Ozzie snapped his fingers and everyone returned into their original formal wear. Icy fumeed a little at the dress but then saw Rev take and elegent bow with his hand out. Icy flet herself blush big time and took his hand to the dance floor.

"Good luck." he whispered.
The coyote gave a playful wink to Icy before bowing in front of Quick.

Icy and Rev began dancing to the soft music. Icy was again trying to avoid eye contact when she suddnely heard a sniffing noise. She looked up at Rev and the roadrunner was tearing up.

"Rev?"

Ace waltzed past the two with Lexi in his arms and grinned knowingly. "I tink, when we get home, we should watch da movie."

Icy laughed and nudged Lexi. "You two have fun!"

Ace looked at them curiously. "Uh, Ice, who's your friends?"

Icy and Rev looked up and saw teo of the dragonflies circling them. Red Fiona and blue Fred.

Ozzie called out to them. "Hey you two! Scat!"

The dragonflies cooed and flew off to amuse Tweetums.

Tweetums clapped his hands joyfully as the dragons swooped and dove around him. "Dis is fun! I wish every night was as fun as dis!"

Tech blinked. Every night like this? Every night having to step up in front of a crowd of people and dance beneath flashing neon lights in an odd outfit. His head grew dizzy at the mere thought of it...

(I think we should bring alcohol into it guise. }:3 )

Quick leaned her head againt Seth's shoulder as she danced.............god this song was so freekin beautiful. She resisted the deep urge to cry, but she didn't....she couldn't, and WOUNDN'T...just to be better than Rev. (>8D)

"Nearrrr, farrrr, whereeever you areee" she sang softly to herself and closed her eyes.
She blinked back a tear. 'Damnit' she thought; she couldn't last much longer....then a thought struck her.

Everyone was busy dancing or doing whatever they were doing (*AHEM Mairi&Duck >,>). And Tech & Ace were'nt paying attention......
She whispered something into Seth's ear, and the coyote grinned oddly.

Quick giggled. "To the bar!" she whispered pulling him through the crowd.

Lexi watched Seth and Quick run across the room and eyed them suspiciously. Her keen hearing couldn't quite make out what they'd said because of the interference of the music, and she soon realised how curious she was. First Duck and Mairi, now Quick and Seth... Sussspiciousssss. XD

Icy accidently stepped on Rev's foot and he yelped.

She gasped. "Ohmygosh Rev I'm so so so sorry!"

Rev smiled. "Aw it's alright."

Icy had made eye contact though and now they couldn't stop looking at each other. Icy heard the music and saw the boy and it made her give in. The moment tamed her and she closed her eyes as she rested her head on Rev's chest. The roadrunner was taken aback at first but then relaxed and smiled down at her, wraping his arm arounf her tiny waist and pulling her closer.

The music pulled Sapphire from her trance like state into the packed full room. She found herself singing along to the sweet sound that admitted from the high ceiling while doing slight twirls to the melody.

It took all her will power not to tear up and cry. Gosh this song is amazing. It would be so great to actually be able to dance to this song.

(*sobsob* I actually crawled to the tv and started to beg him not to die *sobsob*. Sapphire : She's not too good today.)

Cassidy stood nearby, watching them. Suddenly, she felt a pair of arms wrap around her gently from behind. She smiled up at Tech, who was hugging her tightly. Cassidy leaned back against him, resting her head on his chest. Tech chuckled and just held her closer as they listened to the music together....

It was then that Duck and Mairi returned, just as the cover for Celine Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On' strained it's last few notes and 'Chemical React' began to play. As Mairi tried desperately to restore her hair's former style, Duck noted Quick and Seth sneaking across the room and through a large archway, followed closely by Lexi. Before the lyrebird had a chance to sit down, he grabbed her wrist and followed his other three teammates through the over sized entrance-way.

In the next room were piled numerous amounts of aliens, all standing around and socialising, sipping from small ****tail glasses an assortment of differently coloured beverages. At the far end of the open space, there sat a long, dark bench behind a series of stools.

Mairi's eyes instantly lit up upon recognition of the room.

"Baaaaarrrrr..." She drew the word out, making it longer due to excessive excitement. She spoke as if some great god stepped before her and granted her a life-long wish.

Cassidy spotted Mairi and Duck walking towards the bar. "I wonder where they disappeared to?"

Tech shrugged. "Who knows?" He glanced at the bar. "You wanna go over there?"

"Tech. You know I don't drink that stuff."

Cassidy closed her eyes and leaned against Tech again as 'Chemicals React' started playing. This was one of her and Icy's fave songs.

When the song began to end, Cassidy ran up to Ozzie and whispered something in his ear. Ozzie nodded and Cassidy walked back to Tech.

Tech raised his eyebrow at her. "What are you up to now?"

Cassidy smiled. "You'll see.."

When Chemical's React was over, a different song, with a faster beat, began playing. Cassidy rocked back and forth to the beat, singing along quietly.

"..Turn up the music! Oh-oh-uh-oh-oh!"

When the chorus began, Cassidy couldn't help but dance. She loved this song, it had such a catchy beat and the fast pace excited her.

'This is the day for all the lovers..
Taking a chance with one another!

Cassidy paused and grabbed Tech's hand, dragging him with her.

'These are the times that we'll remember!
Taking the city's sight together!

Cassidy giggled and smiled at Tech, swinging her hip from side to side in time with the song. Her skater girl style of ice skating easily showed through her princess-like outfit.

Tech smiled nervously and tried to follow her, failing at the same time. XD

(XD.....wait wht song is that? *thinks* hmmmm.....OH Random fact, Quick HAS drank but she shouldn't have then. and she still shouldn't now.......>_> yeah.)

Quick grinned when she and Seth reached the bar area. She looked around at all the colorful martinis and co.cktails the various aliens around her held, as they all spoke in their respective lanugages, dialects, and/or grunts.

"Looks like this is the place" Seth mused more to himself than Quick, a smile fixed on his face as well.

"Si, and they'd better have Acmetropolis drinks here, too. I don't wanna have to guess what I'm drinking." the mouse said to both herself and Seth . She was just about to take a step forward to manuver towards the bar stools when she sensed something; almost like once of her visions of the future Quick saw, in her minds eye, a blur of pink moving right behind them....searching through the crowd.
Quick gasped. It was Lexi.

Seth stared in question of his wife's sudden hault.
"What is it honey? Did you see something?"

"No." Quick answered suddenly jerking Seth to the side behind a large, purple and blue hippo-like alien couple. "But I think Lex is following us."

"Oh." Seth paused and peeked from behind the purple hippo woman, just in time to see the short scene that Quick forsaw.

"C'mon, Vamos!" Quick pulled the coyote sharply behind more people, "If I'm gonna get caught I'd rather it been for me actually doing something wrong." She tried a more difficult to follow path to the bar.

(XD, Quick's so bad.....annnnnd there was a slight Animaniacs refrence in there..........If someone catches it I'll give you a coookieee 83)

Sapphire glance at the side door and noticed Duck and Mairi dissapearing thorugh it. "Hmm, what are they up to?" she wondered out loud. She shook her head, no harm looking right?

Sidestepping some alien officials she followed them through the crowd.

With all the excitement of a four-year-old who had finally been permitted to eat at McDonalds after a week of watching the latest Happy Meal advertisement on TV, Mairi settled herself down on the stool and slapped the bench-top confidently. The bartender sauntered over to her and gave her a questioning glare.

"Do you speak English?" She asked over the music.

"Yes. It isn't my native tongue, but I know enough. What can I get you." He answered through a thick, unrecognisable accent.

"Do you have any drinks from Acmetropolis?" She queried as Duck nestled himself beside her.

"Mairi. Don't get drunk."

"Bubby, get drunk with me." the lyrebird grinned. 83

Duck sighed.

The bartender then offered Mairi a list of drinks. She smirked upon realising that she was familiar with most of them. "Let's start simple. Two Ruski's, please!"

"One for him?" the alien asked, pointing to her partner.

"Yes."

"........ Is he old enough."

Duck's expression turned sour.

"Bubby, show him some ID." Duck begrudgingly complied, shooting the bartender another foul look before eying Mairi with caution. She knew very well that he wasn't one to handle his alcohol gracefully. And he knew very well that she liked to mix her drinks.

This would NOT end well.

(I'M EXCITED! ARE YOU GUISE EXCITED? COZ I'M PRETTY EXCITED!!! 8D)

Lexi blinked. 'I could have SWORN I saw Seth and Quick come in here. Huh... Maybe they were just sneaking off to be somewhere together, like Duck and Mairi earlier...' She rolled her eyes. 'If those two THOUGHT they were being inconspicuous, they're sadly wrong. Mairi's hair was a dead give-away...'

Upon one final inspection of the room, the bunny spotted two familiar faces. 'Speaking of those two. Looks like they're going to start drinking... Oh well, if THEY'RE going to get drunk, then I might as well stay sober...' And with that, Lexi left the area to go back and find Ace.

Cautiusly, she walked over and slid casually into the seat beside Mairi, trying to hide her nervousness. For kicks, she quiped, "Whatcha doiiinnn??" slurring on purpose as the bartender came over with a weird looking drink.

Mairi turned to Duck in horror. "NO! NOT AT ALL LIKE A MELLON!!" She then focused her attention on Sapphire. "Gunna drink with me??" the bird queried, eyes wide and excited.

She loved drinking buddies...

Mairi looked deeply into Sapphire's eyes, making the human feel awkward. Slowly, Mairi leant forward, the same look of suspicion evident in her expression. Sapphire started bending backwards in order to stop their faces from touching. The lyrebird's expression was intense.

She then sat up straight and took a huge swig of her drink that ended in half the bottle being drained.
