I've been told twice to grow up, just for liking and discussing a cartoon. A F*CKING CARTOON. You know what? You grow up. It's all nice and dandy if you don't like Loonatics Unleashed; I really couldn't give less of a sh*t. But, that doesn't mean you have the right to tell us what we are and what to do. And grown up? Don't give me that bull crap. It's been about a week. Who matures that fast?

And we know it's not coming back (except for a few hopeful people). So what? There's a lot of cartoons that aren't coming back. Should we forget about them just because they're over? Like it never happened? I don't think so.

I bit my tongue most of the time through Jetsir's b*ll**** goodbye. Not anymore.

I'm completely behind you, Lauren. Since when did we ever think it would come back anyway? I like LU because it existed despite its decline and then death... and as long as I'm here, right now, to remember it, it still exists. The same goes for the following:
Animaniacs
Felix the Cat
Freakazoid
Looney Tunes (the originals of course)
Beetlejuice
Ren & Stimpy
Invader Zim
Angry Beavers
...and MANY more...

I'm sorry that this "Mean Gurl" left in such a hurry (actually I'm not sorry at all), but she obviously has such a grudge against holding on to the dead. The way she presented herself in not only her final post, but THIS and THIS really just bit me. She really showed no elegance in her words, for one. The girl was quite obviously attacking a good majority of the members of LUO (and that's why I didn't respond to any of her 7 posts) and then trying to say "oh, but no offense to anyone". Dishonest tripe. She was almost as horrid as those gormless "Anonymous" buffoons that keep showing up and spouting insults (and personally I'd rather see Anonymous viewers blocked from posting. It would make a good number of us happier, and I wouldn't have to see them attaking Stylediva anymore.)

So in short... It would have been better if she had never joined at all. We don't need people that judge so quickly. Not in this forum. They can go ruin someone else's moods, hopefully their own.

I'm totally with Lauren and Bandakon on this. TONS of cartoons are over and ppl still like them. Duck Dodgers is gone, and I watch it on Boomerang all the time, same with Full Metal Alchemist and alot of other cartoons/shows.

And as for YOU Miss Mean Gurl101 (name fits perfectly), you AREN'T sorry that your being harsh. The fact that you judge ppl just because they like somthing is extremely childish. And you in fact, have not matured at all. Glad that ur gone sister.

I don't usually post but I have been watching this entire forum for awhile when I saw this post for 'goodbye' that actually gave me pause (and made me kinda mad).

Personally I still enjoy watching most cartoons, while at the same time enjoy watching more 'adult' based stuff. I don't see how still being able to enjoy LU makes me a child. I have a full-time job, am going to graduate school, own my own car, and pay my OWN bills without my parents help ... isn't this what qualifies most to be considered grown-up. confuse

Like I said I still enjoy older cartoons (and some current ^.^) so I don't see how liking something relates to maturity anyway.

Anyway, maybe I actually posted because I can't figure out the bad attitudes of some people concerning the way they have 'moved-on'. This whole discussion feels like something from grade school with Mean_gurl101 trying to become more popular by pointing out how "un-cool" we are just so she won't be associated with the "wierd" kids anymore.

So thank you Mean_gurl101 for showing how 'mature' you are simply by pointing out how 'childish' we are.
