Yeah. That's right. I made a topic. Questioning people's height. D'ya WANNA go?

This prolly should be in random, but I didn't want it to get lost in amongst all the games and whatnot. D:

Anyway, let's go with feet and inches, seeing as a majority of the members here use those measurements.

I'm 5'6". :3

Since I'm Aussie, I had to look up a converter, according to that I'm 4.92126 feet tall. Which means I'm about 5 feet tall (well, DUH!). (150cm)

Danni, when I first found out I had scoliosis, I was banned from horseriding (even though i never DID it) and from trampolines. O:

Emily: My scoliosis is mild, so it only bugs me after riding competitively for quite a while. I have inserts in my shoes to help keep my back straight (Don't ask me how it's connected, coz I'm really not sure. XD)

One of your legs is longer than the other. the inserts help balance out this difference, adjusting your hip which is in fact causing your spine to go wonky.

Same with mine.

Keep wearing your inserts, or your back could end up like mine. O:

Well, I have a mild asperger's spectrum disorder. I can't get rid of it, but I tend not to think about it as such. It's just when I see people who have really severe mental and physical complications, like people with Down Syndrome or deformed limbs, they make me feel lucky yet guilty about how I am. I just feel as though I don't deserve as much as those less unfortunate for me do. That's why it makes me feel ashamed of myself.

So to see the X-Ray piccy of your back and then explaining what it is, it made me feel so sad that you're unable to things like horse-riding and trampolining and other stuff you wanted to do but can't. Otherwise you would break your back or something to make yourself unable to walk again.


That just makes me feel bad.

Don't feel bad! I don't feel bad, so you shouldn't either.

This one guy on dA asked me, "Do you ever ask yourself, 'why me'?" and I was like, "No, because I have Christian morals and believe that if God brings you to it, God will bring you through it... Also, asking why does nothing to help my sistuation."

I don't understand questioning certain situations, or being upset about things that life throws at you, because circumstances always change. No matter what, nothing stays the same. Change is a constant in life, and as they say, 'This too shall pass'. Maybe your aspergers won't pass, Akira, but this shame that you have when seeing other people less fortunate than you certainly will, especially when you learn that not everyone wants you to feel sorry or bad for them. :3 *hugs*
