Icy rolled her eyes as she threw aside the sports mag she had been reading.

Lexi eyed it and raised an eyebow at the fox. "Would it hurt ya if you picked up a Cosmo Girl or something?"

"I didn't know those things were lethal!" Mairi gasped, before grabbing Icy's chin and drawing her face closer. "Do everything I say, and this can be as painless as you'd like it to be." She grinned sadistically, before turning to Cass and ordering loudly: "DON'T TOUCH THAT CURLER! I'M STILL DOING YOUR HAIR!"

Turning back to Icy, she started with a small amount of eye liner, before coating her eyelids with a sprinkling of silver and faint blue eye shadow. She then had Icy look up and blink over the mascara stick, applying a generours amount of the cosmetic. After screwing the cap of the mascara back on, Mairi sat back and looked Icy over, then proceeded to add a touch of rouge to her furry lips.

"Theeeeerrrre! Finished! Now that wasn't so bad, was it?" She grinned, admiring her work.

Suddenly, Cale appeared in the middle of the room. "Hey Mommy! Hey Aunty Mairi, Aunty Icy, Aunty Quick and Aunty Lexi!" She then jumped up beside Cassidy on the bed. "Wow, Mommy, you look very pretty!"

Cassidy smiled. "You really think I do?" She asked, raising her eyebrow at her daughter.

Cale nodded. "Yup! Daddy's gonna love it!"

Mairi patted Cale's head. "Thanks princess. I've been working hard to make your mummy pretty all evening." She poked the coyote. "As if I needed to TRY and make her look nice!" She then continued forcing her long, endless ponytail to curl into one ringlet.

Suddenly, the song about a jar of dirt interrupted all the femninity. Mairi answered her phone.

"Oi, look here you, coz this is how it's gunna be-... What? Now?? ... But it's only 5:30! ... But... You enjoy spoiling my fun don't you?? ... Fine, I'll be up in 5 minutes... Because i just had a show and I need to get changed!" She then hung up.

"You didn't just have a shower..." Lexi decided to point out.

"Hush. He wouldn't've let me finish up Cass if I'd actually ASKED to. DUH." She then continued playing with the coyote's hair nonchalantly.

"Oi, look here you-" She pointed at Lexi and grinned. "You got her on her wedding day. It's my turn to fiddle."

Lexi laughed in turn.

The jar of dirt song started, but Mairi turned off her phone rather than answer it.

"He's being pushy." Lexi said, a warning tone in her voice. Mairi brushed her off.

"He's ALWAYS being pushy." She earned a disapproving ghlance from the bunny. "It's fine. He has to be there to support Tweetums or whatever. I understand why he's anxious to be on time... In fact, I'm impressed that he's not trying to delay going to Blanc. The way he's talked about that bird..." She trailed off as she added the finishing toushes to Cassidy's hair. "There! Perfeck-ssssiun!" She snuggled Cass from behind before standing and regarding Lexi. "I'll give you the important duty of applying her makeup." She then point to Quick. "Straighten your hair, Missy!" With that, she was gone.

Cassidy glanced from Mairi to Lexi, unsure if she wanted Lexi to do her makeup. The last time she had let Lexi do that, Tech fainted. Plus, she got poked in the eye four times.

"I'm warning you now, hold still!" Lexi said, picking up some mascara.

Cassidy gulped and smile sheepishly.

(If you wish, you can do the thing with Lexi and Cassidy. I rarely wear makeup and usually someone else puts it on for me, so I have no clue what to do. XD)

Unknown to the 5 occupents in the room, just outside the door was a young girl holding a camera. She peeked into the room just when she heard the laughter getting louder and guessed that Cale had made her entrance.

"Thanks a bunch Cale," Sapphire whispered. She had planned with Cale the exact diversion. She quickly took some shots and turned to go, unfortunately, being the clutz she is, she tripped over the hem of her dress and fell sprawling into the room.

Dizzily, she felt a pair of small hands pull her up, "Aunty Saph, are you alright?"

She smiled warmly at the young coyote, "Thanks kiddo," while ruffling her hair effectionately.

She stopped when she realized that everyone in the room was staring at her, camera in hand. "Ermm, I can explain," she grinned sheepishly. All the while Cale shook her head at the failed plan.

Quick grabbed the straightening iron and took hold of some of the hair in the front of her face. She proceeded to slowly straighten the bouncy bang of black, slightly sticking her tounge out of the side of her mouth in a look of concentration.

"No paparazzi, Saph." she stated with humor in her voice, though still carefully watching her actions.

"And where is that little hurón, Ozzie anyway?" she reffered to the ferret in spanish.

"Oh, okay!" Cale said. She wanted to join in on the fun in here, so she quickly ran to her room and grabbed Snowy's brush, then called him. The short husky puppy cam bounding up to her. Cale simply said, "Sit." And the dog immediately responded by sitting.

The two walked to the room where the girls were getting ready. Cale told Snowy to sit once more so she could brush the husky's fur.

Mairi went over to her cupboard (since apparently they're in HER room which would technically be DUCK'S room, but for the sake of this rp, let's just say the 'Tics gave her her own room. XD) and pulled out a large plastic box full of numerous little compartments... She set to work finding the cotton that would match Sapphire's dress and once done, began sewing tiny stitches through the tear, strategically hiding the thread from veiw. After a few minutes, the tear was gone with little of a noticable seam.

"There." She smiled, packing her stuff away.
