A few minutes later Icy came out with a pink frilly dress that was so wide at the skirt it rocked back and forth as she walked. She glared at Mairi. "I--am--going--to--kill--yooouuu...."

Icy stomped back into the dressing room with a frustrated snarl. The door slammed behind her and she toe the dress off. She flipped through the dressed Mairi had given her and only saw one she even remotely liked.

It was slim and silver, pale blue, and white. Not too flashy and very simple. There were no sleeve but just the heat shaped front and then nearly the entire back was bare in a curved V shape.

Rolling her eyes she slipped it on with the sandals from the other store and walked out to Maz.

Cassidy glanced around the store in confusion. First off, she had no freakin' clue where the heck she was. Second off, if she did know where she was, she didn't quite know what to do with herself.

"Way to go, Cass... Get yourself lost in a mall like a five year old." She muttered to herself. "Might as well keep walking, I'm bound to run into someone I know..."

"CASSIDY! CASSIDY!!! COME LOOK!" Mairi's voice reached the coyote from over the bustling noise of her surroundings. When she turned, she saw the tall bird hanging out the door of a dress store, waving frantically before disappearing back inside.

"Figures..." She muttered to herself, before racing in to see what the fuss was about.

Both girls stood in awe of the fox. Cassidy's jaw dropped in amazement, while Mairi grinned like Duck had just proposed.

"Wow... Ice... I... Wow..." Cassidy stuttered.

Icy was stunning. (I know, coz I drew the dress. :3 )

Then, in the blink of an eye, a more sardonic smirk slid itself across Mairi's beak. Slowly, she turned her sights upon Cassidy, still grinning that evil grin of hers.

Cassidy caught her expression and stared back in shock and confusion, not knowing just what was behind the look. But with the next two words, she knew exactly what she was in store for. And it frightened her.

"You're next."

As she had done before with Icy, Mairi shoved Cassidy into a different change room.

"Stay, or else I'll attack YOUR face with make up!" she then pointed at Icy. "Buy. That. Dress." She said, slowly and evenly, before disappearing off into the store... And then returning again. "What size are you Cass?"

At this particular moment Lexi and Sapphire chose to make their entrance with their shopping bags. Sapphire was still pouting about the fact that she had to be seen in a gown.

"Lex, you know what happened the last time I wore a gown," she whined.

"Saph, shut up," was Lexi's only reply as she dragged Sapphire into the shop where Mairi, Cassidy and Icy were.

Looking round, her eyes widened in horror, "NOOOOOO!!" she squeled and tried to run out of the shop.

Lexi pounced back at held on to her upper arm, "Ermm, Icy, Mairi, Cass. I could use a hand here," she panted still holding on to the struggling girl.

It wrapped around her torso snuggly and fell to the floor in a very elegent manner. There was a small split up her right leg, while the top of her bodice crossed over her chest evenly, without dipping once. Over her shoulders was a small cardigan-like pice of fabric that connected to the dress itself.

Mairi squealed. "PLEASE! Let me do your hair one the night!!!!" She cried out in joy, clapping and spinning gleefully.

Upon further inspection of the mirror, Cassidy discovered Mairi moving closer and closer to her, staring at the coyote's face through their reflection. Keeping her eyes on Cassidy's eyes in the mirror, she leaned in and whispered, "Turn that frown upside down."

Mairi leant down so Icy could reach. She stood back and admired herself in the mirror. "Princess Amara! Awaiting her prince charming." she said elegantly, before curtstying daintily. Her mobile suddenly began singing something about a jar of dirt. Swiftly, the lyrebird answered it.

"Hello, Mairi speaking... Oh! I was just talking about you! ... No, I'm a princess bubby, and you're- ... Yeah I know... I wasn't going to- ... I'm just hanging out with- ... I'm not!" She began to sound irritated. "... NO!" Now she sounded insulted. "... You do it. You can drive... Nuh... Yeah, not even... Fine... Fine... Fine... Fine... Whatev'..." She laughed. "I don't reckon... Tomorrow night? Annelle has one of those thingies planned... I don't know, I don't listen... Tomorrow morning? Fine... Will I have to dress nice? ... Eugh. Ok then, seeyalater... Ooo-roo!" With that she hung up and continued admiring herself as if nothing had happened.

"Well, that was.... unexpected," Sapphire said slowly just realizing what happened.

"Uh-uh," Icy mumbled, still slightly dazed. Then Sapphire caught sight of the packet that the roadrunner had thrust at her, "Cool, you've got your lunch."

"Well, lets get the others and actually get to eating," Sapphire suggested.

Icy's eyes soften and came into focus, "Oh yeah. We'll round up the others." Realizing what she just said and where they were, she groaned, "If we can cover the entire mall by the next century that is!"

Sapphire gigled, "Cass and Quick are still inside, and Mairi just left....." she ticked off her fingers.

Icy rolled her eyes, "This is one of those moments where I wish I had Rev's powers."

She reached in and pulled out a slip of paper next to her sandwich. Reading it she giggled.
