave Icy a hearty salute, before disappearing in the opposite direction, followed by Tech and Cassidy.

Quick puted and sat next to her. "At least I have company this time...." -___-;

Icy snuck around a pile of crates an peeked over. She nearly gasped when she saw all the caged animals but Duck slapped a hand over her mouth before she got the chance.

Icy stepped up to a cage and took the lock in her hand. It frose and when he brought her foot down on it it shattered, leaving the door swining open lazily.

Duck quacked into one of the cages, touhed the koala that was inside, then quacked back out with it clinging to his arn. ".......heh. Found what I'm getting Maz for her birthday..."

Ace finally took on a leadership role as he lead Lexi and Slam around into a smaller, more condensed tent. He signalled for the toerh two to keep quiet as they listened to the conversation inside...

The Ringmaster spoke up. "I'm telling you Otto, I dont know where that little freak show came from but finding him was the iggest break we've ever had! He's making us RICH!"

"Are you nuts?!" Otto snapped at him. "This is bigger then money! With that rat's powers we could take over Acmetropolis in one!"

Icy looked around but after realeasing all the animals and herding them into a corral just outside the tent until the police got there. She looked but ddint find the ferret anywhere. "He's not here!"

Icy dahsed off before Duck could stop her and toward the Ringmaster's trailor. It was empyt when she looed in the window but atthe back sitting on a table was the ferret curled up in a sleeping ball in his cage.

Icy kcike the door in and climbed into the trailor. he ferret jumped and looed throught the glass, his nose trying to stick through one of the holes. "Um, when I siad help me, I didn't think you'd do it personally..."

Icy froze the lock and shattered it, opening the cage. "Come on Raja. We got to get you out of here..."

The ferre crossed his arms. "My name isn't Raja! It's Ozzie. Ozymandius..."

The door suddenly slammed open and Icy felt a sudden sharp pain course through her body like a shockwave. She cried out as she was lifted off the ground. Icy tried moving her limbs but with little progress. Otto had caught her in a paralyzing ray.

Otto sneered an uggly grin as he held the ray out infront of him and grabbed Ozzie by the scruff. "Going somehere?"

The ferret squirmed under the painful grip. "Help!"

Icy tried to move but the only thing she coudl do was cry for help, which bugged the hell out of her. Sense before annoyance though and she called for her teammates. "Guys! Help!"

A Red blur zipped into the room, knocking the ray out of Otto's hand. Icy fell out of the air with a yelp right into Rev's arms. She smiled and wiped her forehead. "Thanks!"

Otto didn't stay to get caught and snuck off with his hand over Ozzie's mouth so the ferret wouldnt make a noise. Ozzie opened his jaw wide and chomped down on the clown's hand as hard as he could.

"YEOWCH!" Otto dropped him and Ozzie ran.

Otto sneered as he took out the remote. "You won't get far with that collar...." He saw Ozzie turn the corner of a cart and Otto pressed the button. There was the soud of a zap, a cry, and then a tiny thud as a limb paw dropped to the ground from the corner of the cart...

As Rev began to set a woozy Icy on the ground, a known energy came into the air. Suddenly, Duck appeared over at the cart. "Hey, Ice! Found your rat thing... Huh... Looks a little limp..." He called over, tapping the small body with his foot. He then looked over at the group, only to see Otto glaring at him. The mallard let out a small 'eep' before grabbing the ferret and quacking away.

Otto grunted in frustration but before he could make another move he felt himself disarmed, knocked down, and pinned to the floor with a pair of emerald eyes glaring at him.

"You...hurt... her..." Rev said in an angry low voice so that only Otto could here. He forced Otto to hus feet and caled out to Tech and Cassidy as he saw them approach. "Got him!"
